One of my greatest fears has been trusting the safety of my dog with a dog walker. I have had some awful experiences. Previous walkers have returned my previous dog with injuries. They have taken her in their car to some other location to hike without asking me. They have flaked out and forgotten to show up. On one occasion, they have assumed there was to be no walk because it was raining which left me gobsmacked. They have lost my apartment keys even from the lockbox to my door which I can't see how they managed that. Fast forward to a year after my previous dog had passed. I found a wonderful new dog companion unexpectedly at an adoption event at a Farmer's Market in North Hollywood. I remember thinking I have only a few days to find and vet a new walker. Doggie's Angels were recommended to me by a co-worker. I initially called the walker they knew directly l. That person did not service my area of town but recommended Adam from the same organization. She talked him up so much , but I still had my doubts. Quick phone calls with the owners of the company followed by a meeting with Adam and he was my new walker. I can't tell you what a relief it is to have someone who I believe truly cares and adores my dog and loves walking her. I hear from my neighbors how amazing he is with her. He walks her solo in the neighborhood and makes sure she is safe at all times. I have been getting regular reports from the local nosey busybodies that Adam is really attentive and friendly with my dog. I admit I am biased and think my dog would put anybody in a good mood. But I can tell from his regular updates and photos every day that he really enjoys his walks with her as much as much as she does. I rarely give Yelp reviews, but felt I should for him. I was recommended to use him and I want to pay that success forward. If you live anywhere near the Valley Village Park and need a dog walker, Adam is your guy. We have used Doggie's Angels to take care of our evolving 3 Boxer dog pack for 6+ years. June 30, 2024. We just returned from a 23-day vacation. Dana, Amber and their team are phenomenal. When I was visiting Los Angels we needed to bring our boy Lucky to doggie daycare for a day/night while we visited Disneyland. I went on yelp and I'm so happy we found Doggies Angels! When we talked over the phone they were so nice and accommodating. They reassured me my baby boy was going to be in good hands. They also were able to take him in for daycare/boarding last minute for the nights I needed. It's always scary picking out a new daycare because I always want to make sure Lucky is being well taken care of. Most importantly, I never want my dog in a crate for any period of time and they're cage-free facility. After speaking with Dana and meeting her in person I felt completely comfortable leaving him in her hands. I also had a lot of special requests with Lucky's diet and Doggies Angels was willing to accommodate me, even cook meat for him. Dana took her two feet promptly out of the pedicure bath she had just dipped them into when I called her to inform her my dog was dying (after he was sent home from the vets office a couple hours earlier post rattlesnake bite that they treated and felt was "minor"). She was at my home minutes later, kept him comforted in the back of my car while I drove us to the animal ER hospital where he died shortly thereafter. To say she was an integral and loving being to all 3 of my dogs she cared for over the years (and to me) would be the understatement of the year. Dana and Amber at Doggies Angels are the Fariy Dogmothers you didn't know your dog needed. I've never felt more at ease leaving my little pup with someone. They provided a very detailed questionnaire and health intake form before he began boarding so they were all up to speed on his specific temperament and health/dietary needs, and then I received multiple updates and photos daily of my pup having what looked like tons of fun! He loves to cuddle so he got very dedicated snuggle time with Dana and I knew he was never alone or bored. They take care of a small but fun sized group of pups so seeing photos and videos of the pups playing and lounging together, and with Dana and Amber, really put my mind at ease while I was traveling on business. They were also incredibly flexible with scheduling when I had to extend my work trip by a day, and they were very helpful and dedicated with his dietary needs.
