Was visiting Houston this past weekend and we decided to come here for breakfast on a Saturday a little after 8AM. It wasn't busy at all in the morning as they only had one table there when we got there. They specialize in Bun Bo Hue so that is the only item on the menu. They do have two sizes so you get to choose if you want a small or a large. Other than Bun Bo Hue, they also have plenty of drinks/boba for you to choose from. My friend decided to go for their large while I got their small. The food came fairly quickly and it was hot, which was perfect for that morning. Each bowl comes with a hearty amount of noodles with a mix of toppings that include pigs feet and pigs blood. They also provide you a plate of cabbage and bean sprouts to put in your soup as well as some lemon wedges. The soup base for the Bun Bo Hue was excellent. I've never had it in Vietnam so I don't know what's authentic but out of all the Bun Bo Hue I've tried, this is probably my favorite. It was savory but not too salty and had the perfect amount of umami to it. They also had shrimp paste, fish sauce, and chili oil at the table if you wanted to use them. The prices were very reasonable too for the amount they give you! I think a small was $7.50 and a large was around $10.00. Would definitely recommend! I would gladly come back when I visit Houston again!

Came here for breakfast one morning during our last visit to Houston in mid October. Restaurant opens at 8 and that's around when we went. Not busy but surprisingly already had 1 other table there. They serve ONLY BUN BO HUE, in small ($7.50) and large ($10). Food came fast and HOT, perfect for a cold, chilly morning. Bun bo hue has been a favorite of mine since eating it for years but I've never had it at a place that ONLY specializes in it nor have I ever traveled to Vietnam. Very strong, deep flavor broth with traverse cut pig feet into "slices" than the one I'm used to seeing which is like either the foot or a cut higher than that. Their pig blood was very soft, like pudding, unlike anything I've had before. I love adding shredded cabbage and bean sprouts to my bun bo hue. Adds so much crunchiness ! Definitely can't forget the limes either ! Weirdly I've never had Bun Bo Hue that had slices of cha lua in it. Not complaining though... On the table, there's more shrimp paste (mam tom), fish sauce (nuoc mam), and chili oil at the table if you need. Definitely didn't think it needed more. Their bun bo hue was so flavorful ! Would LOVE to have this again ! Very satisfying. Great portion for the cost. Accepts credit card ! Some question if you can eat something so heavy/oily in the morning... HECK YA ! AND I'D DO IT AGAIN !

We were hungry Sunday night and craved some vietnamese food. Came here on a recommendation. Definitely pretty legit looking and I probably wouldn't have come here on my own. There is no menu, just a small or large size BBH. Was pretty good but I've had better in Houston and near Bellaire. Portions were fair and BBH had a solid, traditional taste.

Bún bò here was good. It was flavorful and the portions are huge for such a good price. I do wish however the broth was more hearty like bone broth. I believe a small bowl is $11 and a gigantic bowl is $13. I was able to speak with the owner and she's super sweet. Worth checking out!

They sell this spicy beef soup. and its pretty standard for most places. so if its not as good as this place you should be open. They open late at some locations too if you have some cravings at night. They bring out he food pretty quick and sometimes i get the small size because the large is super Texas size unless you plan to bring some home to-go. Don't wear White shirt because this the broth might splash on you.

My friend's name is Bun Bo. I know there are a lot of Bun Bo's, so your first thought is... Bun Bo Who? Well, if I throw a Chuong at you, be sure to Duc Chuong. I first ate at the midnite version of this which is a late night spot for delicious Vietnamese soup. It was tasty and extremely cheap and very specialized. This one is as well and they do a great job with the limited soups they're making and selling. Excellent spot, cheap, filling, generous, service isn't bad. Definitely somewhere that I would come back to again in future.

I've heard all the hype around this place and instead of a wide choice of items you've got one thing on the menu and that's Bun Bo Hue although you've got two choices in size, regular or large. First off we are at 9am so this was our breakfast and I didn't want to overdo since we had a big lunch in the plans so I opted for the regular size and that was big enough for me! The bowl had a good amount of rice noodle with sliced beef shank, pork knuckles, sausage chunks and sliced onions. My two knocks were the side veggies of cilantro sprigs, thinly sliced banana blossom, thinly sliced purple cabbage, mint, basil, perilla, and mung bean sprouts looked like the previous days as it was a bit wilted and browning. The other was the broth wasn't piping hot. The service was good and a one lady show who was eating her bowl of noodles next to us. The ambiance is no frills with old cut out pictures from an Asian magazine, of course an Asian calendar, and a big wall with the other items which were boba drinks and Vietnamese coffee. Would I go back again? Well maybe but the choices for Vietnamese and Cambodian food is far and wide on this strip of Asian eateries and strip malls that goes on for miles.

Great hole in the wall type Bun Bo Hue. Large-size is a really big bowl. Broth had lots of flavor and only one type to order, so eliminates the need to decide on what to order.

We came to try their Bun Bo Hue since we heard from social media that they only serve this and nothing else (besides drinks) so I expected that they will master the 1 item on their menu. This is coming from someone that never really got into Bun Bo Hue and wished that this place would change my mind. The bowl came and it was just okay, in my opinion. My other friends who are Bun Bo Hue fans thought that it was okay as well. It wasn't special compared to other places we have been. The broth was kind of watered down in our opinion. The "blood cube" does not give a bloody ironny taste, if you care for that. It was overall just okay. It wasn't bad and good enough if hungry. I was just expecting more flavorful broth and better meats (since we are in Houston). Was just looking for that one thing that makes this place stand out for Bun Bo Hue and it wasn't there. There wasn't a lot of people dining in neither and we went during dinner time.

I came here for a late Bun Bo Hue (Hue-style Beef Noodle Soup) lunch from looking at all the positive Yelp reviews. My initial impressions were not very optimistic, as the eatery was located in an unassuming Little Saigon strip mall, across from the ARVN memorial monument. Additionally, the signage for this place did not stand out, and I had to recheck Yelp to make sure it was still in business! In the end, I did locate the place and decided to go inside. Again, my initial impressions were not positive, as Bun Bo Hue Duc Chuong was clearly a hole-in-the-wall establishment, with a few generic looking chairs, some really flimsy looking tables, and a large bench running through an entire wall. Looking up, I can see the ceiling fans need a good cleaning. I was quickly seated by the hostess, and she asked me what size I wanted--apparently there are no menus and everyone coming in is presumed to be ordering the Bun Bo Hue, which is the only item served. There is a choice of beverages, however, with posters on another wall listing the flavors of boba teas available. I opted for a large bowl of Bun Bo Hue and tap water. The service was sufficient--my hostess quickly brought out the utensils, food, garnishes, and water--and she asked me periodically if I needed more water. The Bun Bo Hue portion was generous. In the large bowl, there is a good amount of cha (which is like a chicken bologna), brisket, blood cubes, and a pork hock. Additionally, the noodles and broth were fragrant and excellent, even though I would prefer it to be a little spicier. Fortunately, there is a diversity of condiments at each table to suit each patron's individual taste preferences. The prices are very reasonable for the portion served! Overall, Bun Bo Hue Duc Chuong is nice a hidden gem in Houston's Little Saigon that serves authentic cuisine, and I will certainly return to satisfy my cravings for Bun Bo Hue!

Accept credit cards! Only open for breakfast/brunch/lunch unfortunately not for dinner. If you love BBH also known as Bun Bo Hue this is the place to be! Sorry they don't offer any other options to ear. Ever since I moved further out of town, I had to settle for mediocre bun bo hue from the pho restaurants. But when I get the chance to make it to dine in or take out, its like mama's cooking. Their broth is always consistent and portion is bigger than average. The coconut juice & nuoc Mat so refreshing and compliments well. My friend got the green Thai tea and she said flavor is good, not too sweet either.

BEST bbh in town. Mike was our server and he gave us great customer service, we were greeted upon arrival, and everything came out quick. We were able to get in and out during lunch time. Nuoc mat was refreshing on this hot summer day. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

I rarely take a trip to Bellaire but I was in the area so I decided to check it out. It was busy but not packed. I came in with my daughter and sat down. The waiter taking orders looked at me but took orders at 2 other tables before heading back to the kitchen. So I got up and ordered at the counter Bc apparently I was ignored. Food came out quick with out jasmine milk boba tea. The tea was good. The bun bo was really good. My 6 yo gave it thumbs up. It's not greasy not spicy although I prefer more spiciness. Overall I loved my bowl

The ambiance and service are also quite nice. I was able to get some work done here and there are a good amount of tables for either chatting or getting work done. It's located in a large shopping complex but that particular corner is concentrated with a bunch of other popular coffee shops and bakeries. It made parking in the general vicinity somewhat difficult. As expected on a weekend, the place was super busy. The inside is very cool and modern looking. I can't speak on the customer service because of an ordering kiosk and minimal interaction with the staff. It's cool and all, but since it was my first time, it would have been nice to ask questions. What this place is known for is phin coffee which is a type of drip coffee that gives you a much higher concentrated brew. They have all sorts of flavors for that but they also have a lighter version called white coffee. I wanted something lighter so I went with the Banana Cream White Coffee. It came out pretty quick and I was on my way in no time. Upon first sip after getting in my car, I almost turned around to get another coffee because the drink was so delicious and I had only went with a small size. This drink was amazing. Yes it was the "lighter" version, but I could still taste the coffee. The banana cream topping was a first for me but who knew banana and coffee combined could be such a delicious flavor. I took my time and savored this drink. If you like matcha, they also have quite a few options for that. They also have teas and espressos. There was a display of different cookies that I later found out was a big seller. Prices are a little high and the lack of human interaction to order was my only complaint. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable cup of coffee. I think I'll even go as far as saying it is one of the better cups of coffee I've had in Houston. I will most definitely be back!

I tried the Biscoff Tiramisu-- while they could work on their presentation (the filling looked messy and slapped on), the taste was quite nice! Sweet, creamy, and the mascarpone filling was light and not too heavy despite being sweet and indulgent. I'm excited to try the other tiramisu varieties :D I like how the tiramisu comes in its own container instead of scooped into a takeout box because it's a lot less messy + prettier when eating it. Service was really friendly and there is self-serve water available too. Lots of tables for two but they were all taken during my visit. There's a little table outside in the shade if you're willing to sit in the heat. Overall, 4.5 stars for the tiramisu-- will be back to try some more! One of my favorite things was how fragrant the space smelled while I waited for my boba. You could tell there was an exceptional tea aroma lingering despite all the cream and sweetness. The place was exceptionally clean for being so busy, and the workers consistently cleaned as they made the drinks, so you knew you could trust the sanitation here. Drink Design - I have to make a separate comment on how CUTE these drinks were. I loved the intentional sticker placement over the lips and the little carrying handle. You could tell they went the extra mile to make these drinks not just flavorful, but an experience in and of themselves. Even their receipt paper felt luxurious. That sounds ridiculous to point out, but the thought behind every aspect of this place is impeccable. High Mountain Pouchong Tea w. Lemon Juice & Mousse (Creamy Lemon Tart) - After all the sugar I had today, this lemony drink hit the spot with its perfect tartness. The cream had bits of lemon zest in it, adding to the aroma. I tried to adjust the sweetness when I ordered and was told it had a built-in sweetness, but if I found it too sweet, they would happily switch it out for another drink. I felt like I was dealing with Amazon's generous return policy--and luckily, the drink was perfect, so no return was needed! Creamy Mango Tart - Literally like the Lemon Tart, but mango. I loved this just as much and really enjoyed the refreshing flavors of BOTH tarts. Instantly a fan favorite. Dong Ding Oolong Tea w. Fresh Milk - Very mild and creamy, almost like a mellow latte. Not my favorite because it was a bit too creamy after everything else I had today. Still, I loved the tea profile and can absolutely see why others would love it.
