I noticed that the WENDY'S employee wasn't wearing gloves when he retrieved the cookie from the cookie display (immediately upon operating the cash register to ring up my order). He placed it into a cookie bag. After he retrieved and bagged my cookie, rather than hand it to me so I could leave, he immediately turned and walked away and disappeared out of sight into another room. As he was walking away with my cookie that I had already paid for, I firmly stated "Please give me my cookie, sir!". He ignored me and continued to walk away and disappeared. This WENDY'S employee's questionable actions made me feel very uneasy! Unsure as to why a WENDY'S restaurant employee would feel the need to disappear out of sight with a customer's food (after it had already been paid for), I felt that it would be best to exit the restaurant without my order. I notified WENDY'S corporate office via email. I did receive a short email response from a WENDY'S Area Director named Chimere Lynn telling me that it would be looked into. She also requested my credit card number so that she could issue a refund. I refused to provide her with my credit card information. (If cannot trust WENDY'S with my food, I'm certainly going to provide them with my credit card number!). Instead, I disputed the charge with my credit card company. I'm very disappointed with WENDY'S in BROOMALL, PA. They've lost me as a customer forever!

Uber Eats confirmed HAB was 100% responsible for the promotion and promotion details. ISSUE ONE: DECEPTIVE MARKETING Uber Eats Promotion: BOGO Burger for $7.49. We decide to give it a try, never heard of Have-A-Burger. The business is located in an ice skating ring, think an expanded snacks counter. When placing the order through Uber Eats, there is a required selection for burger type, each option with an add-on price...no way to proceed without add-on pricing. This means that the BOGO Burger is really only BOGO Roll and Lettuce. There is NO WAY to check out with any Burger BOGO at the advertised price, 100% impossible. That is issue #1, and Uber Eats allows any vendor to write up anything and zero enforcement so restaurants can write up anything they want...totally allowed and zero consequences. $7.49 BOGO clocks out at minimum price $14.49, as if two burgers would be close to $30.00. ISSUE TWO: WHERE'S THE BEEF? Swear if you hold up the burger to the window you will see daylight. I haven't seen a burger this thin in my life.
