Kabob King Grill is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. It may look like a small place from the outside but surprisingly it's pretty roomy inside. We were greeted and seated right away. They were very busy both in the restaurant and with carryouts! They serve all halal meats and the they are very fresh! We tried the Kabob King Platter which offered generous portions of tandoori & tikka chicken, malai boti, seekh kabob and Bihari kabob. All the halal meats were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Bihari kabob was plated nicely with the string taken out. Which if you know Bihari kabobs this is a very nice touch that you don't have to do at the table! The accompanying paratha's were made fresh with flour and paired up perfectly with all the meats! We then ordered the speciality King Kabob Kadai Chicken (served in a piping hot Karahi). That was delicious with the pieces of meat cooked nicely in a fresh made gravy and boiling hot to the table. Both entrees were winners in our books for THE BEST karahi and kabobs in the SW suburbs! One of the best kabob places in the area and I'm upset it too me awhile to dine here. Now that I found it, I'll make sure it's part of my regular rotation. Ordered a quick dinner of garlic naan, butter chicken and chicken malai boti. Both entrees are winners! The butter chicken included a very nice order of chicken vs sauce ratio. Too many places are charging quite a bit for 4-5 pieces of chicken with tons of sauce. Not here! The grilled chicken was breast meat that was cooked to perfection and juicy! Decided to give this new Naperville Indian Restaurant a try. I Ordered the Grill Combo with variety of mixed meat. Chicken Tikka & Tandoori Chicken was very tasty. The Beef Kababs(Bihari & Seekh) was very average. Restaurant was clean with good atmosphere. Service was also good. The grilled meats are all gluten free. Would have rated higher however they were not flexible in substituting the chapati bread for the plain nan in which they were equal in price( I would have gladly paid extra if given the option). We decided to pick up some food from Kabab King on the way to my parent's house. This place is located in the same plaza as Duck Donuts. We only got takeout, but the interior looked very nice; relatively upscale on the inside despite a dinky plaza and parking lot outside. Service was limited to my picking up the food and paying, but it was a friendly interaction. We got two orders of butter chicken. This review is based only on their butter chicken, not any of their grilled items. I guess I'll just say that it was different. It wasn't the same type of butter chicken I've had elsewhere. It wasn't sweet. Very different flavor. The flavors I got were mac & cheese mixed with turmeric. But it wasn't bad. It tasted interesting and was nice and creamy. 4.5 stars. I got four different items on the menu. The garlic naan is really amazing, would recommend that although it's very pricy. Chili chicken was not good, JK does it way better. One chicken dish (in the karai) that we had was a lot of bone in meat without much bone, and it was the most expensive item, which was a little disappointing. This is so unfortunate! We ordered from this place for the first time. Two orders of butter chicken ($17 each), naan and a goat rice dish. First, in what world do you order a dish that is usually eaten with rice, that costs $17, is pretty small, definitely not a large, and it comes with no rice! First shock! We open the butter chicken and it is flooded with oil! Second shock! You'll see in the photo. You can't even mix this up to get a velvety consistency, which butter chicken is supposed to have. I try not to judge a book by its cover, and we've already spent the money, so I'll make rice and I'll eat this greasy concoction.
