Great burger, fries and milk shake...and very friendly service. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary in Gleneden, and I came upon Hwy 191 Burger when driving south on 101. So when we left on Monday morning, we of course had to stop to try them out. Excellent burger...I had the 2 patties, but because I was driving I opted for no tomato due to messiness. The fries and the fry sauce were so good. And the milk shake, wow. Hand scooped and so flavorful. My wife had the fire fries and she loved them. They were too spicy hot for me, but she enjoyed them with ketchup. The service was incredible. She was so friendly and explained the menu excellently. We will definitely be back.

This place is incredible!!!! If you're an in n out fan then you'll love this place because it's honestly better because you can add bacon and jalapenos! The service is great and staff are very friendly. The girl working the register explained the whole menu and was so patient with us. The buns are perfectly toasted. The flame fries were soooo delicious and the sauce that comes with it made it even more amazing. Plus they wrote our name in the sauce which made my day. Love the outdoor patio so perfect if you wanna bring your doggos. Will definitely be back!

I hadn't eaten all day and had to get back to Portland before dark. I was pushing the envelope because the sun was preparing to set so I needed something fast but good. I was north on the Pacific coast highway when I came across a cross roads. McDonald's on one side of the road and directly across the street an unknown, Hwy 101 Burger. I love a good challenge and love to try the less familiar places when possible. Since I doing a review you know what my choice was.... The place was wide open on the inside with a bubbly clerk behind the order counter. She looked at me explaining the mostly burger menu stating the 101 burger is one smash burger, but she stated that's basically our kids menu. I chuckled and ordered the 202, I bet you can guess what the 3 and 4 burger versions were called. The smash burger was fresh and juicy and held up to the fresh but never frozen promise. The burgers come with a special sauce and lately I have been a bit hesitant about those as many are using 1000 Island dressing flavored sauce so I ordered it on the side. As you can see in the photo they personalized it for me. The sauce was tasty and I used it on the burger and the French Fries, which y the way were outstanding. The sauce was so good I used it on the fries and even purchased a bottle to take home. I learned it was a mayonnaise mixed with ketchup, Heinz I'm told, with a touch of blended relish. Not such a secret anymore. Of course the correct quality makes the blend. Unlimited soft drinks and a game room topped off the place. A must stop on the Oregon pacific coast highway.

Stopped in at Highway 101 Burgers near Siletz Bay with my wife and kids while we were exploring the Oregon coast. The place was clean, the service was excellent, and the food came out quickly. We all ordered the basic cheeseburger combo meals and they were simple but really good -- exactly what you want from a classic roadside burger stop. What really stood out was the price. Our combo meals were only about $10 each, which is a great value compared to many places along the coast. The location is great too. It's just a block down the street from the art glass studio where you can watch and buy beautiful hand-blown glass pieces, along with a few other little shops nearby, so it makes for a fun stop if you're walking around the area. Overall, great burgers, friendly service, and a convenient location. Definitely a place we'd stop at again when visiting the coast.

We did our homework & read quite a few reviews before eating here. The restaurant was jammed & the line to order was long- as per many reviews. The staff was very friendly: greeted us as we walked in, told us she'd be right back, apologized for our wait time, & said goodbye to us. There were only 3 staff working, so really pretty impressive what could be accomplished with a small crew! We were offered seats in the bar which we had all to ourselves! We ordered the 101 & 202 burger combos. The burger patties were perfectly cooked! The bun was soft! The veggies were fresh! The cheese was melty! A solid burger! And, the fries were freshly hand-cut (we saw the fries being cut while we waited to place our order).

We go to the beach at Lincoln City once a year. And this is our new favorite burger place. It's a really fun atmosphere, with graffiti'ed road signs and in front of the restaurant, there's painted tires decorated to look like a cheeseburger. The woman running the front counter was amazing, super friendly and welcoming. She told us the burgers were on the smaller side, one patty was good for a kid, two patties were an average adult size and then from there, you had the super big burgers. We wondered if she was just upselling us and we got the two patty combos. Well, she was not. The patties are on the small side but the two patty burger was just right. It was also a super delicious burger, really juicy and flavorful. The fries are also very good and they spell your name in the fry sauce, which is fun. I love places that serve just the right amount of food and not huge portions, like so many places do. This burger just really hit the spot and was a perfect bite. We will come again next time we're in town.

Such a great, little place! This unsuspecting spot was within the historic Taft neighborhood of Lincoln City near the Siletz Bay beach access on Highway 101. The food was excellent. Nothing fancy but delicious. My wife had the 101 burger (single patty with cheese) and I had the 202 burger (double patty with cheese). We each had our burgers with grilled onions, seared jalapenos, lettuce, tomato, and bacon, all made fresh to order. We each had a chocolate milkshake too (I had the malted version). When we received our order, they had taken their fry sauce and wrote my name in ketchup, which I thought was a unique touch. The motif is a little wild, there is a burger made out of old tires out front, a covered patio with picnic tables and spools found on the docks, graffiti-style art on the walls inside, and a pool table and pinball machine. It is definitely perfect for locals and tourists alike. We arrived a little ahead of the major rush and it seemed to be an easy spot for the local high schoolers to spend some time and get some good food; it honestly felt like we found a gem. The service was excellent. Our host/cashier was kind and considerate and loved our dog's enthusiasm they met her. We will be going back again and highly recommend it if you want a good, fresh burger for an affordable price.

Great burgers. I'd compare them to in n out. Nice people. Clean. And they have a pool table and pinball.

This place serves only burgers--you order by the number of patties. I had two. For the cost of what you would get at a McDonald's, this place is much superior. There's ambience, great service, a pool table, fun, music, and a well decorated funky space. This is the kind of place that deserves the following. But there's no veggie burgers. It taste like real food.

Double cheeseburger with fries and stuff. Pretty good.

Ordered a cheeseburger through Door Dash. The oncologist said I need more protein ( not sure she had exactly this in mind lol). I was not hungry at all but I need to eat. And I'm too fatigued to cook tonight. I got the 202 combo with cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and added bacon for $2. It came with fries. You need to order the secret sauce! (basically fry sauce). I also got a chocolate shake. Everything tasted good, some of the fries were a little overdone but the burger and shake were both tasty. I liked that the burger was well consructed and not an enormous mess. It was also reasonably sized. I would likely get them again. It reminded me a little of Five Guys food, only more mom and pop- ish. In the meantime back to the heathier, plain, doctor preferred foods. Sigh.

It's so good we ate it all before we thought to take a picture yum!!

Oh my goodness! This place is a must stop every time we drive through this part of the coast. You can spend an hour looking up places to eat in Lincoln City, and no other place just kills it every time. Burger is fresh, onions and lettuce are crisp! Fries are delicious, and I love the dipping/ fry sauce it comes with! The staff are friendly, fast and welcoming! We love the atmosphere, with the pool table and a few video games! HWY 101 Burger is also very affordable! We love this place!

What's a great little place!! Service was excellent and efficient. Cost was decent! There is a great value for your money here as the burger is fresh and they give you a lot of fries. Burger is so fresh, nice drive in style flat top grilled patty burger that rivals what in n out used to be. They offer grilled onions as well. He fries are natural cut and have a good crisp to them. The burger comes with thousand island and the dressing is just the right mix of ingredients for a tangy bite.

Had a great time at Hwy 101 Burger! The simple menu was perfect, burgers were delicious and came out FAST! They have a covered patio area with lots of seating or inside. The owner was also a hoot, even wrote our names in ketchup in our fry sauce. Great people, great place.

First off, their customer service is off the hook, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We ordered two drinks that were great. Making an attempt to be semi-healthy, we order two salads with roast chicken breast but also ordered onion rings and curly fries. The fries and onion rings came out first, they were delicious. The onion rings were perfect, just the right amount of batter and a great flavor. The crispy fries were also really good, I think my husband wanted more seasoning on them, but I thought it was fine. Then came the salads. Wow, they are huge. Not only that, they were made of the most fresh veggies and a great variety of them. The grilled chicken on top was excellent. Since we had somewhat filled up on fried stuff, I was able to eat just under half of the salad. But they do have to go boxes. I would recommend splitting a salad if there are two of you, especially if you have an appetizer. Near the end of the meal, a manager or owner was talking with all of the tables. He could not have been friendlier or more welcoming. If only all restaurants had staff this nice. We will be coming back!

We then got a food recommendation to the next place we were stopping on the coast. We ended up going to that place twice. Would highly recommend this place not only for the food but the people and support to the community.

Overall the food was good, not extraordinary, just typical coastal food. We ordered the oysters on the half shell, which were very small for the price (reason for the lower overall rating) but very flavorful and the fried cod fish tacos were also good, with plenty of flavor in their pico and slaw. The seafood boil was what you can expect in a small town, little flavor and seasoning, but with a side of melted butter it all comes together. I was scrapping as much as I could out of the Dungeness legs, which were amazing. Hubby loved the stuffed salmon, mentioned the pilaf was bland, but the server did a great job of providing sides of spices and sauces before we had to ask. Overall, for a dinner after or before the casino, it fits the occasion.
