Worst dental experience I've ever had. During my root canal, I was forced to breathe through my nose using a rubber dam -- but I have nasal issues and couldn't breathe. I was panicking and felt like I was suffocating, and instead of helping, Dr. Joseph Kim was impatient, raised his voice, and showed zero compassion. I paid about $2,000 total and left feeling traumatized. The assistant apologized, but nothing was done to fix the situation. I've never been treated like this by any professional. Just got off the phone with a "Chris." I believe it was a female. Unsure. But I selected this facility under my insurance platform. Before I chose this facility I did a little bit of research and was hesitant in selecting them due to the negative reviews. I can confirm that those negative reviews are ACCURATE. I called to make an appointment as a NEW patient and "Chris" asks me if I have ever been there before...She became extremely defensive and incompetent in answering basic questions and proceed to advise of the earliest appointment in May of 2026. It is currently March of 2026. Not to mention her increased hostility when I asked for her last name so that I may accurately report the interaction. The embarrassment was as clear as day and became flustered and adamant in not providing her last name. OK- "Chris" lol. This business is comical and its staff alike. A person like this can truly ruin incoming business. What a shame. I DO NOT recommend this facility whatsoever. Now, I have a new dentist as well. read more

I came in for a first time check-up, and I don't know how it's possible to leave happy while finding out that I had a cavity, and needed a root canal, but I did! Lol from the front desk, to the SWEET girl cleaning and doing my x-rays, I was impressed on how awesome my experience was. Not to mention, the dentist himself. Very kind and caring. I was told to come back for a root canal, and that was done by another doctor. I believe Dr. Kim, and he was just INCREDIBLE!!!!! Wow! Talked and explained me through EVERY step of the way! The hygienist show a lot of care and very attentive. The doctor is alright but oh man... The office needs to either change the receptionist or just revamp the whole training on their employees. I've booked an appointment 3 months ago upon confirming with the receptionist that my new insurance qualifies and gave my enrollee number just to triple check that I am eligible for a simple routine cleaning. The appointment date comes and they call saying you never confirmed your insurance so we cannot take you in today and requested to rebook another month later. Ain't nobody doing that LOL. I just told them to remove me completely from their records as I won't be coming in to this dentist ever. read more

it is our first time visiting the office after I was referred to the insurance company. Our appointment was at 9 o'clock, and no one saw us as of 930. I heard them saying when we entered that they overbook on Monday because they have a lot of cancellations. Making people wait over a half an hour to be seen is ridiculous when there are so many other dentists out there. I asked them for an update on what was taking so long and they were not apologetic and just told me to sit down and wait. Do not recommend this office to anyone. read more

I went to this dentist about a year ago. They refused to use my health insurance, saying crowns aren't covered. I called my insurance; they said they are covered and told me to bring cash only if I wanted the work done. A bunch of scam artists. I am getting calls from their office every few weeks, even though I told them I no longer want to be a patient. I went in for fillings and separately for a root canal. I'm giving 5 stars because Dr Taroian was absolutely lovely. I expressed my dental anxiety from previous experiences and he was so patient and took the time to explain everything and make me feel comfortable. Him, Wendy and his other assistant get five stars in my book. However - I went in for a root canal today. I was feeling pretty optimistic considering I had such a positive experience the first time. The dentist who did my root canal was a different person, I can't tell you his name because he didn't even introduce himself. I told him I'm sensitive and he was beyond dismissive and said "I'm not like other dentists, I do things differently." He also rescheduled my appt without my permission because he "wanted to go home early" and I scheduled this appt out weeks in advance to clear my very busy work schedule. The day of, they call to say my appt was moved up from 4 to 2 and I had to quickly clear my day to get there on time. The procedure was so painful I sobbed the first half of the appointment and instead of getting his hands out of my mouth so I could take a breath and calm down, he just told me I needed to sit still. I was choking on my saliva and gagging because I was in so much pain and crying so much. Not ONCE did he ask how I was doing, if I needed a break, etc. After the procedure he left the room before even sitting me up. He never looked me in the eyes or talked to me after the procedure. I'm beyond disgusted with how he treated me. He's apparently only there a few times a month and it took a lot for me to clear my schedule to align with his because apparently he's the only one who does root canals here. He clearly doesn't respect the time of his clients. I'm giving 5 stars because the full time team was excellent but the root canal doc needs some people skills and compassion. One of my worst dental experiences, no kindness or patience and was honestly just in a terrible mood from the second I walked in. If you can't care for people, get out of the medical field. read more

I asked the receptionist today if she could let me know how long I've been coming here so I could write an accurate review and it turns out I've been coming here since 2015! That's nine years! Think about how many places you've frequented for nine years!? I highly recommend my dentist, Hamlet Taroian! Someone asked me recently if I trusted my dentist and I immediately replied, "yes, completely!" And the person asking seemed stunned. I've been spoiled for 9 years but I remember having some pretty harsh experiences as a kid so that question isn't too far fetched I guess. He is positive, respectful, professional and effective! He's never pushed a service or product on me. In those 9 years, I realized I had a chipped front tooth. I asked him what my options were. He said the most common response is to go w a veneer but he gave me the pros and cons as well as the cost. He knew I was in a financial pinch and offered to fill & bond that tooth instead at a 1/1000 of the cost of veneers. He was honest about this options limitations too. Guess what? It's been several years and it is still looking and feeling great! I come in every 6 months for a cleaning and each time is wonderful. From the receptionist to dental assistant to dentist, everyone is great to be around! I don't have the best insurance but I've never had a billing issue here either. It's always been clear and straightforward, which is a rarity. Dental work is like car work - expensive & mysterious but definitely necessary in life. Beware of this Office -they do unnecessary procedures! My brother went to get an extraction the day of he's procedures they told him that he needed to have a bone graft!! when my brother refused to pay $700 extra the dentist must've been upset that he didn't want to have that procedure done. When the dentist walked in, he didn't even put topical and just shove the needle in his mouth my brother said ouch!! he kept going Apparently, he doesn't seem to care about his patient.
