So my wife and I don't eat "fast food" often, but we love this Burger King. Our food is always cooked perfect and we like to sit outside in the parking lot watching the cars and trucks go by. We find it's one of our fun spots for lunch. Weird? Not for us. The manager is so friendly and is right there working with the staff. We like it so much that we go there usually once a week for lunch. Sometimes we eat inside (it's clean) but usually we just "hang out" outside. I came by on the same day as daylights saving time for some hangover hash browns after a wedding the night before in which I had a high amount of alcohol, hosted an afterparty, and then woke up at an ungodly time to exercise in the morning while on 4 hours of sleep. When the only goal after the occurrence of that sequence of events is to put some tasty, greasy and fried food in your stomach, you can't say no to large hash browns. Burger King has the best burger (whopper) and best chicken sandwich (original chicken sandwich) which I find, personally, to be far superior than any McDonald's sandwich when done correctly. The issue? Lack of consistency, which McDonald's and other chains have down pat. As a former multi-year employee of McDonald's I can personally attest to this. Me and Jeff did some outdoor dining here for breakfast. And Jeff was being awfully particular. He wanted to eat somewhere in the mountains, he didn't care where. So I suggest Mount Everest, Mount Rushmore, Space Mountain. But Jeff wants to go here! And the views are fantastic! I feel like I'm on top of the world. The girl with pink hair, I think her name is Krissy, is great, gave us extra ketchup. So good. We used coupons, because we are cheap bastards. Jeff had the tour de Breakfast sandwich. Croissant-wiches of ham, bacon and sausage. He asked if they could put ground beef on one, and they said they couldn't, but would bring it up to corporate. The chicken sandwich I had on my last visit was not that appetizing. Unfortunately, I didn't find this out until I returned to work and took my first bite. It had a very odd consistency ; as if it had been steamed and microwaved. It was also and odd shade of white, with nary a grill mark on it. To their credit, service at the time of ordering was pleasant. No issues there. I ended up writing to their customer service via the company website. I received a response a few days later apologizing and it stated they would mail me a coupon for a free Whopper. Would I come back? Sure, I'll give them a second chance. But I probably wont chance it with chicken. read more

It's Burger King. Either you like their food or you don't. This one is alright, their prices are a bit steeper than the one near my house in Torrington, but that's probably some sort of regional pricing BS scheme. There's a 40-ish lady with blonde hair who works the breakfast shift that I love, she teases me when I don't get the burrito thingies, because that's what I usually get in the morning for breakfast (however that has come to a screeching halt...it seems like BK breakfast in general sits like a rock with me, and that's not exclusive to this particular location) There's a manager type with glasses and bushy dark hair who always seems to cop an attitude, but the other manager type who's there at lunch, Kris is also awesome. I can't rate the inside, I don't usually go in. I work nearby so I hit the drive through at lunch on occasion usually. read more

My good friends in high school used to work here, and so I'd end up eating here all the time. It's a great little spot right next to the freeway and the movie theatre. I loved the Western Whopper, when they had it. This place was also known for "hookin' us up" with tons of fries...haha Nostalgia! Damn, it's too bad I don't eat fast food anymore. it's a bk. they have veggie burgers. flat screen tv's on the wall. ok coffee. free wifi. parking lot layout kinda sucks. the entry on the main road is enter-only and the exit is at a steep angle that makes most cars scrape. the interior is nice for a bk (i think it was recently renovated) sort of high tech feel with tv's and brushed aluminum. big drive thru lane. the door has a "NO VIDEO CAMERAS ALLOWED" sign .. usually you see those signs on strip club doors. weird. veggie burgers are ok but they are microwaved. A lot has changed and has many employees now. Got my order quick and done right. The assistant manger is sweet and made sure an other persons order was taken right, and went out of her way when it was still wrong. Place is turning around and many improvements. All lights were on and the sign clearly states it is open until 1 a.m. The woman working purposely ignored me at the drive thru and proceeded to hide asIdrove around! I go here simply because its close to home. Most of the times I've not had a problem, but recently it has gotten worse. The interior is nicely renovated, the food is mediocre and with the menu changes it is also overpriced. I went through the drive thru around 8 pm and they parked me to wait for my fries. 5 other cars came and went. After 10 minutes I went in to see what was taking so long and they said they forgot about it. I got my money back and went somewhere else. If you go at peak hours service can take a bit longer, but is usually better. read more
