I've stayed away from Burger Kïng due to their bad ratings but at the same time had been craving a Whopper with cheese so I gave them a try. There was no one in the drive thru which scared me but I proceeded to place my order. The young lady at the window was nice enough. Food- Whopper with cheese value meal. It looked freshly prepared with a little too many onions, I removed the bun before eating cuz I hate surprises after the fact, everything looked and tasted good. Who adds meat back to a veggie burger?? This cost 15.00! and it was not fit to eat. I wanted to say that I had to speak with the manager Ms. Jori, and she was very pleasant! She fulfilled my order without hesitation. I also noticed that the workers were working instead of acting foolish like I've seen in the past, and the store was very clean. So, her leadership as I see it is a plus to this Burger King. I ordered a whopper jr. meal, with extra mayo. As I waited for my order in the lobby I took a 360 scan of the place and it was grotesque. I then peered beyond the front counter where I could see the cook area where the food is dressed and prepared. From the the lobby-area, just behind the cashier you could see garbage all over. The area hadn't been cleaned in what appeared to be hours. There was tons of old food, used food wrappers left on the counter. On the floor and in the corners the filth was worse. The corners were black and the floor was almost undetectable due to all of the food, lettuce, and trash all strewn about. It was bad. So bad that I decided I no longer wanted BK. I wanted to cancel the order but the manager didn't know how to refund the $5+ change back onto my card. Management didn't try to remedy the issue. He just said oh well. Needless to say, I left with NO refund and NO meal and OUT $5+ change... On the bright side, it cost me just $5 to learn not to ever eat at Burger king again. read more

Sandwich had so much mayonnaise you couldn't eat it. It was legitimately wet. The bread just fell apart. Workers were so loud that it was off-putting and we ended up sitting in the car to eat, not to mention blasting rap music in the kitchen. No ice, half the drinks were out in the drink machine. When I asked for ice, they had to scoop it out by hand because the machine in the back was broken. The floor in the dining area was gross, trash everywhere and food/crumbs all over the seats. Honestly, I should have know when I seen the B-Rating (82%). If corporate seen that place they would (and should) shut it down. I guess this is acceptable to the Fayette Co. health department? I feel obligated to write more, but it probably won't do any good. Clearly the quality and experience means nothing. The lady who rang us up was nice, but I couldn't get over the lady in the back screaming rap at the top of her lungs. Horrible! I ordered food at 7:20 am. The asst mgr/cashier had an attitude when I asked could I have the sugar and cream for my coffee before pulling down to wait. After 20 mins and noticing they were trying to clear the drive thru I circled bk around to the window for my food. The woman caught a worse attitude bc I told her all my food wasn't even in my bag. The least you can do is have my order correct after I had to wait. She gets mad and says she didn't bag my order, it's only two of them working, etc. She had the cook come up and try to fix my order but when I asked for a receipt they wouldn't give me one. They said they were out of receipt paper. When I told the guy to give me the store number, cashier name, and total I paid he said he had to get bk to work. The whole time I'm wtg for the "mgr" to come bk she is rolling her eyes and ignoring me. Then she called the cops and lied saying I blocked their drive thru for 45 mins. I actually didn't and the first 25 mins I was pulled down wtg for food. She second 20 mins I was wtg for them to bring me bk my receipt information! I've noticed lately that 100% of the times I've gone through the drive through they'll have me pull up before getting my food, even if there are no other cars in line. The manager this time said the fries needed to cook and she got belligerent when I said I'd wait at the window. Here's what's happening, one of their metrics rates them on time to complete order and they are trying to cheat the system by having every drive through order move out of view of the camera at the window. If they are being this deceptive with this measurement then it stands to reason there are other issues as well. The manager turned and walked away from me when I tried to ask her about it. This was the sorriest BK we've ever had to endure!! Our order was simple: 2 whoppers cut in half one with no onion and one with no lettuce or pickle, Lg onion Ring and 8 pc nuggets.
