We requested a quiet room and were placed upstairs all the way at the back, and we were pleased. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathtub had trouble draining, so we kept that short and sweet. No one to report that to next day upon checkout as you just leave your room keys in a bowl on the counter and that's that. No wifi, but our room had a dvd/vcr player, and there is an impressive selection of movies for guests to borrow. We went with a nostalgic Ewok Adventure on VHS, and let me tell you it was a solid choice. Breakfast downstairs included decent coffee, hot veggie quiche, english muffins with cream cheese, and blueberry pound cake. A nice touch, especially since there was nowhere in town open for us to get breakfast. I guess we'll have to come back to Winthrop over a weekend to experience the town at its fullest. I wouldn't mind staying at Chewuch Inn & Cabins again when I do.

While it rained west of the mountains, it was crisp and sunny in Winthrop. The cabin was nicely furnished with everything we needed plus more! We especially enjoyed the jetted bathtub and the comfortable bed. The kitchen was well supplied and included spices and new looking dishes and pots and pans. The cabin is nestled in trees so it seems private. The propane stove kept things toasty warm. We were able to come because our dog was a welcome guest. We will definitely be back again!

They have a nice seating area in the open outside that has shade and seats. I spent a couple hours there just reading a book there. Staff was very friendly when I checked out. It's within walking distance to a pizzeria and a convenience store. My total tab was a little over $100. The larger rooms and cabins obviously cost more.

My sister and I enjoyed swimming there it was fun. Locker is available for a $1. There are 2 hot tubs available along with sauna and a steam room. We found steam room too cold though. I thought we got a room for a cabin, but stayed in a room since there was none available. At least they had microwave and a fridge to use. I suggest bring your portable range, frying pan and utencils in case you don't get to stay in cabin. Also bring your own sandwiches since there's only one restaurant next to the souvenir shop. The scenery around the area is truly mountain beauty with plenty of hiking trails. The service from the staff was always friendly and prompt. The owners daughter has her little kids unsupervised, running around the property bothering guests. I truly believe this is a concern that will be brought to somebody's attention. Upon arrival, me and my spouse went to check in to our "cabin" but we were met with a swarm of wasps right by the front door! Trash cans overflowing, unhelpful employees, kids already bothering us, pool was so dirty.  I asked for assistance with the television in my room and was told somebody would be right there to help me but nobody ever showed up. I am confident me and my partner made the right choice by never going there again.  I would not recommend Kelly's Resort.

The changing of the autumn colors made the perfect setting for the Lodge. The lodge itself is wonderful and has everything that you will need for a great family gathering! The rooms were all spacious and very comfortable. Something for everyone to do, whether you just want to snuggle in and read a book or hike around Lake Wenatchee. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook fantastic meals. Just a 20-minute drive into Leavenworth where you'll find a quaint Bavarian village. Margaret, the owner, was a joy to deal with. Looking forward to our next stay at this wonderful Lodge!
