I have been to this location about 4 times now. I called and texted to book appts. Very easy and convenient to txt and book tour sauna time! This is like a hot box, it's not the kind of sauna you pour water over rocks. I love that they offer essential oils and it makes the experience feel like you're in a spa. You have your own private cabin to sweat in for 35 minutes. I always grab a couple extra towels to wipe down while I'm in there, and be sure to bring a water to hydrate! This establishment is clean and from the moment you walk in the energy and aroma is peaceful, calming, and pleasant. Jeanette and staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. These are clean full spectrum infrared saunas that may be made out of cedar I forgot to ask. These are two person saunas in a private room where you can have privacy. The sauna will shut off automatically so no worries if you relax and rest in there. You will hear a beep when it shuts off. I love this spot. It's a vibe. First you can text them to set up an appt. I love this aspect. I and many times last minute trying to fit it into my schedule, and the staff is always great about texting back-and-forth to make something work for you. I couldn't recommend this place enough. My experience here, from booking my appointment to leaving my appointment was a 10/10. Jeannette truly made my entire process so welcoming, warm and amazing. This place was clean and organized. First session is $25, then after it's $30. They do offer packages which is great. I was told that during the winter/cold season it can get hard to book appointments although they do have a waitlist. During the summer though you can just walk in and they have more availability. The owner and staff are all very friendly and are helpful with any questions you may have. My husband found it and has also purchased his own session package. The spa is clean, and well equipped. There is plenty of parking space on the street or in the back of the building. They bring you to your own room where there is the infared sauna. You get to pick your own scented oil. I picked Eucalyptus. You get 30 minutes and are able to open the door when needed. I was surprised to know I could sweat in certain places. Take a water bottle because you will be thirsty. The owners customer service is very poor. I lost an item here that is very sentimental to me and important as I can't see without them. She has been nothing but defensive instead of being helpful or even handling it with kindness she instead told me let this be a lesson to you. Her other staff are super sweet and I don't want to deter you from going, but warn you that she's not as loving as the act that she puts on. It's all for show. When I went to look again she then started to yell at me and tell me I was yelling at her and that she was going to call the police. Her worker was there however and mentioned that she understood me and would feel the same way as I would. She escalated what would be a simple situation of someone losing something to making it about herself. She's a white woman who wanted to call the cops on a brown girl in this climate when nothing was done nor anyone in danger to even get the cops called on. I came across this business while browsing on Yelp and I am SO happy I did. I submitted a request online and someone reached out to me via text the next morning. The texting was super convenient. I was able to schedule, confirm, and get all of my questions answered all through text. They even sent me a remind so I wouldn't forget my appointment. If you are fully booked, you still need to pick up the phone and tell your clients; if you hate to pick up a call, then do an online option for your clients to check appointments, don't be rude to your customer just because your store is fully booked you hang up on them instead of talk and explaining the situation. read more

Having worked in Burbank for almost 2 years now, I have really embraced supporting the local independent businesses in the area. Booking sweats is super easy, text or call and there is always free street parking out front. Infrared saunas are the real deal, folks; I have tried infrared wraps as well, but the sauna brings a much deeper type of internal heat and sweat. The entire place smells like soothing essential oils as soon as you walk in, and are lead by a perfectly lovely staff member to you your own private oasis. Each area is impeccable clean and welcoming. Settings for the sauna heat and light are customization to your needs, I usually do 155 but if I'm feeling brave up to 160 and the red light special always does my body good. You get your choice of essential oil to be defused in the sauna, and they even have DoTerra blends (everyone can use a little OnGuard right now). I switch it up between that OnGuard, Tea Tree, Lavender and Orange. I usually bring a book or a not super expensive pair of bluetooth headphones to stream a podcast. They have large & small towels for use and Kagan water for the hydrating; what else could you possibly need!? I have strong personal beliefs surrounding diet culture and fat phobia (if this peaks your interest, check out the Health At Every Size movement), so I try to stay away from phrases such as "detox & cleanse" (hello, aka you mean our natural circulatory system?); but a good sweat in an infrared sauna really makes me feel energized and reinvigorated afterwards. I am an avid weight lifter and now spin enthusiast; so getting a deep stretch when my muscles are warmed in the sauna really helps with recovery. I cannot recommend Burbank Infrared Sauna enough, especially in the winter months where it is just a tad too crispy for my liking. It will truly warm you to the bones. They often run specials for packages, so I always keep a look out during the holidays and new year. read more

Jeannette and her staff are just the best. They have plenty of availability if you can book a couple days ahead (esp for the weekend). It's more free during the week and especially midday during the week. You come in, pick an oil to diffuse, pick a temp from 155-170 and an LED color. Then spend 35 mins luxuriating in a nice spacious private sauna (that will fit a friend too, if you want). They have plenty of towels to towel off. Bring your own water (or buy some). They have a nice solo bathroom but no shower. The facility is clean and welcoming, super cute, and the price is great. Enjoy enjoy! Such a nice way to pamper yourself. read more
