Definitely one of the most tasty burgers we have ever tried! Everything tasted fresh including the vegetables which were very complimentary. Wow! This place has one of the best burgers in Las Vegas! Amy's Burgers recently moved from North Vegas to Rainbow/95 in the Summerlin Takeout restaurant area. There is plenty of parking available. The Summerlin Takeout has multiple restaurants inside the area. There is no seating except for one table outside the establishment. My husband and I stopped by here after a conference on a Thursday for lunch. Amy's burger has a wide range of burgers. You can choose from some of the following Hamburger Cheeseburger Loaded Bacon The Western Jalapeno Swiss The Chili Cheese and more! You can make any burger into a lettuce wrap. You can also customize it further by adding an extra patty, extra bacon, or even veggies! If you're looking for something different than a burger, Amy's burgers does offer Chicken sandwiches, chicken Tenders, and crispy wings! Some of their sides include cheese sticks, mac n cheese, fries and more! I ended up ordering the following from Amy's Burgers. -Cheeseburger (plain) -6 piece chicken wings with a side of BBQ sauce -Chocolate Milkshake After 15 minutes, the order was done. Even though it was raining outside, the table was slightly covered. We were able to eat the meal outside of Summerlin Takeout. My cheeseburger was delicious! It was juicy and tender. Was in the mood for a good burger and I found Amy's with the help of my fellow Yelpers! The space is small but nice for a brand new burger spot. Spoke with the owner Amy and she stated she only had been open for a few weeks and is having a great opening in a few days. She stated she always wanted to open a restaurant and she's doing great! My partner and I stumbled into Amy's recently and WOW! Burgers aren't my go-to food, but once or twice a year I have a craving and Amy's certainly fed that need today. Now being a Yelper, I don't typically take reviews to heart, so from a constructive criticism point of view, I would urge the owners of this page to have the address updated. The Summerlin Takeout is linked to this yelp page so its the location off Rainbow, versus my husband and I opted to check out their brick and mortar location on Smoke Ranch Rd- which no yelp page has been established. I read a few reviews about the wait time and saw comments by the owner saying that it wasn't the correct page. So please just make sure you are commenting correctly. We went today to the brick and mortar shop and it looked shut down. So we drove the 10 minutes to the Summerlin Takeout location. My husband and I opted to share a variety of their menu items, here is what we ordered 1. Western Burger- great char, but due to the takeaway component and box style, it was super soggy. 2. Hot Mess Fries: I loved the taste of the sauce almost like an animal style at In n Out, but again due to take away, it was fairly soggy 3. Chicken Tenders tossed in Buffalo. I loved the tenders and it had a great bite to breading ratio. Was pretty good for take away. Granted we had planned to eat at a physical location and ended up driving this food 20 mins home, contributed to the food flavor. Overall it was an okay experience. Cashier was Friendly and helpful she mentioned there was a wait we were ok with that, We paid $34 which was fine as well But when it came to the wait theres no excuse. We waited for 35-40 mins for two westerns and one order of chili cheese. lol That is beyond ridiculous there was one cook and one cashier. Then i noticed He had the cashier help him because he couldnt handle the load , there was at least 4 customers who ordered before us still waiting and 3 at the register to order. I noticed a group of men came in and sat down and got there food immediately same for another couple who came in after us. So i asked the cook where my food was i had been waiting for 35 mins or so he said that group called in there order and that they only have two people working and its a 35 mins wait that my food is ready there just putting it together, no apology or anything he just walks away. Like its my problem and for me to deal with it! He was very rude, The cook needs more training or to be replaced entirely. On top of it ive been to so many places to eat and they have one cook and i dont wait 40 mins, no food establishment not even a gourmet place on the strip making fresh food takes that long only an unexperienced cook they need to hire a real cook instead of having the owner cook lol so no excuses and not my problem they have one cook on hand . this is a new establishment they should be prepared for the over load in the beginning. Its not a steak or Raw chicken being cooked its a burger and chili fries that is already prepared. He shouldn't have to grab the cashier to help him which im sure isnt trained or paid for that! Then once my food came i was even more disappointed. The burger meat wasnt good or fresh and One burger had alot of bacon the other not so much, the bbq sauce tasted sour like it was old. So we were feeling lazy ..... and door dashed Amy's. I remember seeing a yelp email with the it's new!! So we ordered 2 drumsticks, sauce on side. Crispy deluxe. Mushroom jalapeño and the chili fries Drumstick were huge warm and crispy but lacked seasoning. It was very safe. IMO .... Crispy deluxe was also unseasoned chicken, well portioned and juicy but lacked flavor bun was also good. Mushroom jalapeno was good, bun was nice couldn't detect Cheese and a bit messy. Which isn't my thing. The chili fries needed salt. Not bad but definitely didn't leave us wanting more. All and all not bad. But not our jam. read more

This family run burger joint on the west side is fantastic! I placed a phone order for pickup late Sunday afternoon. The gentleman named Michael who took my order let me know about a 10% discount because it is the Lord's day, love that. Place is easy to find with plenty of parking. Inside is fairly small with a few nice tables to sit at and a big tv to watch whatever game is on. The owners are also the food preparers and greeted me immediately when I came in with a very friendly manner. I believe it was Amy that made my strawberry milkshake. A lot of places will make a shake that is either too thick or is so runny it tastes like flavored milk. She was able to find that perfect consistency and make it look amazing at the same time. The watermelon lemonade was excellent and free refills while I waited was very much appreciated. Once I got home, my group devoured our food. The burgers were all wonderfully seasoned and cooked perfectly. The chili cheese fries were also very good and regular fries maintained their crispiness while the dipping sauces paired well with them. My only two points of constructive criticism would be to enhance the loaded mushroom burger because the loaded bacon burger actually has tons of bacon but there needed to be more mushrooms for sure. I also would recommend trying to find a better paper bag maybe with handles because the staples don't really hold a full bag together well and I definitely almost dropped everything getting to the car. Not sure where to start: with the owners or the food. Off jump, both get 5 stars. Had the opportunity to have a conversation with both owners a day before trying the food. Their sincerity drove me to try it, and it didn't disappoint. The loaded fries? GET OUT OF HERE. The best in town...the REAL grilled jalapenos actually sealed the deal. Beats Roberto's or Tacos El Gordo if you can believe it. The Western? If you're a 90's kid from Cali you remember what the Western Bacon Cheeseburger used to be. It isn't what it was. Not sure we went to the same place as all these reviews, although in fairness a ton are the standard Yelp "1 lifetime review or "500 friends and 3 reviews" type accounts. The place is in a sketchy little strip mall which by itself doesn't mean the food isn't good, but might be an issue for some. Menu doesn't explain what on the burgers so you're relegated to asking " what's on the loaded mushroom, what's on the spicy, etc." I mean the names give you the general idea but you have to ask, mayo? Lettuce? Onions? Pickles? Not all the burgers come with the same items in addition to their named part (ie loaded mushroom). Ordered 2 burgers and fries and a shake. 40 minutes later, they bring food to the 4 people who came in after us. They then ask if we got our shake, and we had not. The gentleman says the other girl should have made it... and apparently she did and put it in a fridge. He brings it out, and the whipped cream is melted down completely and the thing tastes watery.. watery not milky. It was terrible and we tossed it after one sip. Burgers were actually pretty good but not good enough to deal with that again. They are trying I guess but it was amateur hour. While we waited, I watched the owner/cook talking to some lady for like 5 minutes when it was clear the food was backed up. Then later, that same lady returned and complained her food had been sitting waiting for her and demanded her money back. Not clear if she just left and it was her fault or if they hadn't gotten it to her but either way, it backed everything up even more. Then I watched the owner tell customers he couldn't take their orders for 15 minutes because they were backed up (15 minutes seemed an overly generous estimate honestly). People are getting walked because you can't get burgers made in under 45 minutes? Two burgers with fries and drinks and 1 shake was $50. Tasted decent, the burger at least. Fries were average. Shake was terrible. Wait was beyond absurd. Sadly not a return and all things considered at that place, I'd be surprised if it stays open. Hopefully they can get it all together though since they seem like a nice friendly group of people running it. read more

My husband and I had read wonderful reviews in Nextdoor and made it a point to try it out. One of the owners Michael (Amy's husband) was in charge today. It was Sunday so they knock off 10% for the Lords Day. Very sweet staff. He has some wonderful young men helping out. Everyone was so friendly. But you didn't come for the cook. You are coming for some tasty food. My husband loves spicy food. He ordered the spicy burger and it was the best he's had. Lots of places add some jalapeños, but they don't guarantee a spicy burger. He also went for the loaded fries. They smother their delicious fries with a yummy sauce. Best fries ever! Of course, I'm not a saucy girl so I got their regular fries. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Now I am a snooty French fry girl and they were so good I ate them all before I got home. Loved them. I got the bacon burger. It was covered in thick bacon slices. Way more than you find on a bacon burger. Very tasty and bacon in every bite. It's a small place with a few places to sit, so we took our food to go. Lunch with the kids today. The owners are awesome. They gave everyone an intimate experience. It was really cool. One of the owners talked for 10 minutes to the people sitting next to us. The kids got cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets. I started off with some cheese fries and a chili cheese dog which actually comes cut and put on a hamburger bun. Then I tried this Western Burger. Next was fried wings with the Sweet Chili sauce, Mango Habanero sauce, and the Spicy Peach sauce. The Spicy Peach is insane! They gave me sauce to take home it was so good. These wings were so good. I got the spicy chili and mango habanero, and both were packed with flavor. The spicy chili had a nice heat with a little smokiness--spicy, but not too crazy. Super tasty. The mango habanero was my favorite. Sweet at first, then hits you with that perfect spicy kick at the end. It's the kind of sauce that keeps you coming back for more, even when your mouth's on fire (in the best way). Wings were good size, had thick sauce, and juicy inside. Amy's Burgers officially opens April 5th, but I highly recommend trying this place now. I have no photos to share because we ate it all, but we ordered the loaded mushrooms burger, jalapeño Swiss burger, a root beer float and their watermelon lemonade. Everything is delicious. Amy seasons and cooks her burgers to perfection and adds a lovely sauce to complement the flavors even further. I love that she grilled the jalapeños before putting them on the burger. The fries have the perfect crisp and crunch to them, and they're seasoned very well. There's a dipping sauce that comes with it and it tastes great with or without it. The sauce has a nice heat without being overpowering, but is also slightly sweet in the best of ways. Their watermelon lemonade is apparently the most popular and I can see why. It's not overly sweet or sour, but has a great balance of flavors. The root beer float was absolutely fantastic. I'm not sure what ice cream Amy uses, but the root beer float is also not overly sweet and was a delight to drink. It was perfect. I can't wait to try their other burgers as well as wings. The food was so great, I did not expect to walk into this burger place and have the best burgers in Vegas! Amy's Spicy Stack is packed with flavor and while it has a kick to it, it isn't overwhelmingly spicy putting flavor over heat! The hot fries were well cooked and the cheese and especially the special sauce makes me come back every time. I've been three separate times and each time it was worth the trip, money and time. The shop is small so if it gets busy you might not have seating but most people take it home so I haven't had any issues yet, the owners are extremely welcoming and are very community forward.
