This is a cute mom and pop burger spot. Their burger combos are very reasonable ($14) for a burger, fries, and drink with unlimited refills. They have a burger for every dietary restriction including vegetarian and vegans. They also have vegan vanilla ice cream. In addition to their soft drinks, they also have a large variety of alcoholic drinks (canned) and other brands of ice cream. The staff was super nice. This is another one of my favorite and underrated food spots in NYC. I used to go here so often when I was working in the City College area, I think I've eaten at this place around 12 times. Let me tell you, all these delicious food spots in this area was dangerous for my wallet LOL. Anyway, Burger & Shake Co. is home to my favorite Korean corn dogs in NYC. When I first tried their corn dogs back in December 2022, around the time they first opened, I was absolutely amazed. I got their potato corn dog with half mozzarella and half hot dog, along with their sriracha mayo sauce. AND OH MY GOD, THIS PLACE TOPS EVERY OTHER CORN DOG PLACE I'VE BEEN TO BEFORE. The batter to filling ratio is perfect, I never felt like I was eating too much batter. And I don't know what they season their batter with but it's just so addicting. Also, their sriracha mayo sauce pairs soooooo well with the corn dog, whenever I get their corn dog, I would get it with that sauce. However, I did eat at this place since it opened back in late 2022 up until summer of 2024 and noticed that their quality in the Korean corn dogs have gone down. I don't know how to explain it but the last time I had it, it just didn't taste the same as the first few times I had it. It might be the batter because the texture was different and felt too fried. I was disappointed at the changes they might have made but that's okay because this place still has other fantastic options! Below are my reviews for the other menu items I've tried. milkshake: can't go wrong with a milkshake tbh, this was great, 8/10 mochi ice cream: wait like 15 minutes for it to defrost, they have many flavors for you to choose from, 9/10 poutine fries: this is so good, 10/10 garlic truffle fries: this is also good but you will have garlic breath for the rest of the day LMAO, 10/10 bacon and cheese fries: too salty for my liking but still yummy, 8/10 chicken tenders: dry af, 5/10 onion rings: veryyyyy crispy, too heavy, 6/10 So overall, I love this place. I haven't tried their burgers though but I've heard mixed reviews from my friends. I absolutely recommend this place though, it's so affordable too. There's a bathroom, the workers are friendly, and they play some pretty good music in the background. The only caveat I have is that there are long wait times for food, especially when it gets busy. I don't know if the wait times have improved since it's been over a year since I've eaten here but I remember waiting 15 minutes plus just for my order. And if there's a lot of people on line, expect that wait to be even longer. read more

This place has pretty decent food the price is definitely worth the filling, but there is one person I always look forward to when I am there. Jaiden, he is someone i look forward to seeing after a long day he is always there with such warmth, jokes, and kindness. Jaiden alone gets 5/5 stars. *4.5 stars* Ordered takeout so can't speak for the ambience or service, just the food. I got a spicy corn dog, potato corn dog half sausage/ half mozzarella, chicken tenders and truffle fries. Both of the corn dogs were phenomenal, the batter was delicious, sausage was well cooked and mozzarella had perfect pull. Chicken tenders were also very tasty, the pieces were quite big but thoroughly done. Truffle fries were pretty good, though I don't think they had enough truffle on them and I couldn't taste any garlic. Also wish they offered their own dressing since they don't have much truffle. Street toast: (3/5) I've been watching a lot of dramas and always heard about gilgeori toast/street toast. When I saw it here I was super excited. It was kind of underwhelming. It's slightly sweat, on a thin slice of toasted white bread. I was expecting the bread to be thicker and slightly savory. The ham is extra. However, I don't eat ham. I don't know I guess I expected slightly more flavor wise. Ambiance: 4/5 it's spacious, clean and there are details of the each dishes ingredients posted on their menu board Service: 5/5 pleasant fast and to the point. We stopped here after a few errands in the area. Really clean space and the staff is friendly and polite! I tried the peanut butter burger and it was okay. Not the best peanut butter burger I've ever had but I'm willing to go back to try other things on the menu. The fries were cooked to PERFECTION. The chicken strips and fries were really good too. Adult beverages are fairly priced which was great to see. Desert choices ... heaven. We got the ice cream cookie sandwich and the generous scoop makes it shareable. Best part is you choose the cookies, and you can mix them, and you also choose the ice cream flavor. On the next visit I'll try a shake. read more

Food was good but overweight worker was disrespectful, made a bad joke about my appearance to my face. It wouldn't have been that bad if it was funny, but it was unfunny and distasteful. The food and service are always great, the prices are exceptional! I love to buy the salmon burger-- though its sufficiently filling, the fries are the star of the show. I'm so happy to have this burger place in my area which is a 10 min drive and I've ordered take-out 3x already. Street Parking is hard to find. The place have indoor seatings and spacious but service is slow so do prepare to wait a bit for food. They have ton of drinks and a bunch of different ice-cream brand that I haven't seen before. Corn dog- nothing special Truffle garlic fries - wish it was regular fries and not crinkle fries. Also, more truffle taste would be great but still, i order this every time that's how much i enjoyed it. Double cheeseburger- good and big portion Chicken burger- normal Cheeseburger- good. However, the last time i got this... the bread changed to a bigger bun. The size of beef patty is much smaller than the bread. I tend to prefer equal ratio meat to bun. read more
