I am such a fan of Jollibee. I typically get a two-piece dark spicy with the spaghetti and the mango drink. I also love the I think it's peach and mango pie. That is a top-tier meal for me. It never disappoints always very good service super quick, but always very tasty. If you want a different version of fried chicken, this definitely has to be a spot that you try out. If you are a fried chicken connoisseur as I consider myself, you know that Popeyes taste different from Royal Farms and it taste different from Bonchon and you can put Jollibee in that list as well because you're going to get a different type of spice flavor that is very good. read more

Jollibee in Alexandria, VA is the closest location to where we live, and it's my girlfriend's favorite fast food chain, so we always look forward to stopping by whenever we have the chance. Unfortunately, our visit on Saturday, August 1st was very disappointing. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. We waited about 20 minutes just to use the restroom because one bathroom was locked the entire time. After asking an employee to unlock it, we found it in unacceptable condition. The toilet hadn't been flushed, paper towels and toilet paper were scattered all over the floor, the sink was filthy, and it honestly looked like the restroom hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The service also left a lot to be desired. We had to repeat our order three separate times because it kept being entered incorrectly, and the order displayed on the screen still wasn't accurate. After ordering, we waited 15-20 minutes for our food. The dining area wasn't much better. The tables, floors, and overall restaurant were noticeably dirty, our table wobbled the entire meal, and there weren't any forks available when our food was served. However, despite those issues, the food itself was exactly what we've come to expect from Jollibee. Everything was served fresh, hot, and tasted great. That's the main reason we keep coming back. I just hope this location improves its cleanliness and overall customer experience because it has the potential to match the quality of the food it serves. read more

I only recently discovered this Jollibee's that's just off Little River Turnpike. It's actually been here three years now. My first memory of Jollibee's, a Filipino-based chain, was from Southcenter in Seattle, where I discovered their very good fried chicken. The Seattle location was wildly popular, and so is this Alexandria outlet. So practically speaking, due to the popularity, it may take some time for your order to be prepared. Be patient! The kiosks help with getting your order in, but when I used the kiosk, it errored out when I tried to order a fountain Pepsi. That's OK, I'd rather have Coke anyway, which they do not have at Jollibee's. Even though chicken is Jollibee's specialty, I wanted to try the Angus Cheeseburger. I also ordered an Ube pie. The burger was pretty good. The bun was great and so were the toppings. But unfortunately, the meat was salty as all get out. I don't know if that was a one-off experience or that's how they do their burgers. I have very fond recollections of Ube ice cream in the Filipino halo-halo dessert, so I had high hopes for Jollibee's Ube pie. It was nice that they heat their Ube pies. The crust is very good. This is my second time having Jollibee, and I was not disappointed. We split the 6pc bucket with spaghetti, 2 peach mango and 1 ube pie, which was an extremely good deal for 2-3 people in my opinion. The spaghetti is a little sweet, and not like the traditional marinara sauce that I'm used to, but I can see why some people like it. The gravy was alright as well. Chicken was crispy and juicy. While the menu overall does lean a little sweet, I personally think the quality of the chicken is top-tier for fast food fried chicken. Chicken 9/10 perfectly crispy,juicy,hot (temperature wise) I think it just needed a little salt and spice. Mash 4/10 regular instant potatoes and gravy not nasty or anything just regular fast food potatoes. Peach mango pie 4.5/10 perfect crunch just the filling was mid it needed a little umph! I was in the area and wanted to give them another try as I've eaten their chicken before once and really enjoyed it. This is my first time coming inside and ordering for myself so I wasn't sure how many pieces of chicken what I wanted to get. I knew I wanted spicy so I looked over the entire menu which was pretty big and decided what I would get while I waited in line. The inside is really cute which I tried to get as many pictures as I could. So the cashier was really nice and had a mask on which you don't see much anymore nowadays. I got the 2 piece with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Now that I think of it I should have gotten the Mac and cheese and chicken rice for an up charge. But I was being cheap...lol also added the dragon fruit drink which turned out really refreshing. So I got home and devoured the chicken which came with those cute little flags that said "spicy" which I love they gave me all dark meat pieces. The mashed potatoes tasted like the powder kind so I wouldn't recommend getting that as a side. The coleslaw was alright but I wouldn't get that again either. My son has been hankering for some Jollibee since he came home from France this week, so it was our lunch mission today, lol! He intentionally waited for a fresh batch of chicken to come out & it was worth the wait. So crispy on the outside & incredibly moist & juicy on the inside WOW! We got the spicy chicken, which had a mild little kick for us, but we eat fire, so go figure, haha. Mashed potatoes & gravy hit the spot! The potatoes were creamy, and the gravy was sooooo delish, YUMMMM!!! Fries were a disappointment as they were both flimsy & not hot at all; they sadly seemed old. Been to Jollibee a few times and overall a good experience. The store is very clean. The service is good but they can be on the slow side. That is probably one of the few things that could be improved. Things I've tried include the recent limited edition sandwich and separate wings (sweet soy sauce glaze, 8/10 ), with preference being the sandwich as the wings itself were soggy quickly due to the sauce (I give the wings/pieces a 7/10). Jolly spaghetti (which was a pleasant surprise, I enjoyed this despite it being sweet 8/10) Chickenjoy bucket +gravy (gravy was really good- 7/10, the chicken itself so flavorful and coating was not overwhelmingly thick 9/10) And cant forget the dessert: Peach mango pie! I've had jollibees twice now and loved both times! The first experience was with the chicken tenders. People aren't lying, they really are like a better canes. The only reason I'm giving it a 1 star is because of the frozen drink and the chicken being hot. However, I really wanted this to be a go to spot for great chicken but it was so disappointing. First, the ran out of burgers so we couldn't try them. We ordered a mix chicken with max and cheese and mash potatoes.... Do not get either. The potatoes are boxed and disgusting. I kept hearing that Jollibee was one of the best fast food fried chicken chains in the country, and as a lover of fried chicken, I knew I had to try it. I had it delivered since I don't live close to a location, and it did not disappoint. The fried chicken was nice and crispy, and actually had a surprisingly good amount of heat to it. The Mac and cheese was nice and creamy. The mashed potatoes were good, and I like how they just serve you the chicken with a side of delicious gravy. The biscuit was a bit lacking to be honest - I definitely prefer Popeyes biscuits. Overall the food was good. Updated review! Came here and it was pretty empty, had 2 individuals in front of us and again only one cashier. Out of a couple things here and there which seems strange since it wasn't that late in the day. Service is still just okay and still a 7-10 minute wait time for food. I will say that I think the food has improved. I got the 6 pc chicken bucket with half spicy and half regular. Chicken was really crispy and good and the spicy one had a good kick. Dipped in gravy was great. My husband got the Angis Cheeseburger Meal with fries and a soda. Burger was pretty decent and the fries were perfectly crispy. We ordered a 2pc burger steak with a side of adobo rice and an order of a jolly crispy fries. The burger steaks are topped with gravy and mushrooms -- they taste super flavorful and resemble the taste of Jollibee from the Philippines. My only gripe is how small it was vs the price... $12 is a bit of a premium - deducted the star there. Jolly crispy fries taste the way McDonald's fries tasted in the early 2000's - salted and oiled (and priced) to perfection (at $2.69). It has a sweet sauce and pieces of hotdogs in it, so if you cannot consume me, I would not get this, but if you can, you are in for a treat! Can't beat the value for the taste and the price.
