This place may be a new favourite hangout. I wish I could appreciate coffee, because theirs seems to be really choice. That withstanding, I opted for a hot apple cider and then a chai latte, both of which hit the spot. Also had a morning glory muffin, which- despite having coconut in it- was purty darn tasty. As for the space, it's a converted bungalow house, so the side room (with about 7 tables) was probably once a dining room. Didn't use the WiFi, but they at least offer it. I stayed until close to closing time and never felt rushed by the staff to finish my beverage and conversation and GTFO. They also offer a 'punch card'- with double punches on Mondays and $3 lattes on Tuesdays. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a nice warm (or cold) beverage and a quiet place to have some good conversation. read more

I'm a complete coffee snob (I homeroast, have my own espresso setup, etc.), and this place knocks my socks off. I started buying coffee from them when they were just a roaster, before the cafe opened, and it's only gotten better. Plus, I live down the road, and I love having a place on my way to work (if I'm not running too late!) to get a cappuccino that will satisfy my tastes. All the noms are great too! My special favourite is the humongous chocolate chip cookie, which makes a great breakfast when paired with my cappuccino. It's great having a cafe in town that takes the craft of brewing excellent coffee so seriously. read more

Had a lovely coffee date here with my Grandma. The building is adorable and has a lot of charm. The chairs weren't the most comfy and wobbled a bit, but it's something I can easily look past. I stumbled upon this coffee shop while driving around and I am so thankful I did. From the outside it looks like a small house, but when you walk inside you will be surprised by how many small tables they have to sit at. The coffee was amazing and I actually bought a bag to have at home. The staff was friendly and helped with recommendations as well. They roast their own beans and they are quite delicious. I was out on a coffee hunt....my machine has past away! Riding down Central and noticed this nice little place. Didn't know it has been here for almost a year, but super,super cool. I decided to sit awhile and enjoy the space! I love to see my food, drinks being created right in front of me. Very sweet staff and they have punch cards that double on Monday's. Absolutely world class coffee. Buona roasts frequently, and is not afraid to publish their roasting dates, so you know you're getting fresh, quality beans. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. If there is small line, be aware that you'll have to wait a bit to get your brew... but it's well worth it. Best coffee in Augusta, and I'm pretty sure I've tried it all. There's a quaint room that functions well for studying, though you'll probably need some earplugs or headphones. The shop offers some baked goods and a small lunch menu, but I can't speak much to those... just that I haven't had anything I didn't like. I'm just enamored with their coffee. It's incredible. My summer go-to is an iced americano. It's a little strong, but not bitter. Add cream to taste, but be sure not to overwhelm the coffee. I'm going to stop now because I sound crazy. This quaint little coffee shop is a delicious discovery in Augusta! I ordered a soy hazelnut latte and a slice of their homemade bacon and mushroom quiche. Both items were so tasty! This place is amazing! My mother and I were on our way to Athens and stopped in for a little afternoon pick-me-up. My mom got an iced red eye and I had to try the southern sunset, both of which were amazing. For snacks we shared a slice of the quiche and a peanut butter bar, and they both had high quality flavor. One of the best things about our visit was getting to meet one of the owners who was extremely friendly and made the stop feel wonderfully like having a cup of coffee at their home. The inside of the shop is nicely decorated and has sort of a lounge area and then a room with more of a cafe space. This is one of our favorite coffee shops we have ever been to and definitely plan to stop by again the next time we are in Augusta. Happily caffeinated, indeed! read more

So I can't actually speak to their coffee yet--but this lovely café gets AT LEAST 5 out of 5 stars just for customer service. I showed up yesterday and asked for a decaf latte. The young man behind the counter (whose name I didn't catch) went to make it, but the machine with the decaf beans jammed or something, and they couldn't make it work. He was very apologetic and nice while telling me that he wouldn't be able to make my decaf latte. Since I couldn't have the caffeine I said, okay, I'll just do an Italian soda. To which he responded, again really nicely, that that was a big price difference. I told him to go ahead and consider it a tip but he wasn't having it. He not only gave me back the difference, along with a DELICIOUS Italian soda--seriously, best I've ever had--but also filled up an entire punch card for me so that next time I go in, I can get my latte free for the (tiny) inconvenience. I'm all about customer service so this was amazing. I have no doubt that their coffee will be just as good as their employees are. I'll definitely be back, and I'll update my review when I've had their coffee! read more

I love this place! Went here with girlfriends and the vibe/hospitality of this independent little gem is incredible. Best Baristas eva! You want sweet? They have that? Savory? Yep, get the pimento cheese sandwich. Their peanut butter bars are amazing. It's just a warm, welcoming and little cafe. I'm so happy Augusta has this.
