Damn, so we unexpectedly found ourselves very east in Grand Canyon National Park - directions are profoundly deceiving and on top of that, reception was very limited. We managed to Yelp eating options whenever we had reception, but as we made our way east ward, the drive was INCREDIBLY LONG. And nerve-racking because there was no end in sight. Honestly though, keep this in mind. Our original destination was boarded up and out of business; however, Burger King here at Cameron was up and running. They had workers monitoring the social distancing situation and super wiping down tables for people who chose to eat indoors - twas great. Fast food was fine, but I did appreciate the convenience. The Burger King is conveniently located right behind the gas station. It was a good breath of relief to find something that would feed my family and fuel my car - whew.

    This is a Joke

Cold burgers uncooked fries. Disgusting. Very very very disgusting not worth the money don't waste your money here even if you're starving it's not worth a penny.

Service is incredibly slow. The delivered orders aren't correct. I've been here twice and I don't think I will return.

Bad all around. Never coming back at all. Worst BK chain of all. Food, service, ambience of this fast food needs to be updated.

There is a restaurant, hotel and a giant gift shop in the building. The amount of amazingly beautiful handmade jewelry, pottery and accessories ... just mind blowing! Very hard to walk away from buying anything, so be prepared to spend some serious money here! Besides more turquoise jewelry, I also bought some Prickly Cactus Pear Jelly, and a Prickly Cactus Pear Marmalade. There are multiple cashier counters, so you don't have to worry about waiting in line for too long. The cashiers are very nice and helpful with any questions you may have. Taking pictures or videos without permission is not allowed! It's a great place to stop during your trip, for a restroom break, or shopping or just a scenery around the area.

Guessing based on their breakfast that their lunch/ dinner is good... but it's hard to find good breakfast places and this is definitely one! * Highly recommend the Warrior Surprise and the Ranch Hand. *The Navajo taco with an egg anyway you want it... not only tasty but such a huge portion. Get the fresh onions and salsa on the side and you can decide how much you want if it. * The country fried steak was tender and that is some of the best gravy that comes with the Ranch Hand. Recommend opting for the fry bread for an extra 1.75... totally a treat! *Service was attentive and friendly * Dining room views of the outside was pretty. * Didn't stay at the lodge but would consider it given the pretty landscaping and access to a restaurant within walking distance... a good restaurant. *Clean restrooms *Can get busy when tour busses stop *Def will return

Somewhere along the line, we missed the boat. I ordered the Lumberyard mac & cheese and added pulled chicken and roasted poblanos. My goodness it was a lot of food. The mac & cheese was good, not southern good, but still good. The poblanos were a perfect addition but the chicken was drowned in a cloyingly sweet BBQ sauce. I definitely wouldn't order the chicken again. The hubs had the Santa Maria tri tip. The meat was tough. Quite a few pieces too tough to even chew. Luckily, my meal was huge so he had that to fill up on. I saw the 32 oz cocktails and the former party girl in me immediately kicked in. I think my husband saw the look in my eyes. Maybe the aura around me and put a kabosh on it immediately. I ended up with a 16 oz, still large but that inner 22 years old was disappointed. 32 oz and you should be stumbling down San Fransisco. 16 oz should have at least brought a big 'ol grin. But alas, I couldn't even taste the alcohol. That inner party girl didn't let out that big 'ol grin. (That's ok. The tolerance of 22 year old me has faded through the years). Enough digression, would we come back? Yes, I think it's worth a second shot. We would, however, try something different.

I'm not expert but I approach everything with unbiased expectations as much as possible. A quick Google search can provide high level insight even though it isn't necessarily consistent across all interactions or people. Initially I thought it was called Hogan because of a family last name but research suggested it is more about the Hogan traditional dwelling. Ambiance and decoration suggests that as well. Beautiful wood and earthy decor. Not overly bearing but rather great balance. People were kind but not overly attentive like I'm used to at American restaurants but again it is more aligned with communication styles and culture. Your experience could be different based on your server just like any other restaurant. Our server was kind, respectful and provided great service. He also would remember guests from different countries who shared sayings in their native languages which he repeated to us as greeting and also goodbyes. It was impressive and well thought which I appreciated. Now onto the food. I enjoyed my mutton stew with fry bread. I am used to more flavorful stews but this stew was cooked very well and delicious. I added a bit of salt and pepper but honestly it was good without it. Mutton was soft and not gamey. Vegetables were well cooked and soft. Fry bread was tasty and freshly fried. It was not overly greasy and excellent to rip and dip into the stew. I actually feel really good after my meal. Overall enjoyed it, again, because I was open and understanding of differences. No complaints about my experience. If you are stopping by for the first time, I hope you also have the same experience.

Very friendly staff and the food was good. If you're out this way stop in for a bite.read more

Funny, when we actually get here, I snagged a Mango Aloe Vera Jelly drink instead! There's a huge drink menu selection on the screens, a limited menu written on the sandwich board... and thank goodness I asked the cashier if that was the only food served (pointing to the sandwich board). She kindly mentioned there's a printed menu as well. I didn't want anything too heavy since we still had 2 more hours til our final destination. I ordered the Grilled chicken Caesar salad. And when my order arrived- my jaw dropped! Just looking at the chicken, you can immediately smell all those delicious (Italian seasoning?) herbs & spices! It was a huge serving of salad! I think they used a whole Romaine lettuce head! Juicy red, orange, & yellow cherry tomatoes too! An absolute bonus is, your lettuce is slathered in dressing! It's spacious inside with quite a few seats. Sit back and enjoy the air conditioning.

My mom had the burger which was also huge, and she really enjoyed it. All our sandwiches/burger also came with lots of fries and a lemonade, for only $13 which is a great value (especially compared to California prices). The staff was also friendly and helpful, and they sold boba which was interesting in such a small town! The only thing was there was a bit of a wait to get our food, it seemed like they were preparing each item one at a time. I would definitely recommend stopping by this cafe if you're in the area!
