Another attempt at getting my truck fixed gone bad. Second company I reached out to to fix my side-swiped truck after the 1st company fell through. Asked for a bid on Yelp. John replied with a fair price. I asked them to come out for the repair. Gabe showed up and said that it's something that Scott would have to approach, IF he could repair it. He thought it may need to be a replaced part. I was supposed to get a call later that day/next day. 6 days later, I texted Gabe and didn't get any response. I called and spoke with John again. He was gonna check with Scott and call me. Several days later, after not hearing back, I called again and John said he thought Scott called me. That the job would be a few hundred than original quote for the work; at that price, I could have replaced the fender. I told him I was disappointed I never heard back and thanked them for their time. Giving 2 stars for lack of communication, but appreciative of them actually showing up for the bid. read more

I cant believe these guys. This is the greatest work I've ever had done on my car. I've been driving around with what I called "double dimples" on the rear bumper. I am not satisfied with the result so far. In my opinion, a person who worked on my car is a friendly person, but he did a sloppy job because of these reasons. First of all, he skipped the whole finishing job. Due to this painted area is not smooth and not shine at all. I can see lot of dust on the painted surface too. The result is a less professional finished look. Secondly, the result is not good. Some painted area is already cracked. :( The last issue is there is some noticeable color difference between the area with original paint and painted area. I know the last issue is not avoidable, but it can be minimized. Since this is a mobile bumper repair service, they cannot match up the color very accurately. In addition to this, they did not show up on the day they supposed to show up. I got this notice pretty late. Definitely it is not a good experience. At least I supposed to not experience the first two issues. read more

His work is incredible, as someone who is super picky about my cars, I had to make sure I picked a good place and he did an amazing job. My car was hit wile parked on the street and the front fender needed to be sanded and repainted. I went to a couple local body shops and the prices seemed a little high $700 to $1000. As a third estimate I contacted Bumper Buddies, I was a little unsure about a mobile service but when I read all the good reviews I thought I would contact them. They gave me an estimate that seemed very reasonable compared to the other shops $425 just by looking at the pictures below, they scheduled me for 3 days later. All I can say is wow, what great customer service and what a great job! Mike did the work, was done in 3 hours and he did it right in front of my house! The fender looks perfect, it is a 2021 model that needs to be turned in at the end of my lease and they did a fantastic job. Mike was very professional and did a great job returning the fender to perfect like new condition. Absolutely EVERYTHING about this company has been amazing from start to finish. I scuffed up the front bumper of my car and needed to get it fixed ASAP, so I called in as soon as they opened and was able to speak to someone immediately. I sent them pictures of my car and heard back within a few minutes with an (extremely reasonable) quote. And because I needed this fixed quickly, they were nice enough to try to squeeze me in ON THE SAME DAY!! I got timely updates throughout the day about the status of my request as well as confirmation once an open time slot was confirmed. They very much went out of their way just to help me and I will forever be grateful for that. They even made sure to hold an appt for me within the next few days in case they couldn't do same day service! Mike did an outstanding job on my 2016 Toyota RAV4! He fixed a nasty scratch on my front left bumper, repainting and perfectly matching the gray metallic sparkle color on the car. John and the guys are nice and punctual (A +), however their lack of communication within and willingness to honor their original quote is irritating, unacceptable and unprofessional. Very unfortunate to give these guys low rating, but what's right is right, and my experience with bumper buddies was NOT. Beware each "technician" names his own price. Mike told me that pictures hint smaller job thus originally quoting less (makes sense). However, not only did John give me a quote based on pictures, but Sam the technician who actually saw it in person gave me the exact same quote as John ("the scheduler"). I called John after meeting with mike and explains the additional 20% charge for mike coming out to my area specifically to do my car. So John, which is it? You guys need to better communicate amongst yourselves and avoid looking like amateurs or worse yet, liars. read more

Above being very skilled and friendly he has pride in his craft and took extra time and effort to ensure the final results on my Nissan Pathfinder were excellent. If you're on the West side make sure to ask for him. As others have noted, scheduling/timing has some issues (it took several attempts to schedule a follow up buffing with John), which is unfortunate considering the quality of work. Overall happy with the results and the fact that the initial quote was accurate (actually lowered some after inspection) and there was no 'up-selling' hassle.
