My family really likes this place. The food tastes great, is made fresh, and I like the atmosphere. The naan and samosas are delicious and well priced for the amount they give. As a big foodies, we love this place. The meat is always so tender, the flavors are phenomenal and the samosa was great. The sauces that comes with this food is also so delicious...combine all of that with the paratha, red onion and cucumbers and the experience is amazing. I ordered takeout thanks to Covid and tried multiple dishes. Here is my unbiased opinion on the dishes we ordered. Bihari Kabab is a must try (simply excellent). Chicken Tikka is very good. The disappointment was Chicken Karahi. I was really excited to try it but felt it was nothing special. The pieces were unusually small to the point there is barely any meat on them or recognize what part of chicken it is. Food prices are rather high for the quantity served. Will be back again to try other items but will pass on Chicken Karahi. read more

After posting the review below, the owner took full responsibility to ensure we had a better experience and was able to provide us the correct order which was very tasty and in line with what we were originally expecting. I understand mistakes happen, especially on a busy night, and appreciate the owner trying to make things right. --- I had to wait 1 hour for two rolls. What's worse is that when I placed my order over phone they hung up without telling me how long it was going to take, and then when I showed up they couldn't even find my ticket. While waiting, there were multiple people looking upset asking how much longer their order was going to be. When I asked them to just refund my order they looked clueless and basically told me they couldn't do that. When I got home I realized they gave me the wrong type of roll. One star for the chutneys, and also because I have to. 1. Terrible customer service. Let me start off by mentioning that I am visibly pregnant. My family and I decided to check out the Express on a Sunday afternoon after being huge fans of their Devon location for years. One register was open where a staff member was taking a huge catering order for literally 48 mins while I stood there waiting for him. Finally, one of the uncles who was standing around idly decided to open the register to take my order once I started complaining (he had told me earlier that the second register he was now operating was not working). 2. If you order grill items, they come with nothing but a few slices of onions and cucumbers. You have to order breads separately. Heard a few others complain about that and heard something about a "new business model"...lol ok then! 3. There is no baby changing station in the washroom (which btw is mandated by the state of IL). Again, being very pregnant I had to sit on the floor to change my toddler's diaper. Finally, will not be returning to this location. ***Responding to the owners response to my review: no one ever apologized or explained anything to us. I would never eat at the Naperville location again. We went for iftar, arrived 30+ minutes prior to Maghreb. We did not receive our food until 1.5 hrs after Maghreb. They were rude and dismissive of us as customers. We did our best to stay respectful. When we asked if we could order side items such as fries to hold us over, the owner dismissed us, said no it's not worth it and that the food will be out soon. (We proceeded to wait 1.5 hrs after he made this statement). The food was undercooked. The place was not even full, at most 10-12 people were present. read more

My family and I would travel from over an hour away to eat authentic Pakistani food from here. Most our visits were good food wise. Although The service was never good. Poor customer service at front desk and servers even worse barely checking on table. Our worst experience was the last time we went. We were hungry and drove an hour plus for some chicken wings and tikka. We ordered two orders of wings and asked for it to be made extra spicy. We got our food and it was barely spicy with any flavoring or masala. We were extremely let down and kindly called to let them know about the mistake they had made. The worker said ok let me talk to chef. She came back on the phone to tell us that chef made our chicken just fine and that there was nothing wrong with it since the chef said so and that there is nothing they can do to make it right. I asked if we can at least get one order made correctly, but they were unwilling to make it right. Instead employee kept repeating that chef said it was made correctly when it clearly wasn't. We weren't even asking for our money back. Big let down. I own multiple restaurants and if anyone of our clients is even slightly unsatisfied for any reason we do whatever to make it right for our guests- the way it should be. Very disappointed in their customer service. According to the website, they open at 10:00 am. I called them at 11:40 am to place an order to be picked up after 12. The man on the phone refused to take my order because he said they don't take orders before 12. Really?? He told me to call back in 20 min when it's after 12. As a person who is hosting a luncheon and is busy with the last minute details, the last thing I need to do is call back to place an order. Especially since the day before, they said for me to call them the day of the event since my order is not a large one. Needless to say, I called Sara's in Naperville and they said my order would be ready in 20 minutes! Food is phenomenal, much like their location in the city. Only problem is that they are clearly understaffed, just like their Devon street location used to be when they first opened. We waited more than 40 minutes for a relatively small order while the table next to us was waiting for more than an hour. Hopefully they get their staffing to the optimal level so that they can handle their busy periods. That said, no place comes close in terms of quality of grill items. Four of us went there yesterday. Food was great little spicy for us. We entered in, there were 5 people behind the counter, couple of cooks, and helpers and a receptionist. Waited 2 minutes no body greeted and said welcome or may we help you. Finally one of us walked to the counter and asked how it works. Customer service needs to welcome guest and ask them what they can help instead of staying closed lips. We will go again and hope the customer service is as good as food. read more
