Believe the hype. This place is amazing. Ordered four different burgers for adults and one kids meal. All the burgers were cooked as ordered and juicy. We were a little overwhelmed at all of the selection for fries so we just went with the regular boardwalk fries and an order of onion rings. They were delicious. Nice and crispy and their ranch is probably some of the best ranch I've ever had they must make it in house. I had the A1 burger with bleu cheese and I really enjoyed it. My wife had the burger with mac & cheese on it and she loved it. We will definitely be back as I can see this becoming one of our go to spots. We didn't try any of the milkshakes but they looked delicious. Definitely next time. Just to note, we tried going here are a couple of weeks ago but the line was out the door and I see why. I was very upset with an situation that happened one night with a take out. I wrote a scathing review. Since then the owner has taken the time to reach out to me. And he was well composed in doing so. So...the food is great. You will not be disappointed. But kids will be kids so you may not meet that kid at the register in their most shining moment. This is not fast food. And that is a good thing because you are guaranteed a freshly prepared top class burger. Not something you encounter much anymore. It is slightly more expensive than McD's but for sure in a different league. I'd say that you should expect to pay about $10 a person for dinner here and no one will leave hungry! You order your meal and grab a table. About 10 minutes later you experience burger heaven. It's called burger 25 because there's 25 burgers on the menu including a veggie burger but I don't think this is really a vegan hang out... You come here when you're in the mood for a 100% Angus, FDA choice burger although you can also experiment with pulled pork, roast beef, chicken, lamb or bison burgers. Their other specialities are shakes and floats and though we did not try any, they looked magnificent. Home cut fries are served with a home made garlic ranch sauce that reminded me of the pommes frites that you buy at the street vendors in Belgium who serves them with mayonnaise and other creamy sauces. Extremely excellent! The blue cheese dressing that they serve with their wings have big chunks of blue cheese in it and I bet they are also home made. The lightly coated wings were perfectly prepared although I prefer mine naked and I did not like the buffalo sauce they were drenched in. It was a tasty sauce, don't get me wrong but I'm a fan of the original wings that they serve at the Anchor bar in Buffalo - crispy and tossed in Frank's red hot and melted butter. The place was humming when we were there but the 2 ladies behind the counter were cool and calm and we were impressed with the their service and especially Janine's seeming passion for the place and the food they serve. If you're in Toms River over lunch or dinner give Burger 25 a try, you will definitely not be disappointed. There are times in your life when you just want an AWESOME BURGER. I was talking to a friend about this and he mentioned Burger 25. Never had been there, passed it numerous times going to work, thought they had been there forever. My buddy said no.....they had changed hands a few years back, and he just went on and on, even the fries are amazing, him and his girlfriend go once a week, etc.....figured I would make a point to stop there. Holy crap, I'm glad I did. Had a bacon cheeseburger with these fries with a garlicky dipping sauce....just so ,so good. The burger was really one of the best I've ever had. Same for the fries. Total disappointment. I ordered a regular cheeseburger with fries. I received what seemed to be an entire loaf of bread with a Wendy's kid's meal hamburger patty wedged in between. I wish I had taken a picture of my plate afterwards because it was filled with bread that was peeled away so I could find the burger. Oh- and it was cold! The fries were ok, I have to say. This place has really good burgers and fries which I enjoyed. My only problem was that all the cashiers were wearing their masks but didn't cover all the way up to their noses. I also saw that none of the cooks in the back wore masks at all. One even walked through the waiting area without one. read more

I thought it was good. The roll especially had a great taste and seemed quite fresh. The fries were great as well. I had the A1 Bleu Burger, but subbed BBQ sauce instead of the A1 sauce. The crispy onion strings were small, almost like crispy onion crumbs, but the taste was there and they added a nice crunch. Overall I was quite satisfied with my lunch and will certainly be going back. My only complaint was the speed; there were about 4 tables of people in the dining room already eating, myself, and 2 other people waiting for food. So for 3 people waiting to get food, it took about 12 minutes. Not overly slow, but compared to a place like Bobby's Burger Palace where I get my burger in 5 minutes tops, no matter how crowded it is, it seemed slow. I do realize they haven't been open a month yet, so I'll cut them some slack. But as far as food was concerned, the burger was good, big, fresh, etc. I can't wait to try some of the others on the menu. I'll update my review after future visits. Oh, one more thing, they serve milk shakes and have ice cream (maybe its only for the shakes, I'm not sure) but they're next to probably the best ice cream in Ocean County; Rich's II. So I'm not really sure how many shakes they'll sell. They should team up with Rich's next door and offer some kind of deal where you get a voucher for an ice cream cone. Wow. Maybe people have never had a good burger before but this place does not have it. The crab burger was mostly filler and had a slimy wet coating ? And the Trenton had this gross kraft singles-esqe cheese. The patty was very thin and the meat had those gross fat nuggets that get stuck in your teeth. Overall I would have liked a McDonalds burger better and it's been about ten years since I walked in that place soooooo.... The biggest issue for Burger 25 is that the owners are trying to cut corners. They are using poor quality product and smashing it between two huge buns and hoping you don't notice. I would rather pay a dollar more and get good quality ingredients - or at least a patty that isn't paper thin. They need to take a drive to any major city and check out the burgers or even a Ruby Tuesdays. read more

All their food is amazing. Tonight we ordered a tex MeX burger, gyro burger and veggie burger. We came for pick up & by accident they mislabeled two of the burgers and I already had taken a bite into one. The manager immediately replaced them at no charge. That was very nice of her and shows their customer service. So yea tonight I tried my first veggie burger by accident...but being from burger 25 it was delicious anyhow. Good restaurant for the whole family, just not my cup of tea. It's set up to look and feel very kid friendly but the dining area is small so don't be surprised if someone's poor child ends up at your table looking for the non existent play area. It's cool this place is open a little later though. I made the mistake of ordering an italian dog instead of a burger. After discovering they use just a regular hot dog for it I was a little heartbroken. Not something I would order from them again. Don't be dissuaded. I hear the burgers here are pretty good. Will travel to have lunch !! Small, only 10 or so tables...but worth it !! So many different combos...different flavors of French Fries, salads are great, staff very helpful and patient while you stand there trying to decided what to order..... then deliver to ypur table. End the meal with a milkshake....various fun flavors. Enjoy the off season...very crowded during the summer months...parking not great, but parking on side streets helps. There are only great things to be said about Burger 25. There are plenty of food establishments that are good, but only a few that can get it perfect every time! Burger 25 is at the top of that list! I have never had a bad meal or shake from here. If you have never been then I would highly recommend stopping in for a bite or dessert. The staff is always very attentive, professional and polite! Even during this pandemic they have remained open with their full menu to provide food to their customers as well as participating in numerous meal donations to multiple different organizations!
