For starters the restaurant was very cool. You can tell it's been around for a while. We were met with a smile at the counter and very happy servers. They answered all our questions. After ordering we ate and the food was incredible. Fries were fresh, and the burgers were so delicious!! It all came out hot and fresh! We met the owner and he was awesome! He thanked us for coming. Highly recommend for a good burger!

A definite must stop in depoe bay Oregon! We were drawn in by the smells and pictures of delicious looking burgers. If they only have one thing on the menu you know they better do it right! The burgers were extremely fresh and you could tell the fries were hand cut and seasoned. The burger sauce was delicious as well. Service was friendly and quick. Limited seating is available I would plan on getting your order to go if you have more than two people in your party. We will be back!

We got here around 6.30 on a Saturday evening. The place was almost empty, so our food was out pretty quick. We ordered 101 and 202 combos. We found the 101 a little too light; the 202 was a much better balance. The fries were nicely seasoned and crispy. We did wish there was ketchup and ice available without needing to ask.

This place is awesome. It is a hole in the wall. Very informal. Cashier was the cook. The choices you have are.., How many patties (1, 2 or 3)? Any topping removals? Raw or grilled onions? Then you grab your drink out of the case and hangout. The burger is great. It is just a classic burger with great flavor. The fries are a bit greasy and salty, which adds to the classic feel. I loved it. Our food traveled about 10-15 minutes from grill to table, and it held up well. Also very affordable in the current world. 5/5. Would love to see more places like this. Single menu item, no nonsense, great good.

A tradition for our family every trip to Oregon! Great food, great service, awesome owner. A MUST STOP on your way up the 101!

Awesome little building in downtown Depoe Bay. There is another location in Lincoln City about 20 minutes north, but we loved this little building. Service was great, burgers were great, fries were delicious. We loved everything about this burger place.

Personalized dipping sauce with your order is a charming delight. Fresh toppings, soft buns, molten cheese, hot fries crispy bacon.

I'd estimate about 75% full. The guy seating people seemed frazzled. I asked for a window seat and was told nothing was available, even though I could see two or three open seats by the windows. To be fair, I don't know whether those were being held for reservations. He directed me to sit at one of the bars, so I chose upstairs for the water view. The bartender handed me a menu, then I didn't see him again for 10-15 minutes. From what I could see, the bar wasn't especially busy. I figured I'd try downstairs. Same result. This time, the bartender seemed more interested in chatting with the cooks and other people than taking my order. After another 10 minutes, I was done. Two bars, roughly 20-25 minutes, and I still hadn't managed to order food. I ended up a couple of doors down at Burger 101, a little hole-in-the-wall burger joint. The guy there was super friendly, the burger and fries were delicious, and it cost about half as much. I took my food to go and sat by the beach. Pretty great view there, too. I understand that restaurants get busy. I don't expect someone to drop everything the second I sit down, but a menu followed by a long stretch of being ignored isn't much of a welcome. The Horn's view was what drew me in. The service was what sent me elsewhere. I decided to give my money to a place that seemed happy to have my business. Plus based on reviews the food is way too expensive for the quality you get. I think most people go there for the view. However, if you're not lucky enough to get a window view, you might well go somewhere else.

Parking is a little limited, but there's plenty of roadside parking nearby, so it's easy enough to make it work. The dining room opens up to a panoramic sweep of the ocean, and we happened to be there right at sunset. The sky was glowing, the waves catching the light in that shimmering way only the Oregon coast can pull off. It's the kind of view that makes you slow down, sip your drink, and just take it all in. We started with beers. I ordered the Heater Allen Pilsner, and my boyfriend went with the Ayinger Brauweisse. Both were incredibly smooth going down, the kind of beers that feel crisp, clean, and easy without losing flavor. Perfect start to the evening. I went with the Herb Crusted Lingcod, served with creamy mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts over a lemon caper cream sauce. The lingcod was cooked beautifully. It was tender, flaky, and seasoned just right. The mashed potatoes were absolutely yummy, and the brussels sprouts were a hit. Everything on the plate worked together. My boyfriend ordered the Teres Major, which came with an 8 oz Wagyu steak, truffle mashed potatoes, green beans, all resting on a peppercorn cream sauce. Side note: the menu says asparagus, but he ended up with green beans. Luckily they were crisp and delicious. The steak itself was juicy and cooked perfectly, and you can never go wrong with truffle mashed potatoes. We wrapped up the night with tiramisu. Flavor‑wise, it was spot on. Rich espresso, creamy mascarpone, though the ladyfingers were very soaked and softer than expected. Still tasty, just a different texture. Final Thoughts Tidal Raves is absolutely worth the stop. Great food, smooth drinks, attentive service, and a sunset view that feels like a postcard. I'll definitely be back again.
