Once Dr. Sedler came in they got right to work measuring my gums and checking all of my teeth. They worked together like lyrics to a song... Once they were finished Dr. Sedler explained what the numbers meant...The good news...My gums are okay. We will watch them periodically to make sure they do not get worse... Dr. Sedler was super nice and easy to talk to. I recently had gum recession surgery with Dr. Sedler, and I cannot recommend her enough. I was so…read morenervous about the experience, but from start to finish, the entire experience exceeded my expectations (if that's even possible for a gum recession procedure!). She has a gift for communication -- she explained everything thoroughly so I always felt informed, while at the same time shielding me from unnecessary worry during the procedure. She talked me through the entire procedure in such a calm and reassuring way that I felt comfortable the whole time. Her assistant was equally wonderful -- so kind, attentive, and supportive throughout the process. Together, they made me feel genuinely cared for as a patient, not just another appointment. I was having SO MUCH PAIN which happened suddenly and I was no way going to wait for my usual dentist. Dr. Nakashyan was gentle when he administered the injection prior to removing my tooth. I had to see him several times and each visit was short and quick to the point. He placed the bone graft with ease. Once it's time, I will see my usual dentist for the implant. I would highly recommend Dr. Nakashyan. He was patient and very professional. Nice touch of calling the patient that same evening after the procedure. My usual dentist does that as well. VERY nice office with comfy seats and good magazines. The staff is nice as well. The gals at the reception area are pretty nice as well. They take Delta Dental. Plenty of free street parking. The post-op instructions were straightforward and Dr. Waki even called the evening of my surgery to see how I was feeling.. Dr. Waki is easy- going, great to work with, and very informative. I would recommend him to anyone . I'm deducting one star due to the billing side of the practice. It's worth noting they collect payment the day of any visit/procedure. It seems they charge based on a projected fee covered by insurance. This is a minor inconvenience. I payed the projected amount, and my insurance covered more than projected, so I'm owed the over amount. I'm sure I will receive payment but it's been a month and still nothing. Not sure if they give credit on my next visit or I'll receive a check in the mail. I'll call the front desk to see what's what. I wish they just waited to see what the insurance covers before billing like my dentist.

The surgery alone was estimated to cost around $29,000, not including the cost of orthodontic treatment afterward. When I came to Dr. Yamada for a second opinion, she took the time to carefully evaluate my case and developed her own treatment plan. Instead of immediately recommending surgery, she found a way to successfully straighten my teeth without it. This tooth had already gone through two root canals, and another dentist recommended replacing the crown. Instead, Dr. Dino resolved the infection with an antibiotic gum injection, followed by dental hygiene care two weeks later. Now it's May, and my tooth feels healthy and fresh again. No more odor, no more infection, and he saved my crown. The hygienist, Kimberly. Her excellent care truly enhanced the results of Dr. Dino's treatment. For someone reason I had a $400 copay and after still got billed $40. When I asked for a price break down, the front desk lady just said "it's a copay." Not helpful at all. Anyways, fast forward to my procedure day, Dr. Mizin couldn't find my vein and dug into my arm, shrugged, and just said oh let me try again. It was a cold response. He did not warn me that he would cut the muscles in my mouth. I found out two weeks after at my post op. I couldn't open my mouth bigger then 1/2 inch. He put his fingers in my mouth to force it open. I said it was painful and to stop. A month later and I can now open my mouth normally, but have excruciating headaches. Would not recommend.
