I'm just not terribly crazy about the "order at the counter" style of restaurant if I'm going out to eat. But, I belong to a group that decided to meet here for an event, so I ended up giving it another shot. The interior is still cute, and the concept is nice. I like that you can get mini/micro pours of things. I feel like it used to be a set amount, but now you can literally just pour a taste to see if you like it with a micro charge and then add more or move on if you don't like it. That was really useful since I'm not much of a beer drinker - it took me a while to find one I could sip on. I ordered the sliders - now what I thought was cool about this (and again, I don't remember it being this way the last time I was there, but I also ordered whole burgers last time) is that you could customize your sliders. So I was able to order three different sliders which was awesome. I tried the bourbon, the brie, and the shrooms. Of the trio, the bourbon was my favorite and the other two were sort of a toss up second place. They were cooked correctly and hit the spot. Overall, I'd say it was a notch up from my last visit and I'd be willing to try it again if I'm in the mood for some mini burgers!

It was like taking a masterfully cooked filet and slathering ketchup on it instead of a nice mushroom or butter sauce. I also picked up the sweet potato fries, and although the portion was huge, they were all just mush - not crispy on the outside at all. Bleck. Since my previous review, it's also important to note that the prices are SUPER way more expensive now. So I took it down one star for those aspects.

The pizza was huge, not too thick but not too thin, crispy crust but airy on the inside. Calamari was cooked to perfection, crispy yet still tender. I literally have no complaints. The staff was very welcoming and very attentive. Multiple TVs with different games playing. Great place to go with friends or family. I will most definitely be back!

The two of us hardly travel to Poquoson, but drove to the area to check out another place for dessert. Let's see how this visit turned out. We were greeted by the staff when we walked inside. They had a lot of customers for lunch and were busy serving them at tables and the bar area. The decor was well kept and spotless. You can tell they take really good care of the business. After a few minutes lookimg over the menu, we were ready to order. I selected the Pork Belly Cuban sandwich which came with their homemade chips. It was a really good lunch. Both the pork belly and sliced ham were cooked very well and plenty. I forgot what sauce they included (I believe it was chimichurri) really elevated the flavor in my opinion. And there was enough chips as a side which were crunchy and full. Sophia ordered a chili dog which she enjoyed. 1631 had us full for lunch. We'll be sure to stop by the next time we're in town.
