Dr Raffi is the best oral surgeon ever. i never give reviews, but he deserves it. i thought i may need an implant, but he did all the right steps (take x-ray, CT scan), sat me down and explained the scans / why i don't need one, but that we should watch and monitor. i appreciate it so much when healthcare providers are thorough in their explanations so that i can understand what's happening. he was also very kind and honest - he didnt say i needed it just to do a procedure! his staff is also kind and helpful. if i can help it, i will ask to only be referred to this office for oral surgery needs. read more

Had surgery with Dr. Armen to remove bad scar tissue and a metal plate from a jaw surgery I had approximately 4 years ago. They did everything they could so my insurance would approve the surgery. All I have to say is that these people are legitimate angels- their work ethic is outstanding, they genuinely care about their clients the staff is very comforting they answered all the questions I had before and even during anesthesia, the procedure was done quickly and was very gentle. I felt completely comfortable and the doctor really customized the surgery to my specific issues. He also did a scan of my jaw before and after the application because he is passionate about his work ethic and his customers. Here is an update with my experience of scheduling and having my teeth pulled. When I first made my schedule it was on the 1st of February 2021. I told the front desk that my oncologist wants me to have the procedure done as soon as possible so that I can continue with my meds. The staff was understanding and added a note to have me go in sooner if anyone cancels. I got a call Wednesday saying that they have an opening because someone canceled which would be on the next day, Thursday the 14th. To tell you the truth, I was not expecting to get this call. The front desk went over and beyond as they did exactly what they promised. They were happy to call as well and did it with great professionalism. When I went in, the front desk knew who I was and knew my exact procedure. They confirmed it with me to make sure it was the correct procedure and that all charges were correct. Before I went to the office, I also made a few changes. Instead of having 5 teeth pulled, I asked for 3 and that I didn't want to be put to sleep. They were okay with that. When I saw Dr. Margossian, he also confirmed what was to be done and also noted that I would just get the local anesthesia ( which is just the numbing). He said that if I felt pain to raise my hand and that he would give me more shots. This message was also passed on to me by the helper. When he pulled my teeth, I can honestly say that I felt no pain. The procedure didn't take long. Me waiting to get numb took more time. I am pain tolerant so I didn't feel the need for more shots. The only part that hurt me more was getting the shots but that is expected. Dr. Margossian is a true professional and did his job clean and quick. I will wait sometime before I go in and get the wisdom teeth on the other side pulled. I had some pain after but Dr. Margossian gave prescribed pain killers and antibiotics to prevent infection. I haven't taken the really strong pain killers yet as the pain was only on the first day and I haven't really felt anything on the second day. He was good at explaining what to eat or what kinds of food to eat in order to avoid extra bleeding. He also did explain to ice the area when I get home, his staff also did the same. I don't like the going to the dentist and never been to an oral surgeon. This was my first experience with a Oral Surgeon and I must say that I was not disappointed at all.The staff and doctor listen to my concerns and did what was in my favor and at the same time they got the job done. Due to an ongoing issue with cancer, I had to have eleven (11!) of my back teeth removed. Not a fun thing to start with. On top of that, I really only have one fear left in life and that's the dentist. Mainly due to some things that happened to me as a kid. So it was a pretty traumatic experience just walking through the doors. However, Dr. Margossian was absolutely and exactly what I needed. He was VERY respectful towards my situation. He assessed both my medical and psychological situations quite effectively and was very calming and worked with me to help me resolve the situation with as little stress as was possible. He got very creative and when it all finally came down to the day when the teeth were removed, it went very smoothly. I cannot recommend Dr Margossian and the office personnel more enthusiastically. Patti/Patty was extremely helpful with ins and scheduling and was very nice to me. Going WAY out of her way to deal with all the other people who were required to get my situation resolved. I'm just going to add that I'm 6'2", 300 lbs, covered with body art and normally am not the person you would think has an unreasonable fear of anything, let alone dentistry type stuff, but not once did I feel mocked or not taken seriously. We all have our issues and this one was mine. They absolutely did their very best to help me through it. As a result, now it's over and the worst part for me was walking through the doors. Once the process started, it was fine and then it was over. Now I'm all healed up and ready for the next stage of my cancer treatments. This is an way overdue review. My husband had a few helath issues last year and on top of that he was having some bleeding on one of his molars. We were so scared that it could cause him any other kind of health issue and no other dentist would see him due to his delicate condition. But Dr Raffi would . Wow !! Wow !! Amazing is just not enough for this doctor and his staff. Never in my life have I felt so comfortable in a office like I did in this office. I was so nervous about my extraction but this doctor and his staff made me feel so relaxed the hole time they were by me. They take care of their patients and your not just another patient to them your important. I got to the office and I was greeted by Natalie at the front desk by name at the front desk before I could tell her my name she was waiting for me and calling me by name makes you feel like you know them for a long time and you feel so good. I was called in to the back by Pat to get ready for the doctor and she felt I was nervous so did Natalie and she came to the room with me talked to me and relaxed me before the doctor came in. Dr.Margossian was so nice came in greeted me and said just relax and Numbed me with a cream before giving me the shot so I didn't feel the needle and Pat held my hand while he was doing that to give me that support. When he started to do the Procedure I felt it a little but really I think was my nervous so he gave me another shot and than took the hole thing out without breaking it without me feeling it and so quick. He talked to me through the procedure and said if I feel pain to raise my hand no need for that because it was so quick the hole thing came out and no breaks which so many others told me it would break. After they talk to you about everything the care after and clean you up. This office is the best love them so much the stars are never going to be enough for this office the doctor and his staff. The money I paid was too little for this doctor he deserves millions I will not joke about this. I trust him so much. Hi! I had a terrible fall and my smile was ruined. I fell right onto my face, and it loosened four of my upper front teeth. The ER told me I had broken some facial bones and needed to see an oral surgeon. I had had teeth implants before but never had seen an oral surgeon. My own dentist did not respond to my urgent calls (I'll never go back to them) for a referral. Honestly, I looked it up online and my criteria to choose a doctor was based solely on reviews and proximity to my home. Well, I just lucked out finding Dr. Margosian's office. First of all, the staff is AMAZING. They are expert at running the office and helped me so much with explaining things. I knew I was in for a a long process. They are putting humpty dumpty back together again. I had to have 2 surguries, and I am waiting for my implants to heal before I can get my permanent implants. As far as Dr. Margosian is concerned, he is wildly talented. He is fast, efficient- he kept me out of pain. And I have a fear of dentists in general. I honestly think he is a tooth GENUIS. I would recommend him and his wonderful office staff is a hot minute. I rarely post reviews, but I had to write one for Dr. Margosian and his team. Thank you all so much. I have to update this again and add a star for Mr. Raffi Margossian... Well, I went in for a check-up approximately 10 days after my surgery. I was the first appointment for the morning and this time there was another receptionist, who was much nicer than the ones I had encountered before. She apologized that she didn't see me when I first walked into the waiting area and sat down, and then she ushered me back into the waiting area as soon as she apologized. Dr. Margossian came in and asked me if I was in pain (which I still was, but not as much as the horrible first week) and checked my surgical sight. What made me laugh is that he actually checked the one wisdom tooth that had already been taken out a year ago and had healed and said, "very good," ha ha. Um, sorry, not you.... ...BUT, he looked at my other "crevices" and proceeded to make sure they were clean of gunk, which actually lessened the pain! The whole thing took less than five minutes and then I was out of there! The following day the receptionist called me to inform me that Dr. Margossian wanted me to come in to do another check up and wisdom teeth cleaning. Wow! I appreciate that they are concerned about my teeth and health although I am probably patient #6,782. Anyway, I couldn't be the first appointment in the morning as I had to work the day she suggested, so I asked to come in the afternoon. "Well, we get very busy during that time," she responded, "but we'll try to get you in and out as quickly as possible." I am VERY impressed. I actually felt like a person and not a number. As of today, it is day number 16 since my operation and I still have pain on the bottom wisdom teeth that was taken out (the top ones only hurt for like two days). The pain isn't so bad that I'm popping pain medication like I did practically every six hours during the first week. I can chew on one side of my mouth. With my other bottom wisdom tooth that was taken out a year ago, I went back to eating on both sides of my mouth on the third week once the pain had officially subsided. So just make sure you are prepared to experience some weeks of pain. If the pain isn't subsiding by the first week, you may have a dry socket. Anyway, that's your spiel from Dr. R ;-) read more

This is a well run office filled with people who care. Dr Margossian is a highly skilled technician (and fast worker) and it's clear that everyone there respects him. And, this is an office that demonstrates that it's the people on your team who really make a difference in the patient experience. Here's what I've noticed with each and every visit to this office - from the greeting, to the insurance approvals, to the assistants who support the procedures etc - the entire staff make you feel like they're glad to be there and that they're glad to see you. I was suffering from severe TMJ and having issues working with my insurance to get the proper referrals and approval. The ladies in the office went above and beyond to aid me on all fronts. I have never had a doctor's office go so much out of their way for a patient, let alone a patient who has never been seen by the office yet. I always show up early for my appointments because I'm compulsive about being on time. They always accommodate me and have never been late once. The most I ever have to wait is 5 minutes.
