One of our go to's has been through some big changes of late so we stopped in to check in on them to see how they were doing, you should too. Happy hour is still a thing, but the nachos are no longer part of it :( https://www.raviniabrewingcompany.com/index.php/home/rebrand-announcement

This place is legit! Right when we walked in, we felt like we were the only ones there. Undivided attention from the bartender and server, quick food service, and awesome music and environment. The bartender, Darrick, gave us the best beer recommendations and was a great conversationalist! Definitely make your way here when you can. We will be back! The quesabirria was unreal!

Our server was the sweetest guy and super attentive. He cared about making sure we got everything we asked for. Another worker also offered us milkshakes for free and they were Devine! I would come back for the milkshakes alone. The place is quaint and not huge inside but it does have outdoor seating and the wings were good. I enjoyed myself great place to stop after a show at the Ravinia.

Fantastic food and Beer. We tried three kinds of tacos, the cheeseburger and the churros! All were Very well made - the meat in the tacos was moist and juicy, while the cold toppings were bright and crisp. And sooo glad we chose to grab the churros for dessert - warm and crispy, with a vanilla filling and cinnamon sugar on top, served with chocolate and pineapple dipping sauces. The food truck pilsner was also great - crisp and refreshing - very easy drinking. Our waiter was friendly and attentive - great service. Will definitely return. Keep up the great work. Cheers.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place!! A little bit of a dive bar feel with outstanding food. We came for a late lunch on a Sunday and it was pretty quiet. Bartender was quick, and every beer we tried was great. We actually bought a six pack of the Steep Ravine for ten bucks to take home. I got the carnitas tacos and it was PLENTY of food. The shells were thick, warm, and unique. I'd never had such soft and thick corn shells before. The tacos were very authentic. My boyfriend got the burrito and it was also delicious. It was exactly what we were looking for and we got great service for a very reasonable price!

Small brewery with a neighborhood bar vibe. Above average beer, great nacho chips, terrific bartender, streaming hippie music. Could easily spend all afternoon here. Full bar. Sufficient Mexican food menu, but this is a bar, not a restaurant

    Does the patio welcome dogs?

Hi - we welcome dogs in the front patio, but unfortunately the beer garden is artificial turf placed on top of concrete so a bit confusing to our furry friends. Please feel free to bring the pups and hangout in our tables upfront though!

I loved the Detroit style pizza because of the crunchy bits of the edge pieces. While the edges were really crisp, the dough was moist and had a nice chew. The crust really stood out the most while the toppings were secondary. We ordered almost one of each kind of pizza but enjoyed the US Pizza Cup Winner the most. The bacon jam was unique as well as the dollop of Ricotta on top. I liked the creamy texture of the ricotta on top. The other pizza that stood out was the New York Style white Pie. Simple, tasty and thinly crusted. It had a nice light garlicy taste with shredded basil on top of the mozzarella. We were celebrating my birthday and had a large party of 17. We stuck around for the Trivia Night which was a fun activity for the adults. I really liked the atmosphere-- a slew of different flavors of hard ciders, beer, wine to drink, talk with friends, and engage in a collaborative activity. I would definitely want to come back. The staff was friendly. I got to spin the wheel for my birthday and won a free beer. The server gave me a sample of the pickled pear hard cider before committing to a whole glass. I usually don't drink alcohol, but I enjoyed it. It felt appropriate to kick off the summer with this fruity beverage!

It's spacious and a super cool venue, which was used for my daughter's high school fundraiser last weekend. I visited Double Clutch twice within one week. The first was a meeting held at the venue right before the event where everyone got to enjoy some beer (except those of us who don't love beer and opted for water) and some of the food that would be served at the event the following weekend. I munched on some turnbuckle pretzels, fried buffalo bites and cauli wings- all were pretty good! A few days later we sold out with a 300 person event, although honestly we could have fit way more in the space because there was plenty of room to move around. The band Go Ask Your Mum was playing lots of fun 80s and 90s hits, there was a buffet of the food we had tried a few days beforehand and the bar was busy. I opted for wine, which was good. The acoustics here aren't great, which i noticed during the meeting and during the event. The band was fun to listen to, but i could hardly hear anyone i was speaking to. But that's really my only complaint since it's a great space!

As for the beers here, the selection is kind of limited. It's about $7 a pint. Best one we got was the Sour Belgian Monkey Strong Ale. It's 9% ABV and certainly strong. For food we went to The Otherdoor. It's about $11 for a few tacos. Also Maevery Public House is next to here. There's lots of close by restaurants and stores. Have a good time with beers and games. It's just beers on the menu but you can still bring in stuff. They're open every weekday and open longer on weekends.
