I came to this location, looking to redeem some Crowns from their rewards program for a drink. When I had some troubles with the app, I asked the employee why I wasn't getting a number code or a QR code to scan. Not only did the employee make me wait through four completed drive thru transactions, but they didn't have a clue about what the Crown rewards program was or how you redeem them. They called a manager over and it was the same thing...not a clue! The manager finally told me she didn't have time to deal with me and just gave me a drink for free. Well, I suppose that was nice but I wasn't looking for a free handout and the attitude was uncalled for. Burger King corporate needs to know about this location and its incompetent employees. Some retraining or rehiring needs to be done here. I would not visit this location again in the future. read more

Came here and had the most delicious whopper with cheese no onion no pickle my favorite. My husband had the new Texas burger with Swiss cheese, bacon mushrooms, Swiss cheese. I had a bite of that. It was also delicious. Much better than Mickey D's. For the first time in a long time, we actually went inside to eat. We were negatively surprised by our visit to this BK. A week ago we did have a good meal at a Libertyville BK. But this time not. My spouse wanted the Crispy wraps, which are advertised as "Each of the new BK® Royal Crispy Wraps features crispy white meat chicken, juicy tomato, crisp lettuce, " The wraps were cold on the outside and she figured out later that her wraps were missing lettuce and tomato! She also thought they had substituted a chicken NUGGET in one wrap. Pretty bad. My $5 meal was okay and the chicken nuggets were okay. From the other reviews here, it seems that BK is pretty much a hit-or-miss kind of thing. If you are there when someone gives a s--t, you might get a good meal. On the other hand, McDonald has a much more consistent quality in our experience. McD is still winning the war in my opinion! read more

I'm sorry, call it a bad mood, maybe I'm super hormonal, but this place is just god awful at getting orders correct. Not big orders. Two meal type of orders. And not ONCE has this place gotten it right. Tonight just broke the camels back. I burnt our stew that I was cooking all evening while distracted with helping my kiddo do her homework. My husband offered to run out. For me, he ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with no lettuce or tomato, and a sprite. They gave him a Dr Pepper and a regular crispy chicken sandwich with tons of lettuce and tomato. Literally the exact opposite of what I ordered. I just don't get it. It's really not that hard (and before anyone thinks I'm being judgmental or petty, I work in customer service, so I know what it means to get things right for customers). And it's not like it was the dinner rush, it was at 10 PM. He said the place was empty. So it's not like there was a huge rush and they were overwhelmed. I told him that they would get my order wrong, they always do no matter what it is. He didn't check and just drove home. Which is fine. It is what it is. I scraped the toppings off and added hot sauce, but the tomatoes and lettuce just make it all soggy and it's just unpleasant. I treat myself to something like this maybe once a month.... Awful service!! I drive from Kenosha WI twice a week I stopped Tuesday I asked for a croissant with just bacon they put egg and cheese on it i had to give it away. I asked for extra bacon both times and both times it did not happen. I am now sitting here Wednesday with a croissant with 1 and a half pieces of bacon on it. The lady told me to call her if something happens ever again just this morning. So I called BIG MISTAKE. She made me feel like it was my fault they yet again messed up my sandwich by saying I did not say extra bacon. And I did not get a receipt both times. So the call me statement was ill placed as I didn't even have a receipt with the phone number. Its sad to me that I drive an Hour two days and spend my hard earned money for the easiest breakfast in the world. Then she says well we give you free extra bacon next time. I said that's if I ever come back and hung up. Awful service! I'm very upset about it I'm not from this area so this WAS my go to. I highly doubt I ever go there again. It's Burger King, it's fast food, I avoid places like this as much as I can. I do break down occasionally and eat at unhealthy places ... it's easy for me to choose this particular Burger King over "quality" hamburger joints, the people that work at this BK care about the service they provid. I've actually noticed some of the people that work there have been there for decades. I find everybody that works there to be very hard working, kind and fast. What impresses me the most is that they never try to pawn off food that is cold or toppings that don't look fresh like a lot of other places. As far as those self serve "mixer" fountain drink dispensers go, those gross me out. Its bad enough you have to enter most places by grabbing the same door handles as everyone else, but now if you want a soft drink you have to touch the same touch screen as everybody else. I don't consider myself a germophobic but eating food with your bare hands after touching the same object as every other person is asking to get sick. Isn't this the same reason we don't like seeing cashiers handling money and then our food ? These types of self serve dispensers make as little sense as sneeze guards over buffets that do nothing to shield sneezing kids. read more

Usually I really love this place, this is the only BK I ever go to. Service is pretty good, restaurant is always clean, the only thing that's been lacking badly is the drink machine. I won't be coming back here until that thing gets fixed, always missing a bunch of drinks and the ones that are available taste off, as if they're mixed in with faucet water, like a strong pipe taste. So I'm on my way home from Palatine and my young daughter calls me and asked me to pick up some BK since she doesn't like MD's. So I go out of my way to go to get some BK for the family. I ended up going to the BK in Highland Park so that I could hust get on RT 41 to get to home in LF. Well I place my order at the drive thru. I repeated my order 4 times so that it was correct. Get to the window to pay $21.00 for 3 meals. Repeated my order again to the lady. Take her and her assistant 10 extra minutes just to give me my 3 drinks and take my money. Then another 5 minutes after that to get my food. She hands me the bags. And repeats the order to me which is wrong. I then tell her that I had 2 or and 1 ff but she puts 3 ff in my bags. She then gets that corrected. I get all the way home to start to eat with my family. To find out that my sandwich's are all incorrect. I then call the phone number on the receipt and no answer. I keep calling and start getting hung up on with no one answering the line. I call the following morning (today) 5/21/2015 and still no answers. I will never ever stop in this BK or any other BK. This place SUCKS AND HAS BAD SERVICE. THIS IS NOT THE WAY YOU HANDLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

I'm actually impressed. Clean, well kept. Grown adults who speak english and have customer service experience. All so odd for a fast food place. Kinda felt like I was in the Twilight Zone.
