I recently had the pleasure of trying Flattop's Burger food truck and boy, was I impressed! I decided to opt for the chicken burger and fries and let me tell you, my taste buds were jumping for joy. The burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection, and the fries were crispy and delicious. What's even better is that Flattop's Burger offers catering services and can even come to your large events. Talk about convenience! The staff were all friendly and accommodating, making the overall experience even better. Now, onto the funny part - I couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of enjoying a mouth-watering burger and fries while being parked right outside a hospital. I guess you could say Flattop's Burger offers a tasty escape from the monotony of hospital food. Overall, I highly recommend giving Flattop's Burger a try - your taste buds and funny bone will thank you!

I selected Flat Tops to cater for our school for Staff Appreciation Week. They were accommodating and great to work with. The bacon burger was delicious! I had mixed feelings about the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich as I thought the meat was not moist. Overall loved this food truck!

I like the name. They were the tops at falling flat today. FlatTop's is a food truck which I hadn't seen before. They seemed to be making their debut at the annual Sunset Park'd event, and I shared a couple of items off their small menu to share with some friends. Sonoran Dog ($10): quite a delicious dog. They cut it in half before grilling, resulting in plenty of crispy texture and grill/char notes. with pepper jack, pico de gallo, and sauce all adding to the fun. The first problem is that this is way more expensive than what you'd pay for a similarly enjoyable hot dog (likely with larger sausages too) at a sit-down restaurant; the second is the complete lack of the advertised bacon, which would likely have added to the party. Bacon Cheddar Burger ($10): actually, I don't even remember any bacon in this, although my friend claims to have tasted some, so maybe the bacon would've been forgettable in the dog. The bun looked vaguely brioche-y but tasted bland. The burger was dry despite still retaining some pinkness in the middle. The toppings that did end up on the burger were forgettable. You can get a more delicious burger at Carl's Jr. for half the price. Just to be clear, they told us nothing about a lack of bacon availability. Otherwise, I would have tried another menu item or another truck. Barring a rapid expansion of the menu and perhaps a reworking of the price-to-portion ratio, I'll definitely avoid FlatTop's next year.

I lived out of Flattop's for a whole week!! Yes, I did! I was in Las Vegas at the World Market Center for a furniture show in summer 2019. Generally, during this show, the food trucks rotate and you have more food selection. This year it was the same trucks, and I was not disappointed by Flattop's on any of my experiences. The FoodTruck: The truck is red and black; they put a table outside to take your order and process the payments. There are two "pick up your order" windows; one for food and one for shakes. There is a section for sauces, garnishment, bread, drinks, and the produce they use for the burgers on ice. They have a menu with prices and contact information on the truck. The Food: The menu offers burgers, hot dogs, tacos, and fries. They have a vegan option available too. During the 5 days I ate flats, I always ordered the "Classic Burger" burger patty, butter lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and onion strings. It was juicy, and the bread was great. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the ingredients; tomatoes were fresh, and the butter lettuce was bomb. You can add a side of regular fries! Fries are delicious. Thin, crispy, and not greasy (considering). Other day, I had the "American Hot Dog" hot dog link, bread, and option to put onions and relish. The sausage was sliced and cooked in half, the bread was grilled and a little crispy but not hard. It was great! The shakes here are really good. How do they make such a good shake in a truck? I don't know! But I had Vanilla and my husband had chocolate for 3 days mmmm we were addicted! The Service: The staff was friendly and amicable. Orders came out fast. They write your name and call you when your order is ready. By the end of the week, they already knew my name 'cause I ordered here every single day. I recommend this food truck! Thanks for keeping me alive this Las Vegas Market Show! :-)

YES, I attended the @CurbsideCafeLV Grand Opening Celebration 7/24 at 6pm at Hellboys Tattoo on W Sahara Ave/Rainbow Blvd. YES, I was one of the 1st 50 to arrive and get a FREE burger + T-shirt. and YES I am still gonna write a review :) I am really enjoying the NEW #streetfood trend taking place here in #Vegas....I guess after KogiBBQ in LA blew up last year restauranteurs are starting to think mobile foodtruck are a real alternative to traditional sit down restaurants. Being that it was still 100+ at 6pm when I arrived I was content getting my burger, fries and drink and ducking into the first sign of shade I could find. I ordered the Hawaiian Burger & Fries -The girl taking the orders was real friendly and very efficient. The guys making the grub seemed nice as well but seemed focused on making things run as smoothly as possible--not alot of chit-chat:) The food was ready in about 5 minutes and looked GREAT!! The burger was Fresh and handmade with Fresh veggies and the fries hot & crisp!! Delicious!! I wanted to try some tacos but it was damn hot--have to save something for next time right? If you see this guy parked in a shopping center near you--do yourself a favor and stop by!!

Blackened Mahi Mahi taco + Calamari taco = a killer $5 combo!

Hooray for 2nd Sundays @ Hanshiktaco! Not so much because I love Hanshiktaco. But more because it featured Curbside Cafe, a food truck that I've been wanting to try forever, and Snow Ono Shave Ice, a food bus that I've recently fallen in love with. Valentine's/Haterade Day has nothing on Snow Ono! Anyway, this is about Curbside Cafe. I tried their Blackened Mahi Mahi taco and their Calamari taco. It's only $5 for both. What a great deal! They are ridiculously delicious and a great size. In fact, the mahi mahi is dangerously close to not fitting inside that double tortilla. Yum, yum, and YUM! Usually with food trucks, I wait until I try more items before I give a five. I don't see a point with Curbside. It saves me from having to update my review after I try more items. And believe me, after that incredibly positive experience, I will definitely be trying more items. I really can't see a scenario where my rating drops below a five. Their food looks and tastes that amazing. And Doug is a great guy. Five stars all the way.

    Baja Burger and Sonoran Dog

Mark your calenders everybody, CURBSIDE CAFE is parked at Hanshik Tacos home every Second Sunday of the month! I was excited to hear that Curbside Cafe was gonna collabo with Hanshik and Snow Ono cuz I never had CC before! But now that I have, it's really good! Prices are really cheap for what you get. A more than full size burger for around 6 bucks and an extra dollar for a bed of french fries. I ordered the Baja Burger and the Sonoran Dog, both were HUGE! The Baja Burger had a nice spicy kick AND a punch! Overall a good burger. The Sonoran Dog had a big kosher dog sliced down the middle with fresh, thin, crunchy onion strings on top of it and bacon and pico de gallo. Flavor was definitely there. We didn't have to wait for our food long at all, food came super speedy fast. Curbside Cafe has QUANTITY AND QUALITY! Like Arnold says.. "I'll be bock."

Baja chicken sandwich with fried jalapenos.

Curbside Cafe frequents my office building often so whenever they stop by, I always try to order from them. I'm all about supporting small and local businesses! Anyway, on with the food. On my most recent visit, I ordered the special which was the Baja Chicken Sandwich. You can add fries to any order for a $1 but that is way too much food for me during lunch = food coma. The sandwich itself was delicious. The chicken was a little on the small side but still packed a lot of flavor. One of my colleagues had it as well and he loved it. Here's a few tips: you can substitute chicken for any of the burgers at no extra charge. I did not know that until recently. Also, they accept all types of credit cards which makes it very convenient when one does not have cash.

I would recommend placing your order by calling them first and then going to pick up since there's not too much waiting room. When we got there, you can hit the ring button to have someone take your order. Isaiah came out shortly after, was super kind and friendly. We ordered Da Cartel which included 10 wings (lemon pepper and garlic parmesan), a slider, and trap fries. This totaled out to be about $27 and fed two of us. The wings were absolutely mouthwatering. I'm not usually a fan of garlic parmesan because it's too powdery - but theirs were not like that at all. The slider was a bit too saucy, but the patty itself was well seasoned. The fries were everything - use a fork though it can get messy. Hoping the best for their future and looking forward to a store front where there's seating!

Bacon makes everything better, so how could I resist the chance to try a food truck devoted to it?…read more Blondie's Bacon Creations was one of many local food trucks that came to Sunset Park'd in 2016. You can't miss the blue truck with pictures of bacon (and a blonde), even though these guys were somewhat tucked away in a corner near the stage. The menu is mostly different variants of french fries and sandwiches, but I saw the Bacon Tater Balls ($6), a creation that they boast took 3rd place in the "Extreme Bacon Bite Challenge" (a quick Google search shows that it was held November 2015 last year and included restaurant chefs). This tray had 3 fluffy potato balls with bacon, green onion, and cheese that were deep fried in Panko breading and topped with a lemon sour cream. Although it's not the most exciting potato ball that I've had from a food truck, it was a contrast of textures and had enough bacon flavor. Blondie's Bacon Creations seems to be a solid food truck so far. I'll definitely check out some of their loaded french fries next time.

Looking for some naughty bacon treats? This is your place!…read more I tried Blondie's when they were outside of Bad Beat Brewery. I really like Bad Beat, but I was mostly there for the bacon. First, the couple that runs the truck is really nice. They are very welcoming. I ended up at the truck three different times and they were friendly each time. I even asked if there was any way that I could get a couple of items to go for my husband since he was stuck at work and missing out. They didn't skip a beat and wrapped up a couple of items for me to take home. I was even given instructions on properly warming the food if necessary. I had a sandwich that was melted cheese, bacon, egg, and jalapenos on sourdough. It was awesome. That combination was a winner. My coworker and I shared the Dumpster Fries which were my favorite item. It was fries, cheese, bacon, jalapenos, ranch dressing, and an over easy egg. The instructions were to crack the egg in the middle to let it make a gravy on the fries. You can't go wrong with this plan. We gobbled this up. I definitely brought an order of these back to my husband. For dessert I grabbed a couple of the chocolate chip pecan cookies from My Big Fat Cookie. The cookies were huge and one would have been enough for two people. The cookies were okay, but not overly flavorful. Maybe Blondie's should have a maple bacon dish for dessert?? Bacon for the win!
