okay first off , this burger king is slow as hell. this place should not even be called "fast" food because I've never been to a Burger King that has you sitting there at the window for 20 minutes at a time (there was literally 2 cars in the drive through...) also, the staff is RUDE and not compliant whatsoever. they forgot a drink, sauce (WHICH THEY MAKE YOU PAY FOR) and a fork. so we told them that they messed up to which they told us to go back through the drive thru to get everything that they didn't give. so we went back through and they gave us the drink with no straw , no napkins, no sauce , and they couldn't give us a fork at the window , they told us to come inside for it. So then when my friend was going to eat her burger after all of this , she saw that it has lettuce and tomato which is literally on the receipt that she didn't want lettuce or tomato. Avoid this place like the plague. Came in here when I was desperate for a quick burger... boy was I wrong. The staff was slow, careless, and unwilling to help. I was given the wrong receipt so I didn't even know my number. It took so long to order that the line was very slow with many people waiting around the counter it actually made it hard to get to the front to get my order when it finally came out. Over salted fries, the burger itself was not even warm enough to melt the cheese. I also asked for extra pickles and onions and if anything they were lite on the pickles and onions. Very disappointed. I'm aware that Burger King isn't going to be a gourmet meal but there is a level of decency I've come to expect from certain fast food places. I find fast food disgusting and gross. The only positive thing that can come out of a Burger King is that the food comes out quick. That is not the case in this location. I don't know what I was thinking, but after seeing ads for their new 89 cent pancakes, I decided to check them out. When walking in I was greeted by the smell of grease and the sight of cleaning supplies, chairs still on the tables, the floors and tables dirty and marks covering the walls. Nobody was in the restaurant, but it took forever to order the food. I simply ask for the pancakes and it takes forever. Nearly, 10 minutes. Two come in and are not even helped while I just stand there. The worst thing is an employee came in late and she was yelled at in front of me. I saw the pancakes being warmed up in the microwave too, but it is 89 cents. The man behind me asked for a croissant roll, which they did not have even though it is a main "ingredient" for many breakfast items. They told him they would have to wait 30 minutes just to get his croissant roll. Food wise it was a disaster. I'm not a syrup person, but I always like some butter. However, they didn't give me a single butter packet. C'mon. How do you remember syrup, but not butter. If you are out at least tell me. They didn't give me the promotion box either. The pancakes smelled really delicious. Like fresh batter. It wasn't that gosh though. It was too sweet and having no butter didn't help. This is the absolute slowest service of any restaurant I have ever been to. They should literally be ashamed of themselves. How any manager allows the service to be this slow is unforgivable. I usually give the employees a break because these problems usually stem from up on high. But not in this case. The rot is fully vertically integrated. Let me start with I (used to) Iike BK - but this place was something else. I walked in (mask on) and the kitchen looked like a bomb went off. Food counters were covered with discarded food, packaging, debris from poorly made sandwiches, other stuff that was unidentifyable - just gross. The fryer baskets were stacked up (piled up) sort of on top of the fryer but no fries were being made. The person at the counter was doing something with money (looked like hand feeding a stack of bills into a machine under the counter). She then took my order - then went to get my order - never washed her hands from handling money, touching machines etc., just touched my food, put it in a bag and handed it to me. Went to Burger King in Havertown today 7/11/20. Got in line at 4:40 pm. Finally got to place my order almost 20 minutes later. Placed my order for whopper with cheese no pickles and a second whopper with cheese with no tomatoes and extra onions. Went to pay for my meal and the young man was taking another order. I had to wait and extra 10 minutes before he took my money and I asked him what the hold up was. There was nobody in front of me and he stated that he couldn't take my payment until he was told that he could. I finally got my order. When I got home the whoppers were ice cold. My car broke down and I took refuge at this Burger King. It was about 5:30-6:00 and my phone was completely dead, I had no way of calling for help so I walked In with my phone and charger In hand after an 11 hour shift and an overheated car that would not power my phone. When I walked In there are people seated but the staff was less than friendly. I sat down to let my phone charge and could hear the staff complain about people being in the dinning room and yelling at someone to lock the doors. I had to step out for a moment and tried to walk back in and indeed the doors were locked and I was ignored. After my car was taken care of my daughter and I decided to buy some dinner and went through the window where we had to wait some 25 minutes only to be handed the wrong order. We went through the window again and let's say the staff was not customer service friendly. They remade our order with bits from parts of the old order. It was obvious and reheated and in the matter the crumpled food bag was handed to us we decided to eat something else as for fear of being handed someone's bodily fluids. Did you ever eat a Slim Jim? Picture a Slim Jim in a hotdog roll. The hotdogs were burnt, black, thin, cold, and nasty. I took one bite and didn't know what I was chewing on. Spit it out. Looked at the other hotdog. Same thing. The commercials advertise these things as a completely different looking hotdog and they are far from the truth. Stay away. Hubby raved about the Impossible Whopper at a different BK, so we decided to try it in the Havertown BK. It was awful - as if it had been sitting around for hours. The store should have been embarrassed to serve it - dry, quite cold, flat (not how an impossible burger should be and not like the one hubby had previously at a BK), totally overcooked (it is difficult to overcook an impossible burger so there is no pink), a few pieces of soggy lettuce, a tiny bit of sauce (tomato and onion were fine). It was a waste of money and calories, and we did not feel up to complaining at the time. Will not be returning to Havertown BK!
