FIRST TIME VISIT!…read more Woohoo! Been looking for chili cheese fries and happened upon a review for this place boasting fries with a homemade chili so we HAD TO stop in tonight. THE LOCATION: on the very end of a string of businesses in a strip mall that I've never been in before, so that was cool. Lots of parking, that'll never be an issue. And right off the 410. THE MENU: Burgers, dogs, Mexi-style munchies and a variety of frozen dessert-type items like shakes, frozen fruit concoctions and Italian ice. THE STAFF: I wasn't overwhelmed with a warm welcome and smiles, at least from the guys. Lol! They should really work on that. There was a sweet gal who ran out our food orders and she was great. THE FOOD: I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich deluxe with tots and a sweet tea. The grilled chicken was juicy and cooked well and the bun was lovely, slightly sweet and toasted. Overall, the sandwich could've used more flavor, like a creamy bbq spread and cheddar instead of the "Swiss" cheese that tasted more like American cheese. But overall, 7/10. The tots were extra crispy and the guy who took my order didn't take heed to my request for ranch. I was too lazy to get up again so I settled for ketchup. The sweet tea was nicely sweet and fresh, I'll be sipping this in my dreams. The hubby ordered the bacon cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and an Oreo cookie shake. The burger looked good and he ate it quick, so there's that. This guy can EAT so it surprised us both when he slowed down fast after eating that burger. Lol! He kept saying how filling it was, but then he also killed a large shake before the food arrived, so there's that. He ate most of his chili cheese fries, leaving me a few bites to sample. Not bad. I order a Coco Haven frozen dessert to go and omg is this thing delightful! Vanilla ice cream and coconut Italian ice (?) with a blue snow cone-like syrup drizzled throughout. I loved the texture of what I believed to be Italian ice. Smooth and flaky, a perfect icy dessert. OVERALL: decent eatery, the hubby said we can go back (LOL!) Shockerrrrr! But I recommend the staff tries harder to make customers feel welcomed and comfortable. The next visit will be telling.

It would have been great to have him stop by the table at least once before happy hour ending to remind us that the happy hour is almost near close what we'd like to get in another drink order....or even just come back by our table to see how we were doing! All together I think we were there for three hours mainly waiting on Matt. Meanwhile he was spotted several times on his phone or hangout at the front. The food itself was good, and the drinks were enjoyable once they arrived. However, attentive and timely service plays a major role in the overall dining experience, and the delays overshadowed the quality of what we ordered. We left feeling frustrated and disappointed rather than impressed. I would consider returning to The Esquire to give the restaurant another chance, since the food showed promise. However, I would specifically request a different server next time. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously because with more attentive service, the restaurant could provide a much better experience.

The grilled veggies this go around were onions, mushrooms, broccoli, zucchini, red and green bell peppers and a couple of jalapeño slices. I remarked to the server that they should lose the bell peppers and beef up the broccoli and zucchini. He says it kind of depends on who is cooking as to what veggies you get. Hmmmm. I also got an order of curly fries loaded with their chili and cheese. For me, these did not have to go as HARD as they did. The chili they are using at Dogfather is seriously good, with a slight tang and a good amount of spice. It thrills but does not take away from your meal with too much heat. Very tasty. My only feedback is that Dogfather needs a larger space! There's a good size outside seating area, but for times like today when it's raining people need some coverage. They're doing it right and the crowds want to come! As I have stated this is a local favorite. If you live nearby, make it a regular spot. If you live in San Antonio, do yourself a favor and make a trip over at least sometimes. If you like hot dogs you won't go wrong.

10/10 would recommend it if you're going for the long term but if you are looking to buy it for the price of the house you could probably find something that is a good price and a little more expensive to rent it for the short run but you could always rent a car and buy it in a couple months or even just a year and rent a house out and you can get it back in a few years or even if it's just for the long term you could buy a car for the short time it takes you a year or so and you could get it back to the next couple months or you can buy a new house you could get the house and rent a car for you can buy it for the next few years or rent a new house for read more

My husband and I tried Bunz Burger for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious! Steve made a fantastic recommendation that made our meal even better. The weather was beautiful, making it the perfect day for a great burger. Initially, I was a little disappointed because they were out of Dr Pepper, but Steve went above and beyond by crossing the street to buy one for us without even telling us. My recent visit to Bunz, the burger bar, left me thoroughly impressed. The casual atmosphere sets the perfect tone for a relaxed dining experience. I have to say, their Mushroom Bunz Burgers are nothing short of amazing. I tried the mushroom burger, and it felt like I had entered burger heaven.
