I can confidently say this is the most incompetently operated business in Virginia, maybe farther. This isn't based off one experience either. Usually a visit starts with waiting at the drive thru speaker for a few minutes, only for them to tell you to come inside to order. You have to find which door is unlocked because it's never all of them. Then they're out of everything. Even the Coke machine is out of almost every drink. You wait about 15-30 minutes on a slow day for food. Based on how slow they are and how they don't restock or operate the drive thru, that tells me they aren't keeping up with cleaning, pest control, food service equipment, maintenance, etc. the food is probably way below standards for safety. I've been here when employees are physically fighting with each other or customers. I also found a loaded gun in the bathroom here a few years ago. If I could give a zero stars I would. My family stopped in after an event in Doswell. If my children were not complaining of being so hungry we would have left. Idk if it was the dirtiness of the restaurant or the cashier wearing a hat with a large marijuana plant on it that should have been our first sign to leave. We will NEVER come back here. We stopped on our way to a concert. We ordered online and selected drive thru pickup. We went to the drive thru and were told we had to come inside. We come inside and she would not let anyone request status and said she would call out orders when they were ready. Drive through wasn't moving so we went inside. The inside was nasty like it never gets clean, sticky floors, wrappers on the ground, trash can over flowing etc. There were like 2 workers and they couldn't move any slower, one appeared to be on Facetime while, standing in front of take out bags but not doing much of anything. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. But the front door, dining room, and bathrooms were very dirty. The food was also pretty bad. I ordered a burger with no bun and we could hear the kitchen loudly complaining about it. They ended up putting mayonnaise on a wrapper followed by the bun and other toppings. It made no sense and made it more difficult than it needed to be. The food was cold even though we ate in the dining room as soon as we got it. I understand there is a shortage of workers, however, this was down right the shittiest most sorriest Burger King ever! The only non kitchen person working was the drive thru order lady. The guy running the orders for the drive thru just stood there. The "manager" I'm assuming, was sitting on her Walker, fine. However when the drive thru lady told her she had a line at the she said ok and then just sat there. A few min later the drive thru lady came over and started taking orders when the manager turned and said everyone needs to use the kiosk to place their orders. They have 2 kiosk, and one is broke! Their soda machine is out of soda. Their trash stations have no trash cans in them. Trash is all over the floor, napkins, straws, and cup lids are all over the front counter where they take your order. They tell you to get your own cups which requires you to lean over the front counter. Beside the kitchen staff, the only person working up front was that one lady. Everyone else was lost in their own world of not doing anything! She kept informing them that she got off at 2, and at one point took her headset off, and I swear if we would not have been standing right there, I truly believe she would have walked out! It's not bad! Our family stopped by here on our way home from Kings Dominion Park and the food was served alright. The taste was good though, better quality than I anticipated.
