We could tell right away how knowledgeable, experienced and compassionate they are as animal lovers and caregivers. While our family was away on vacation, Liz went above and beyond in looking after our boys. We received regular updates complete with photos and videos showing our boys looking happy, comfortable and well cared for. Liz was diligent in adhering to the feeding and medication schedules for both dogs, and provided them with affection and care throughout her visits. When we returned, the house was tidy, our dogs were calm and content, and we could enjoy a stress-free reunion knowing they had been in the most capable hands. They know how to handle dogs, the environment is structured and supervised; not just dogs in a giant room unsupervised. She gets real care and attention. She runs up to Priscilla and Daisy with kisses and I can go to work knowing she's safe and having an amazing time. I also love that they do cute activities like pool time and post Instagram stories throughout the day so I can see what's happening. The first couple times we used Sitter4Paws we had a really great experience with the sitters that were assigned to our senior, diabetic cat. Last year, my mother unexpectedly passed away, and our regular cat sitter was unavailable for half of the trip home. We booked Sitter4Paws the second half of the trip, and let them know about the circumstances and requested sitters that had seen Jodie before so that we could rest easy during a very difficult time. Of course we know that can't always be accommodated due to scheduling, so for the first visit a new sitter came to see Jodie. On the evening of my mother's passing, we got a text from Sitter4Paws that the sitter felt he may have made a mistake with our cat's insulin dosage. It was revealed to us that instead of giving her her normal 2.25 unit dose, he gave her 22.5 units - ignoring the taped off/labeled syringes, our explicit written instructions in the app, and additional photos/diagrams of what a full syringe should look like. Thank god he realized his mistake, otherwise our cat would have slowly died alone in our apartment - and this would have happened immediately after losing my mom. I understand mistakes can happen, but the fact that a sitter was uncertain with potentially life-threatening medication if administered improperly and didn't even think to reach out to us first was quite shocking. Sitter4Paws took full responsibility, admitted their mistake, said they would take steps to make sure something like this would never happen again, and covered her 4 day ER stay, but it never should have gotten to that point. Again - we did have great sitters who took care of our cat wonderfully - but the uncertainty of who you can get especially with medication involved means that we can no longer recommend this service with confidence.

The staff assured me that the groomer is very patient and good with active, reluctant dogs. The grooming was completed beautifully without incident.

She has been consistently exceptional, and you can tell she really listens and cares. Just incredibly knowledgeable, patient with all of my questions (even when I have a lot of follow-ups), and has always taken the time to address any concerns I've had. She's made a huge difference in my experience here and is a big part of why I trust leaving my dog in their care. Also, Damaris and Katie deserve their flowers too! They also work at the front and are always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their energy also leaves you confident in dropping your cub off and going about your day. Most handlers in the yard have also been wonderful from what I've seen. At the end of the day, this is the only place I fully trust with my dog. I feel confident he's safe here, and while I appreciate having cameras available, I don't feel the need to constantly check them, which says a lot.

The sitters who watched my cat took detailed notes and lots of photos, there was great detail in the reports. The sitters followed my instructions to a tee. We had an issue with my lockbox but they were so gracious and kind as we worked through it together. They spoiled him in his last days. On the final day it was reported my kitty had thrown up. When I got home he had not improved and I brought him to the vet. Unfortunately, his cancer had spread and I had to say goodbye. This had nothing to do with the care VPS gave Archer. In fact, I think the care they gave him helped him wait for me. When I am ready for a furry friend again, I will be using this company and will recommend them to all my friends.

I panicked. I kept thinking I made the wrong decision because I had several business trips planned, and several days at work where I just couldn't be at home to let him out for a potty break and keep consistency with his time to play, rest, and potty train. I heard about Valley Pet Sitting years ago when I had my first precious boy, but although I called them, it turned out I didn't need them because I had family that could pitch in when I was away. They literally saved my life with my new puppy. They come to the house and give me a play-by-play of everything they did with my puppy (including taking pictures and videos of him playing in the backyard with them) on their app. They also use a Gio tag so you can see where they are when you pooch goes for a walk or just plays in the backyard. The sitters are kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. They asked me every detail about how I take care of him and what's important to me in my home to make sure they don't leave anything disturbed. They even called to make sure that it was OK for him to be on the couch when he made a decision to take a nap during a visit. They are exceedingly responsive and reasonably price for the quality of care and peace of mind I get from their support.
