I got food poisoning.... Whoever the staff/cook was last night at around 12-1am on 8/27/2025 needs to be retrained in food safety and handling because I ordered a bacon cheese burger after driving back from Arizona and I finished it when I got home. I went to bed and woke up having the worst stomach cramps and diarrhea hours later. Then, today I woke up feeling the same thing only this time I was throwing up the meal from last night as well. Mind you, I was eating fine throughout the day yesterday UNTIL I ate this. Worst experience ever! I usually stop by fast not expecting much but this trip to Burger King has to be the worse experience I've ever had. I went through the drive through everything was going well until I made it to the window and the guy doesn't tell me how much it is and snatches the money out of my hand I would've expected change back since I gave him $15 and all I got was whopper combo but instead he says to park and slams the window in my face and I begin to wait and wait. It was around an hour before I went inside and I to ask where my food was and they were asking for my receipt and I said I never received one but the guy had just told me to park. They ended up giving me my food and my change after talking to this young girl about the situation and got my change. It's our first time at this location but will definitely be our last. The cashier (I believe his name was Andy) was barely paying attention, and seemed very...air headed and unprofessional. We had to restate our orders multiple times. The food taste was poor (we all got number 5 breakfast and then one Whopper). The coffee doesn't even taste like coffee, it tasted like VERY lightly flavored hot water. Only thing decent we had was the hash browns. I was with my friend when we ordered 6 chicken sandwiches to feed us and her siblings back at home. We both had not so great days at work and wanted to just relax. We pull up to the window and ask the employee, Jose, if it was ok if we added a medium fry to our order. He says yes, then turns to the kitchen with about 3 people behind him, and yelled "12 more chicken sandwiches!" He turned to us with a big grin on his face, laughing. I got 1 regular whopper with bacon, 1 double whopper without bacon. I paid for the 2 doubles with bacon and cheese on both. This is another example of why people are upset with the minimum wage being $15 per hour. Shoddy workmanship! When I called, no answer. I let the phone ring until it hung up. I'm only giving two stars due to the gentleman working the drive thru. He was super sweet and personable. I placed my order using my mobile app in hopes that my order would be ready when I arrived and also accurate. My order was NOT ready when I arrived and I had to wait around seven minutes which is confusing because none of my food was hot. The chicken fries I ordered for my daughter appeared to have been repeatedly cooked and were inedible. The french fries were cold, and the mayonnaise on my whopper taste funny. Fast forward to that evening, and I had food poisoning. This was the only thing I had to eat all day so it's very apparent of what caused my food poisoning. This Burger King Franchise has issues. The last three out of five visits they wouldn't accept any order due to computer problems. This location has a very high employee turnover. Today (7-30-21) it too me 12 mins to place my order, and 3 more minutes at the window, to receive my order. The Whoppers I ordered were fine. The service is horrible.
