My wife and I used to get best burgers whether beef or chicken in it with fresh lettuce as required while in Maryland or DC area prior to relocating in AZ in mid 2021. We have had our favorite spicy chicken burgers and fries from Cave Creek store a few times past two years, they were of worst quality and hard crusty with rotten romain leaves in them. In last month, we ordered again under a coup for two chicken burgers and fries. We were totally disappointed and almost threw up after trying to eat them. My wife and I couldn't imagine how on earth being in Cave Creek, AZ, the quality of food at Burger King be so bad....!!! We will never recommend anyone to eat fast food at a Burger King store so long we live here in AZ. Customer service and the McDonald's brand is not what it used to be. Brought my 7 year old in to get an ice cream and myself some food. Was told after a couple minutes of talking through sweets menu that ice cream wasn't available. Girl working the counter saw our disappointment and just stood there. Went in for lunch. I ordered fiery chicken fries on the kiosk. When my food was ready, Glenda, the manager informed me they were out of fiery chicken fries. I asked why a sign or anyone wasn't notified they were out of that item, she than proceeded to yell and immediately sounded frustrated stating they haven't received their delivery truck yet. To the point the other employees had to apologize on her behalf. I find it odd and a shame the manager is the one that was unprofessional during my experience at the restaurant. This is new location. I'm so happy it's here as Carl's Jr. down the road closed. It's closest fast food burger place near the high school next to Walmart, so I predict it'll be very popular. My son loves their whopper and Jr. whopper for me. Their onion rings are also yummy. They have drive-thru window so this morning, I decided to get an order of hash browns to go with my coffee. Ordered on the mobile app, the manager stated they didn't get it, confirmed the address, date and pickup time, manage said well we didn't get it and walked away. Poor customer service, no offer to help or tell me to go to the app to ask for a refund or offer to make the food I ordered and you could clearly see in the app which I had pulled up, just walked away. Keep in mind they were even that busy, no one in the drive through and two kids that placed an order right before me. This is the last time I will come to this location. 5 stars or 1 star? Ok, let's be real, the only time in history any fast food restaurant ever got 5 stars is from Ronald McDonald's mom. When all things are considered like friendliness, cleanliness and the quality of the food I have to honestly say that my experience eating at this location wasn't that bad. The counter person was upbeat and helpful and didn't look bored. I know that's like telling your sister she's really not THAT ugly but it counts. Service time was fast and the place is spotless, but again that's a qualified compliment because after all they are brand new. I ordered the new Double Quarter Pounder King without thinking at the time, holy cow (um, sorry) that's a half pound of meat. If you, like me, prefer your hamburger to be meat, cheese, bun and maybe a pickle slice you will be in nirvana with this burger. There is absolute no frilly foo-foo half-wilted veggies or anything else to distract from the taste of meat and cheese, and yes there is enough of both that you can actually taste them. There was also a smattering of chunks of raw onion and despite the horrified warnings of big city food critics that you NEVER put ketchup on a hamburger, the Double Quarter Pounder King was in your face with a huge dosage of tangy red good old American ketchup. I would have been in ham(burger) heaven except when the clerk told me the price ... $8.39 for one burger and a small "value" drink, the burger alone is $6.29. Are you kidding me, Burger King? You actually think you can compete against Five Guys, Smashburger, Culvers, Fuddruckers and all of the other burger joints that are competing in that price range? Answer: I don't think so. I liked my burger but I will never buy one again at that price. On the not-so-flip-side of this review are two things ... first is that the only place they tell you that price before you buy it is in lettering smaller than a cockroach riding a tricycle on their reader board. That sort of rubs it in, doesn't it? You've got a Godzilla-sized poster in the window publicizing this new burger, I think it borders on dishonesty to hide the price in such tiny text behind the counter. The other questionable, if not weird, thing is after I got my drink I came back to the counter and found the counter clerk holding my burger in his bare hands ... just the burger, which he was handing to me and when I looked a little surprised he offered " do you want me to just hand it to you"? This Burger King is a little further out of the way for us but easier to get in/out than the one on Quail Ave/Cave Creek Rd. We've eaten here several times in the last year and the meals are very hot and tasty including the fry's which I think are better than some other nearby places. read more

From Inside the store. I ordered 2 crispy chicken sandwiches from the mix and match menu. With only cheese pickles and ketchup along with a few other things. I go to grab my food check to make sure every thing is there. I am missing a chicken sandwich and they gave me the wrong on. They give the chicken sandwich on the hoagie role. I said this is wrong. The order taker was somewhat confused. Grabbed the manager I told her the problem. After feeling like she needed to comment on how it wasn't there mistake. They proceed to fix my order. I even said I would keep the hoagie chicken sandwich and only make me the 1 one more crispy chicken sandwich from the mix and match. I wait. My order comes. Another hoagie. I'm like. Hello. I pointed at the menu and said that is what I want. I don't want this I want the crispy chicken on the round bread. The order taker said. You want a whopper impossible? AT 10.30 this morning my husband picked up our order. We live 5 minutes away. THE FOOD WAS STONE COLD. The fries were apparently made last week or at least tasted that way. My sandwich bore little resemblance to a Cheese bacon burger. It has enough mayo on it for ten sandwiches. Cold greasy and tasteless. My husbands sandwich was not what he ordered. I was heading to Walmart yesterday and decided to stop at Burger King and relax for a few minutes. Nope, the dining room was locked because they didn't want to deal with counter traffic. The drive thru at this restaurant is notoriously slow and I didn't want to eat in my car. So I went across the driveway to Firehouse Subs and really enjoyed their food while relaxing in a comfortable dining room. So I guess the lazy BK crew did me a favor after all. read more

I normally reserve ratings such as these for more of a sit down restaurant type place, but I've been to this location quite a few times and the service is amazing! Obviously the food is fast food so there isn't anything special there, though I seem to get fresh fries etc. quite often. As with many new establishments, they have a TV that has the news on it which is convenient for catching up on things while you wait, though I've never really had a very long wait. The people there could represent BK in a commercial though. Super friendly and helpful from their whole staff, and actually kind of made you feel like you were part of a community, which granted its Cave Creek so it is a smaller town, but generally you don't get that feeling from one of the largest fast food chains in the country.
