I would give the Burger King on North Main zero stars if the system allowed it. This is absolutely the worst Burger King that I have ever visited. First, the service is horrible. There is hardly anyone tending to the customers at the counter. All that the staff is concerned about is processing the drive-thru orders. I waited a good 10 minutes before I was waited on. Second, the quality of the food is not good. I ordered a Big King XL. As I unwrapped it the meat patty was only half-way on the bun, and the cheese was mostly sticking to the wrapper. There was hardly any lettuce, and there was way too much dressing. Also, the bun wasn't fresh. It crumbled apart as I tried to eat the burger. The fries were okay, but they could have been hotter. As for the cleanliness of the restaurant, there was a lot to be desired. There was trash left on most of the tables. I suppose that the staff was too busy servicing the drive-thru customers to clean up. There is no way I would recommend this Burger King to anyone. If I were the franchise owner I would be ashamed. Burger King Corporation needs to come in and inspect this dump and put the owner on notice. read more

The rudest people work here. Im a very fair person on how I review things so i want this to be clear. Ive been to many burger kings but never seen one with the kind of bad service. The lathrop burger king employees are very respectful and on this one (700 north main st.) its the complete opposite. So many people i know have said the same things. This morning the manager, I assume, was very rude. I arrived at the store drive-thru a little before 6am, my clock in my car says it's 6:04 but I realize when nobody acknowledged me that it was not 6 yet. I pull around to the parking lot and wait until 6:02 and then proceed to go through drive-thru again. I already saw that there were people in the there the first time I drove through but somehow nobody acknowledged me again. This time there was a car that pulled up right after me waiting as well until I told him that I don't know if there open because nobody is responding to me saying hello in the speaker. He backs out I go around again and this time I see the lady who I presume is the manager heading towards the front doors to unlock them. So I go all the way around to meet her at the drive-thru display signs she was switching around to ask her if they were open. Her reply was yes but it's too early; even though their sign for drive thru says they are open at 6am and by this time its 6:08. She tells me with an attitude to go ahead and order. So I order a coffee and pancakes which she told me my total and then repeated before I could say if I wanted anything else. I pull forward to pay and she shoves me my coffee which doesn't have the lid on right and coffee gets all over my pant leg. Then she does the same with my food, like she wanted to throw it at me if she could. I hurrily ask for the sugar and creamer that she didn't ask if I needed and she gives me a bag full of both. I don't like the way this place is being run because I have been coming to this place for over 12 years and in the morning the manager Cindy and the employee Sheryl were the best. If they were running behind even a little or I arrived early they would let me know that I would need to wait a bit instead of having me drive in circles trying to ignore me. Sheryl was amazing in the morning wonderful smile and friendly customer service; plus being there long enough she knew my order most times and always made sure I had my extras because she cared. Cindy was great she took her time to ask if I needed anything else when I was still ordering and would also smile and be friendly. I don't know what is going on now with this store because customer service sucks and sometimes the food you get is stuff that has been sitting for a while and is cold and stale. I would like to see better from this place. I'm the only person in my family who still likes coming to burger king anymore but after today I may be changing that. read more

I had the misfortune of using the drive-through at Burger King on Main St a few days ago. No problem with the service, it was quick enough, the problem was with the inability to get the order correct and then, adding insult to injury, shorting me on the change. I ordered their special hamburger (not sure what they call it), I requested no pickle but I wanted cheese added. They got the no pickle part right (which saved them money) but forgot to add the cheese (which cost me money - I think they add $1). The order came to $6 and change (I had a coupon) so I should have gotten $13 and change back. I didn't notice it right away but I only got $10 and change back from the clerk. I know the clerk didn't just screw it up because the register tells them how much changed is owed. I admit, not getting enough change is partly my fault, I should have checked but I never expected it. I guess the clerk felt he/she wasn't making enough and was trying supplement their pay. I think it will be some time before I go there again. read more

Well! I now know why this BK location has 2 stars. The wait in the drive thru was around 20 minutes. I ordered 2 original chicken sandwiches and 2 large fries. The sandwiches were nasty! Old lettuce and burnt bread. In addition the fries were cold. You would figure waiting that long the fries would be fresh! If their was a way to give zero stars I would. I gave this place a million chances. They take forever in drive thru. They forget orders often. If I can make it thru a drive thru in under 5 minutes it be a good day. Most the time it takes almost an hour! Oh this poor Burger King has issues!!! Stopped by for a quick bite yesterday & the drive thru had about 4 cars ahead of us. It took 45 minutes to get to the window & once at the window another 15 minutes to give us our 2 burgers! Those girls working there looked confused & had absolutely no idea what they were doing! The customer service at this Burger King is horrible. I went today and the employees treated my family & I poorly. I wasnt the only one being treated like absolute trash, all of the customers were being treated so poorly. My meal was poorly done & looked so old. I politely asked for a new one & the employee said "you asked for it well done." I had two employees argue with me before giving me a new burger. To top it off the nasty cook who was a Mexican women yelled "well she ordered it well done, that's how it comes" in spanish. Her attitude was disgusting, and the way she shouted that was disgusting as well. I'm Mexican, & all of those employees were Mexican with such poor manners. The eye rolling, shouting, & disrespect was just so unnecessary. Manager is also Mexican and is the same exact way. Wow. This is pretty rare when I feel compelled to leave a bad Yelp review. Decided to grab some fast food for dinner with the fam...at BK...this used to be a staple for when I needed a quick pick me up between classes at Sac State...so I figure maybe it will be as good as CSUS...wrong!!!! Manteca BK is not only outdated on the decor but kinda dirty. But hey no biggie...so I decide to try the grill dog...I mean how hard is it to make a grilled hotdog? Apparently pretty damn hard...I opened the bag and was staring at an almost black shriveled hotdog...and for less than 2 bucks I can go to Costco and grab a huge hotdog with a drink. The 2 bucks for this one was...whoa....ill post the before and after complaint pictures...one good thing about this place is that the manager was courteous and replaced the crapdog for one that actually looked like the picture on the menu... We don't usually eat BK locally, now I remember why. We hadn't had an original chicken sandwich, they used to be really good, one of our favorites. We went for the BOGO. Boy, what a waste. We got home and my husband ended up throwing 3/4 of his in the garbage! He said it was nasty! I hadn't opened mine yet, went to eat it, seemed a little dry, lettuce was all soggy, looked old. There's a Mexican lady named Rosa that doesn't speak English very well and you have to repeat yourself over and over and over and she still gets it wrong. I am incredibly disappointed in his they treated my husband! they refused our work given pay card and after not being greeted and treated like a complete inconvenience was told he had to come back with a different form of payment!!! Hello. About 5-10mins ago I attempted to eat at this location. Went through the drive thru. Pull right up to the speaker. Waited 3-5 just to place my order. Pull around and only 1 car in front of me. Takes another 5-7 minutes for the car in front of me to get their order. I'm looking inside at the counter and I noticed they are really not that busy there were two customers. I finally pull up to the window to pay and get my order and no one comes to the window they are busy talking to one another and getting the order of the one customer that was remaining inside. keep in mind I placed my order from the drive-through before that customer placed their order at the counter. at this point I'm annoyed I waited a solid two minutes and then I just drove off because obviously they didn't want to take my money and they didn't want to give me any food.
