So I had bought a new Honda Civic and being dumb I accidentally scraped the bumper against a curb while parking at work. At first I thought I had just rubbed the tired due the angle of the turn but I found out when I got home how bad the damage was. After reading the reviews about how good Ricky was, I decided to give visit his website and leave a request for service. He contacted me shortly after via text message and I sent him a picture and we agreed on a price. We set up a date and that was that I didn't hear from him until the scheduled day and he got to work and made it look brand new again. His main form of communication with me was only text and we talked in person so this was very convenient for me since I am not able to be on the phone all the time and he seems to understand this very well. He came well prepared and was able to mix my color of paint with no issues. It took him about an hour to finish and I couldn't even tell where the damage was anymore! If you want a guy who knows what he is doing and doesn't waste your time with phone calls and a runaround, give this guy a try! A few days ago, I was walking back to my car after having finished up grocery shopping. Only to find that some jerk had backed into my car causing a fracture on my bumper and just took off. After a few mins of swearing, I hit the ground running and started calling around to get the best deal. After calling 9+ body shops (and being quoted no less than 1400 for the repairs) I found Ricky. I messaged him a photo of my car's damaged and less than 6 mins later I got a response from him. Not only was his response time impressive but also he promised great results at a fraction of the cost those other places had quoted me. I would be lying if I said I was apprehensive, great results at a cheap price? "What's the catch?" .... but then I saw the picture of all the high end cars he he worked on in the past and MAN did the results look good! So he scheduled to see me the very next day in the morning, which was great because I wanted to get this dealt with ASAP. The morning of I was running late, I have a one year old so sticking to a set schedule can be tough sometimes. I told him I was running late and he was super understanding. Upon meeting Ricky, I was so impressed by how clean cut he was, BIG SMILE on his face and not dismissive at all! We spoke for a few and not once did I feel awkward or uncomfortable at all. He projected he'd be working on my car for "a few hours".... the man was done in EXACTLY 1hr 15mins. CRAZY RIGHT?! Well the time came to inspect my vehicle and as thoughts of "oh god please let the paint match" and "oh god please let it be seamless" ran through my head, I was left shocked at what my eyes saw. The bumper was impeccable ! Flawless! It was PERFECT! I still can't believe that it looks this good. My husband was even impressed by Ricky's work. My husband was in the military and can be rather particular about things. My husband was so impressed by the quality of work that he has recommended Ricky to two of his coworkers already. Just Amazing! I backed my red Mercedes into a Brick Porch at a friend's home: Big nasty scrapes, pushed in corner and messed up chrome trim. I tried to reach behind the bumper to push it out at least, but there was a big bracket in the way... After I ordered the chrome trim, I looked online and made a few inquiries - sending photos, etc. Randy replied back within an hour and gave me a firm quote, so we texted to make arrangements. Randy was prompt and courteous - I noticed that his truck was well-equipped for the work he is doing and he took great care in covering the areas of the car he wasn't working on so that there would be no overspray. I also asked him to look at a minor curb-rash on one of my wheels which he took care of, and he touched up a couple minor spots on the lower front bumper as well. When he was done, I could see that the quality of work was exceptional - you just can't tell where the work was done at all - he was able to push the corner out, sand, fill & smooth the affected area, and the color match is perfect. He even showed me on his laptop the formula for the factory color: this is how well equipped he is. The wheel was fixed as good as new too - you can tell the guy takes pride in his work. Had a pretty big hole in the rear bumper of my Prius. Body shop quoted me almost $900. Ricky came out, welded the plastic, filled it with flexibile fill and painted the white, pearl and clear coat. He is very nice and professional and is going to come back next week to work on another car at my office and polish my bumper. This is an update to my original review. On 04/18 I submitted a review on this business and Ricky immediately responded immediately by calling me on the phone and was very aggressive. By the end of our conversation he had stated he wanted to make it right and wanted to complete the respair that specific Saturday (04/19/2014). I explained to him it was Easter weekend and had plans anf he responded he would be by during the week for completion of the repair and I agreed. Wow! My rear bumper has been loose and it's been really irritating me so it's about time I get it fixed! I've been trying to look around for a decently priced place that does quality work (doubt those two can fit in the same sentence!). I was quoted about $300 JUST for some shop to re-attach my bumper...how crazy is that? Luckily for me, I found Ricky on Yelp and went to his business website immediately for a quote. GO TO RICKY FIRST. Ricky is AMAZING. Seriously AMAZING. He fixed the bumper, fender and light on my Toyota Prius (photos posted, silver Prius). When I took my car to body shops, there were quoting me for over 1500 dollars and Ricky fixed it for less than half of the cost! Let me tell you, my car was hit badly. I asked other shops if they thought the bumper was fixable, and they said absolutely not, but Ricky did it! He even helped me find a factory light for about a third of the cost I was quoted to replace it. I will NEVER go to a body shop again without asking Ricky first. On top of the amazing work, he even came out to my house and fixed it on a Sunday in less than 5 hours! I had my car fixed same day! Other shops were saying 4 days min for repairs. Ricky is a godsend! Honestly, I can't believe I found him in a pinch. I had to return my leased car but had to fix the bumper first.
