Finally got tired of waiting and went inside to a long line that is moving like no one has any place to be. I love Burger King and their Whoppers but this location... it's the closest one and it serves the fix yet it's so frustrating how slow and bad the location is here. After 10 years, this location finally has kiosks to order the food. This gets one star. This helps with lines in the front. However, it does not improve the service when it comes to speed. This isn't fast food, it's slow food. The music in background is also very loud. They should tone it down. They have Coca Cola freestyle machines. Awesome! What's not awesome is one of them (the left one) has no carbonation. And neither has ice. You have to ask for it in back! But when I finally get the food, the food is good. Tastes and look fresh. This go around, I ordered the Crispy Onion Whopper. Has lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, bbq sauce, cheese, mayo, crispy bacon & onion pieces & onion rings. It is really good. Unfortunately, BK has always been my favorite but this Burger King is such a disappointment. Three days/times in a row I got burned. 1. I ordered and paid for extra lettuce and tomatoes. As you can see in the photo, there was none. 2. Then, the next day I tried to order the SpongeBob meal in the drive thru and there was some kid literally playing on the intercom. I got frustrated and ordered inside. 3. Then my daughter wanted the halvsies with her kids' meal and they gave her just fries and also forgot the cheese on her cheeseburger meal. The service isn't great and you'll likely not get what you ordered so make sure you double check. I came here tn to get burger king and this one is specifically 24 hours and when i got through the drive through window no one said anything. I stayed for a good five minutes and I said "hello" three times and then all of a sudden they turned off the drive through menu screen. All I saw was pitch black screen and I was confused because I saw a car being helped in the drive through. When I finally left I saw two guy employees looking through the window staring at my car. So I'm confused on why no one answered at the drive through speaker and why they turned off the menu. Absolutely inexcusable and just rude. Unfortunately they have to work with, what the company sends their way. A lot of BK's are being closed, and it comes down to quality. Wendy's never frozen beef is partially responsible. A pandemic, recovery, and inflation are factors too. Unfortunately the Whopper and other burgers here are below average in taste and quality. Their chicken sandwiches are atrocious. I felt very offended and disrespected by Maria (name obtained from the manager at the time). Maria was very rude and impolite when I asked if anyone was serving at the register, since the only two registers were unattended. She yelled at me to wait, and while I was waiting, I was looking for other options to order more food, and she yelled at me again. Seeing this behavior from her, I preferred to wait in silence until someone else attended to me. Maria said again in a disrespectful manner that I came to buy something, and why am I asking if I still haven't decided. She also didn't protect her hair to prevent hair from falling into the food. She also didn't wear gloves when handling food, even if it was wrapped. She handled her cell phone without washing her hands, touching the food, spreading bacteria from the cell phone she took out of her pants pocket. Does the Department of Health know about these irregularities that don't prevent the spread of bacteria? Maria didn't have an ID with her name on it either, so I had to ask the manager. I think they should take health laws very seriously and replace these types of employees who don't prevent outbreaks of bacteria and are also rude to customers. I have no problem with the quality of food provided at all. It is Burger King, and flame-broiled burgers is obviously their strength. The burger and bun combination (without toppings) is the healthiest fast-food burger option available in this area...largely because of the flame-broiling. The problem that I have with this location is that is it is constantly plagued with supply line issues...hence the drop in star rating from 4 stars to 3. Today they were out of mozzarella sticks, all pies, cookies, straws and drink carriers...this should not be a COVID issue. On my last visit, they were also out of mozzarella sticks (the quality had gone down since first available anyway...so not a big loss). Soon after the remodeling, they were out of individual BBQ sauce packets for over a month. Given the situation, most other places would have offered BBQ from their large pump bottles in small plastic cups (as they still included it on menu items that called for it), but that was never an option. It would be nice to see something done about the supply problems - either better anticipating demand or leveraging other suppliers - but I don't go frequently enough to care that much anymore. It has become such a hit or miss thing that I would rather go somewhere else. Holding out hope for "one day" that things will change, but not holding my breath unfortunately. read more

Burger King has come out with a new promotional - called a Melt, with 2 patties and different toasted bread. Burger King also has a fountain dispenser that allows you to combine multiple different drinks with unique flavors - strawberry, cherry, vanilla, etc. I like the store at 7064 Columbia Pike because it is clean, staff is friendly, and it has mostly windows. But its management during this visit failed miserably. The great dispenser was empty of most of its choices except coke. Most flavors were empty. I was excited to order the new Melt at $2 more than what I was given, a Whopper Jr in a Melt wrapper with no explanation. Turns out for this promotional, this store had no toasted bread. I detected an attitude of recognition by staff of a dismal situation, when the manager hid around the corner and had staff explain their failures to order supplies and fix the correct order. They replaced the order with another sandwich, not the Melt as advertised, and a gracious staffer explained the failures. At this one store, I have experienced before, it lacking beverages and older buns used in whoppers. The physical plant and the out-front staff are great, but the store is lacking. 8/14/20 On August 2nd, I stopped by this place around 7:45pm. This place is in operation, but just barely. Their frozen drink machine was out of order. No onion rings were available and several other items too. Drinks were poured by the staff since customers are allowed to use the soda fountain. Bathrooms were most likely closed to the public, but I did not check the restroom. The crew member I met was polite to a point, but I wouldn't want to hang out with her for to long. The food was nice and hot as it should be, but the coke freezey would have been the icing on the cake. Since this was all paid for on a gift card, I am not going to complain. read more
