New revamped Burger King. This location was closed for a while but they're back with a modern look. The have nice self serve kiosks now that allow you to customize your order. The staff were smilingly nice and friendly. I was in there mid day and I don't know if it was the sun through the new windows but it was a little bit hot inside. The food was what you expect just regular BK. One thing was the ketchup dispenser was a little Sus' it was coming out kinda goopy. I've dined in at this location a couple times for lunch since the new version opened and it's generally a good experience. However, I went there last night after the gym and waited in the drive thru line for 30 minutes. I had already placed my order on the app, so I couldn't really just give up and leave. When I got to the window I could see 4 or 5 workers in there. They were all just kind of milling around looking at tickets, looking at screens, not doing much of anything. I sat at the window for 5-10 minutes then finally got my food with no "sorry for the wait" or anything. The food was accurate and fresh so I give them props for that. I had high hopes for the new building to be an improvement from the old store. It turns out that the food and service are still sub par.

I've come to this Burger King from time to time over the last decade or so when I am in the area. This time I came here on a lunch break to try the Ch'King sandwich and see how it fairs in the chicken sandwich war. It was actually really good! Not as big as some of the ones I have seen on social media, but it was thick and juicy and well worth the trip over here. I was not a fan of the pickles, they were a bit thick and not as crunchy as I like, but the rest of it was a winner. It was well cooked and if see the picture, was put together nicely, not smashed into a package. The people who worked here today were very nice, prompt, and professional. Overall good experience. For me, I liked it better than Chick fil A, but not as much as Shake Shack. It was way better than the Mc Donald's chicken (minus the Mc Chicken which is a favorite snack). So, I would order this again if it is a permanent fixture on the menu. I also order the onion rings. I really enjoy BK rings, especially their tangy dipping sauce. I favorite thing to do with them is put them in a whopper which is my normal order, but the chicken is worth a try from BK. read more

As is the case with any fast food chain and restaurant, the food is done per their recipe and processes. So you should expect consistent results and tastes from one restaurant location to another. That was the case here. I used the Burger King App and ordered two Bacon Cheeseburgers, a Small Fries, and a Small Drink. I got exactly what I ordered and items were hot and the expected taste. The greeting when I entered was friendly and came with a smile, the ordering process went quickly, and I was given my drink cup to fill while I waited for my order. They have one of the newer drink stations that has a touch screen and I am getting used to them now. Plus they offer many more selections than the older drink stations...I found Raspberry Diet Coke! The dining area was neat and clean and, since it was not busy while I was there, it was very quiet. All things considered this was an above average visit to Burger King. Of course everyone will have their own experience; this was mine. read more

The Burger King in Lake Orion on M-24 has been consistently sub par!! Today TAKES THE CAKE....we were running late and stopped in For one.more.try. The speaker on the drive-thru had a note saying "closed due to connection loss". Drove to window and asked if we should order there, and were told "they dont do orders at the window".. DO NOT RECCOMENT, ordered food from here tonight had to wait over a half hour for my food, then when asking the employee about my order she claims I did not order anything, while trying to communicate with her she got loud and raised her voice, I tried to explain to her there was no reason to raise her voice, get loud and be disrespectful. She then continued to say she was not disrespectful and argue with me, instead of arguing she should have been preparing my food to get the problem solved instead of yelling and being disrespectful. This place is always a DISASTER! Yesterday I pull in there on a Sunday evening on the way home from Home Depot, pull up to drive thru and there is a note taped to the order speaker again, (last time was closed due to staffing) that said closed due to power outage. Well the digital ordering board was working just fine, so I pull up to the window, same note taped to the glass. Pulled up a little further because all the lights were on and people were eating in the dinning rom. I check my phone to see what time they close, 11PM well it was 5:30, a guy came out and was locking the door, I said why are you closed? Powers out he responds, I say clearly its not, all the lights are on, is the dinning room open? No that's just the staff were not going to reopen again today it would take too long. I responded, so the employees are in the dinning room eating the old food and your getting paid to be here and I'm a customer trying to pay for his food and I'm being turned away? That's just lazy! So this when it gets really fun, LOL, then a lady appears at the door and must of heard part of the conversation and came charging out the door at my truck. Naturally I take my foot off the brake to begin pulling away on seeing the large charging bull coming my way, she's screaming at me waving her fist yelling thank you sir, you have a good day now, over and over coming towards my truck, so I pulled back on to M24 and got out of there... I'm not sure what her intensions were.... she was still coming my way! LOL. Again this place is always a debacle, something always goes wrong whether the quality of the food, the service or other fun events like this one. Its the only burger king for quite a long ways from this location, so if you want a Whopper and your in Lake Orion maybe i would suggest just waiting until the next town... Don't bother trying to contact the corporate office or calling the store, NOTHING will get done about it, nobody cares, there's no accountability at this store. Awful. Rarely get good food here. Sure, I mean it's fast-food but this place is just really bad. The inside of this place is gross - perhaps it'd be nicer if it were cleaned more than once a year. The soft drink machine is confusing - it's a slow touchscreen thing that I've never seen anywhere else, and every other time I use it, the drink I request runs out in the middle of pouring my drink. My fish burger barely had any onions, pickles or lettuce. I go to this location in lake orion, and I'm a bit disappointed cause normally they do amazing with adding the perfect amount of ingredients..... Give a little extra- increase customer comeback. There was no line in the drive thru. I order, drove right up to the window, paid, and within 30 seconds of paying I had my food. My whoppers were hot a juicy. My cheesey tots were actually rather cold, but over all, good service. read more

I was surprised to see a 4 star rating on this place. The servers never get your order right and the tables are always empty. I will only stop in if someone I am with insists and now that my expectations are that the food will be wrong...ism not disappointed any more. Went by tonight for a late night snack around 11:30pm. No voice came through the intercom so I tried saying "hello" a few times but still nothing. So I pulled up to the drive thru window, which was wide open, and saw no one. No sounds of workers, nothing. I have never seen a drive thru completely empty on the inside, with the lights on and window open. It's like they were hiding out of sight because they didn't want to do anything. Not sure what it is, but this particular BK is not as good as any of the other BK restaurants that I've eaten at. None of the employees are happy. They mope around like they are mistreated servants in a medieval castle. The interior smells odd and is always way too hot. But the worst part is the food. Everything, including the drinks just taste a bit off. Don't get me wrong, it's edible. But so is a piece of shoe leather if you're hungry enough. Today I felt like getting something to eat and this BK was closest to my house. I ended up with a crispy chicken (I think) sandwich that was dark brown from being over-cooked (better than under-cooked though), burnt fries and a sprite that was really odd tasting. I returned the sprite for a coke that has a very light hint if a soapy taste to it. Probably best to skip this place just head to Checkers. You risk risk getting the squirts from Checkers, but hey, the food tastes pretty good. read more

The customer service here is surprisingly great!! They are super friendly and quick. Many times I get fresh fries and they compensate you for waiting by upsizing the fries. Minus one star for the extremely outdated interior. Kinda funny but embarrassing when you have out of towners with you and you have to explain why ya'll just stepped into the 90s. read more

Service is slooooow during lunch times. Restaurant is often dirty. Wait staff is a mixed bag. Some days they are very friendly, others they can barely be bothered to take your order.
