Make sure its cooked first and think if you want that much mayo would you it. Kinda wild

Should be a bacon and swiss Jr. Whopper. It's definitely American cheese.

A very boutique winery, they specialize in natural wines - it was the first time I came across a winery that only served natural wines in the area! Founded in 2016, the winery produces only 2,000 cases a year. The wines are produced using locally grown estate grapes as well as grapes from Clarksburg, Acampo and Lodi. Their estate wines are grown in Pioneer at an elevation of 3,300 feet with 13 (!!!) different varietals on only three acres. They tend to be Rhone varietals as well as Barbera which does well in the area. They use neutral oak for barreling. The tasting flight at $10 had six different wines to sample. My favorite was the 2023 Phantom Limb Zinfandel which uses carbonic fermentation. With an alcohol content of 13.8% the certified organic grapes were harvested from the D'Agostini Shenandoah Vineyard using whole bunch fermentation. With concentrated dark red fruit notes, it had flavors of fruit punch with medium tannins. The other wine that stood out was the 2023 Strange Currencies, featuring Nero D'Avola. I am a huge fan of Sicilian varietals and this one did not disappoint. Strange Currencies was slightly more acidic with red fruit aromas and flavors of dark cherries and lots of tannins. This could easily be cellared for a few years. Finally the 2023 Little Faith, Skin Contact White was an orange wine using chenin blanc, pinot gris, chardonnay and orange muscat. It was bottled with residual sugar with a Cap'n'Crunch aroma on the nose and reminiscent of orange soda and lemon rind. It was considered one of their "large production wines" at 450 cases. With such unique names, the actual tasting room lended itself to the eclectic and whimsical wine labels. Lots of wood abounds with colorful original paintings. They are actually quite well known for their burgers, for $14 you can get grass-fed 6.5 oz patties with a variety of toppings. Imma coming back to try the food next. The patio outside is welcoming overlooking a garden area. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

I'm personally not a wine drinker, I dropped into their tasting room for the food. They were grilling burgers on the grill on the front patio. The smell of those burgers just hit me hard. I had to try one out. So glad I did, it's one of the best burgers I've eaten. Onto the food... ohhh that burger was outstanding. It's not any ordinary burger. Heck no. The 6.5 oz patty meat blend is a thing of lamb, bison, and Wagyu. I have never had that blend before. I can't stop thinking about it. Plus the chef caramelized the onions, spread a housemade mustard aioli, used quality white American cheese, and an artisan burger bun. Bam... delicious! $14. We also ordered a simple salad $5. Nice serving size. It was gorgeous looking and fresh tasting. The wine tasting room is modern, bright, and comfy. The staff is super welcoming. Wine tasting is $10. The End Of Nowhere wines was founded by Chris Walsh. His philosophy is sustainable farmed grapes, 100% native yeast fermentation, no filtration, minimal sulfur, neutral all aging.... gets you some delicious wine! In 2014, he came back to his childhood stomping grounds after many years working as a sommelier in New York City to plant a 10 acre vineyard in Pioneer, CA. Now the wine label uses those grapes and other local grown organic grapes. The shop also has a front and back patio area which the creek runs alongside. The back patio has a deck and lower plaza. The particular day I visited, there was no event or live performance so it was quite beautiful and serene back there. They do host a ton of events. Large shade trees and the creek running alongside (which right now is running at a low stream) sounding like well... a babbling creek. Check out their website endofnowhere.wine for their calendar of events. And they have a bunch of events lined up. Here a a few .... Art n burgers, wine tasting n chef sampling, oyster fest, and wine and local reknown chef dinners. Quality fine wine and dining taste with a small town welcoming vibe.

Hotel Sutter Restaurant has been on my list of places to check out in our neck of the woods for a while. We for sure wanted a classy place that served cocktails, and Hotel Sutter fit the bill. Both of us were also craving a good craft burger, and from what I saw in other reviews, the burgers looked delicious. I made a reservation for us on OpenTable just in case, but since it was a weeknight I wasn't too concerned if we had walked in. We were seated nearly immediately, and our server cheerfully asked us what we wanted to drink besides good ole H2O. I was really glad we came to visit around Christmastime, since they were serving holiday cocktails and other beverages. I went with the partridge pear martini, while my husband went with the Santa's spiced cider. My martini was oh so delicious and perfectly strong, and I had a small sip of my husband's cider, which was refreshing with the perfect holiday-esque notes. We read a few mixed reviews on the apps, so went straight to the entrees instead. I chose the bacon jam burger and my husband chose the traveller whiskey burger. Both of us upgraded to the garlic rosemary seasoning. I went with fries and my husband went with tots. Honestly, we were glad that we didn't end up ordering an app, since the burgers themselves were pretty filling! We both asked for medium on the cook temp of our patties, and they delivered. The meat was perfectly juicy with a wonderful charred flavor. The bacon jam was so delicious, and the balsamic arugula paired perfectly with everything. My brioche bun was pillowy and yet did not fall apart with all the juices of the burger. I did not get a chance to try my husband's burger, but he stated that it was also top notch. My fries were piping hot, with a perfect dusting of garlic rosemary flavor and sprinkles of Parmesan cheese. I tried a tot and that was also delightfully crispy and flavorful. We asked for ranch and that went well with both sides. The ketchup was great as well. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. Old buildings are always up my alley, and the rich history of Hotel Sutter can truly be felt simply by touching its brick walls (that is, if you believe in the spirit realm). I loved that each table had its own light, but the restaurant had the perfect dim setting for a classy date night. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and kept our waters refilled. We had a concern regarding the pricing of the cider on the bill vs on the menu and that was fixed immediately, with the rest of the staff notified for future reference. It was a tiny discrepancy, but one that we caught quickly and simply wanted to bring up. Hotel Sutter Restaurant is definitely on our places to return to in the future, and I'd love to sit on the balcony some other time and enjoy some brunch and mimosas. If you're looking for an excuse for date night or are just feeling fancy, definitely come relax, sip some delicious cocktails, and enjoy the delicious food Hotel Sutter Restaurant has to offer!

They kept them coming once we asked, and they were delicious every time. But we had to keep asking, and at one point, we almost gave up. That said, the service was pretty underwhelming, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy. We waited close to 20 minutes before getting our first drinks, even water. We had noted a special occasion on our reservation, but there wasn't really anything that made it feel acknowledged or special. We shared the skillet, and unfortunately it was extremely soggy. We literally poured liquid out of it multiple times. On the flip side, the lemon poppyseed waffle was a solid 10/10 and definitely the standout food item for us. I'm giving 3 stars because there's clearly potential here. The drinks were great, the waffle was amazing, and I do think this place could easily be a 5-star experience with more attentive service and a little more consistency in the kitchen. We'll definitely give it another try.

There's outside seating, but if the weather is hot, it's not fun to sit outside. Inside there are just a few tables, and it get stuffy, too. The second problem is that they're slow. It took a little over 30 minutes to get two burgers and an order of garlic fries the last time. They didn't seem overly busy, either, but it seems like they only prep one order at a time. While the portion sizes are on the smaller side, they were balanced and filling for what we wanted (as well as very reasonably priced), and we ended our meal with an in-house baked oatmeal raisin cookie. The cookie was huge and packed with oats but still delicious, with the proper texture and not overly sweet. Our sandwiches were simple yet delicious, with fresh ingredients and bread.
