My family and I went there for the first time recently and boy were we surprised! They have a really good variety of different foods and drinks! The burger was excellent and I loved my chicken sandwich that I got! Everything was so fresh,cooked to perfection,and our meals were piping hot! The French fries were so good and we were so glad that we stopped by there! Do you want to know what the best part was? The staff that was working greeted us with a smile and thanked us for stopping by! The last thing I want to mention is the kindness that was showed to us while we were ordering our food! The sweet lady that took our order gave us some suggestions of food that we might like,and she was absolutely right! Our drinks were nice and cold and before we left ALL of the staff said goodbye and wished our family a good evening! My family and I recently took a trip to Bay City. We've been to the city before and wanted to try something new and local. Had a taste for burgers and we ended up not getting any burgers. I don't eat beef and they didn't have a Turkey burger option or I would've done that. Pulled pork was good but they didn't have coleslaw and that would've been nice. Which is why I gave it a four star. The tots were good and so was my sandwich. We also loved their selection of milkshakes. My hubby had chili cheese tots and a banana shake My daughter had strawberry shake and I had the birthday cake and white chocolate shake. Definitely will try again when we are in town again and hope they have Turkey burgers or maybe they'll let me substitute a chicken filet for a beef patty. read more

The big difference between Burger 81 and other area fast food burgers is the quality of the burger and fittings. A quarter pound burger, .25 lb., before cooking. Burger 81 is .22 lbs after cooking were others are lucky if they are .18 lbs. Are you looking for fat or beef. If you want fat with your burger there is always the Donuts!!! The same goes for all the fittings that come with your burger. Tissue paper Tomato or a slice of Tomato. Even the buns have a better taste. You get what you pay for. I would call heir burgers middle-of-the-road. They aren't bad, but for they aren't fabulous either. I think it is because of the bun. And the person ahead of me took forever to order, when I got up to the speaker it was 8:57 and the workers wouldn't greet me at all. We have been here a handful of times now. It seems like every time we make the hour and a half drive to Bay City we hear this place calling us to come grab a delicious burger and an order of their amazing fries. We have tried a different menu item every time we come. In a time when customer service is not the norm any longer it's refreshing to have consistent happy and energetic staff who seem to truly enjoy providing a wonderful customer service experience. Prices are not like "Hot n Now" but the food is higher quality and the new pricing is lower than McDonald's and Burger King plus better quality food in my opinion. I highly recommend giving them a try but don't go there expecting "Hot n Now", I get so tired of reviews based on something it's not any longer. That company tanked and there was a reason. Like other reviewers on Google, I was served cold food, mushy food, incorrect orders, and orders with missing food on the various visits where I kept giving these folks chance after chance. I noticed one cheerful and friendly cashier, but that's out of the entire staff, which is to say the rest of the people who work there are... not.
