My husband and I eat here at least once a week! Best food, we Always order the Nash chicken sandwich but also love the A-1 Bleu Burger, Gyro burger, and avocado club burger. Plus their fries are The Best, mostly because the ranch is soooo delicious! Also the disco boardwalk fries are amazing. Sometimes when I don't want a burger I get the buffalo chicken salad with crispy chicken and blue cheese dressing. Their super shakes are so good and I love that they have new ones every month! Definitely the most delicious burgers in town by far. It's not even that much more expensive than McDonald's, but it's a million times better. For the same burger you'd pay $20 at a fancy restaurant in Asbury. Instead, Burger 25 is here in Toms River, and it's a very good value. Food arrives at the table...square bun & it's piled too high. I know this isn't going to go well. Picked it up & everything starts dripping down the sides. (It was a chipotle burger). The bun should be round & bigger for the amount of food. Also, the burger seemed a little thin, & kind of disappeared in the mix. Third bite in & the actual burger falls apart, as does the bottom bun. Too much wet ingredient on a soft bun. I have to eat the remainder of the burger with a fork & knife. We ordered the boardwalk disco fries which have a balanced portion of cheese, gravy, and delicious tender roast beef (we wanted more of that; although, it was a good balance! Too good). Oh how I love a good redemption story!!! In my first review, I gave them 3 stars due to the lackluster kids meals that were served. It was the only thing that would keep me (as a father of 3) from making Burger 25 a regular stop. So, apparently Burger 25 is under new ownership. After he / they read my previous review, they upped their game in the kids meal department, and invited me to give them a second chance. I am a fair guy (or at least I try to be), so we packed up the kids tonight & ventured forth. Obviously by the 4 star rating, the new owners weren't blowing smoke. They took the feedback on the kids meal to heart & got serious. As previously, the burgers were top notch. The Mrs. had the regular ole' cheeseburger, which she loved. I had the pulled pork "burger". While there's no actual burger on it, the sandwich is still FANTASTIC. There were actual onion straws on this one, which were good. However, it was the slaw on it that made it great. We shared the boardwalk fries, and the garlic dipping sauce that accompanied them blew my mind! Thumbs up. Here's the true test though... the hotdogs... Truly a turnaround from my first visit. The dogs looked like they were coocked on the flat top, as the skin had that direct heat kind of snap. The roll... OMG... the outside toasted with butter. Unbelievably good, in light of the sad excuse for hotdogs from the last time. Well done, new ownership!!! Headed here last night on the recommendation of a family member. I was told the burgers are very good. I was waiting to be wowed and I was!!! We'll start with the negatives about this place as they're nothing to dramatic. Although 1. It was extremely muggy and humid in this little restaurant/fast food joint I really don't know what to consider this place. Anyways 2 on a Friday night at 6pm there should not be one register open. Due to one register being open and about 10 people waiting to order, I did get a little agitated. 3 the seating is very limited I guess it's more of an on the go place but if you do want to sit down, there's not much room. Onto the reason this place is getting four stars. The burger is the perfect size and the amount you pay for it, you will definitely get your money's worth. The #9 Bacon Royale bacon, egg, beef, etc was so juicy, I truly think the thick beef and egg made this burger. This burger is up there for one of the best burgers I've ever had. As well was the classic cheeseburger a totally hit. The hot buffalo fries weren't that hot but they had a nice kick to it loaded with buffalo sauce and the crispy fry definitely left me satisfied. For 20$ between two burgers and a side. You 100% get more than what you're paying for. I came here once before when it opened and didn't like my burger I ordered because the bread was dry, but my friend wanted to go so I thought I'd give them another shot. The space is small, casual, and cozy. This time I ordered the French onion burger my friend ordered the chili cheeseburger. The meat and the toppings on the burger are pretty good. My big problem is the bread. For me it's far too thick and dries up the burger. I know they can't really do much because it's a chain, but I prefer a softer airier bread than a deli or kaiser style bun. The reason why they got 2 stars from me was because of their shakes. I got the red velvet milk shake. The presentation was great. It came with a red velvet santa lollipop which was pretty cute, but that's where it ended. The milk shake didn't taste like anything. I had to throw it out. This is a great burger spot. We tried three different burgers in my group, classic, bacon cheese and Mac Burger. All three were great ( Mac burger is novelty but still good). The burgers seem like steak burgers cooked on a flat top- which makes it appear flatter or smaller as some reviewers have noted. The burgers are not small, I actually split mine with my sister.
