I just realized I haven't done a review in over a year for Chick-fil-A. Y'all know I rarely do reviews on fast food places but only for those that have been go-to's for Sophia and myself. During each stop, we leave full for the most part. Let's see how all the visits turned out for the year. For each visit, we've done drive-thru which for the most part has many cars in line, but thanks to staff, they go quickly. Each member greeted us with a smile and took our orders with no issues at all. And they always say thank you at each turn. Appreciate it when staff makes sure customers are well taken care of. Typically, my order would be a chicken sandwich with waffle fries, either medium or large. Sophia's orders would be a regular chicken sandwich, deluxe sandwich with no cheese and large fries with ranch. It's enough where she saves half to take for lunch. Truly not a problem at all. Did a mobile order yesterday, not happy with the results. One of the odd times having a problem with my order at this franchise normally always spot on. Order two (2) chicken nuggets only got one with an extra sandwich. Asked for no salt on my fries which would mean you can not take them out of the hopper they sit in they have to be hot. Well fries had salt and both orders of french fires were pee-warm. Not up to the standards we have all expected from CHIC-Fil-A nation wide as we travel. Come on step up your game. Chick-fil-A has a great system to service customers. I ended up paying for and getting fry's that I didn't want. This was easily fixed.

Fast as usual - I was very surprised to pull right up during prime lunch rush hours. (Noon) the lady in the car in front of me had issues ordering but it wasn't on the restaurant itself. The gal taking my order was friendly as you come to expect from any Chick fil A. Have you ever met a rude employee?!? I know I haven't. The food was fresh and my tea was perfect and sometimes I come here just for a large tea. I recommend this location and it's very convenient for the CNU campus. (My son goes there) read more

Chick-fil-A at Mercury Boulevard: I'm Seething right now. I was IN the line and couldn't order because a car was ahead of me. The cashier took the order of the vehicle in front of me and then WALKED away. Once back at door, she turned around and said she couldn't take my order but would ask the manager. I told her that she say me in the line in time to order before the restaurant closed. She came back out shaking her head and said manager said no. I told her that she say me in the line and that I wanted to speak to manager. I told him I was in line but couldn't give my order before 9 because another car was in front of me. SO, if you have 2 vehicles in line at 8:55 and but only take the order for the first car; then refused to take the orders of the other car- is this the "Chick-fil-A" customer service mentioned in your commercials. I've never seen a business work so efficiently! I know there have been a lot of jokes and Memes about letting Chick-fil-A run out government agencies, but if only it were possible I believe they might do a better job. This particular Chick-fil-A not only has excellent service, but it also has excellent food! I don't think they've ever gotten an order of ours wrong and we are always thrilled with the final product! I have been to a few Chick-Fil-A's in multiple cities and states. Upon every visit, no matter the location, day of the week, or time of day, I am consistently greeted with a pleasant smile and a warm greeting. My order is taken promptly and (even if the drive thru line wraps around the building twice - as it typically does) I'm quickly provided my food. The quality of food is always outstanding and my order is continuously correct. The chicken is never fatty, and the breading is the perfect amount, providing a delicious and juicy piece of meat. I like how simple the sandwich is made, yet still tastes amazing. Their shakes are a great addition to the meal. Thick enough you could use a spoon, but still smooth enough to use a straw. With several flavors to choose from, there's an option for most anyone. The location off Warwick in Newport News has an indoor playground for the little ones. This was perfect for our visit. Since the weather was cold and rainy, having an indoor area for my friend's son to play made our lunch date easier. If you haven't tried a Chick-Fil-A, I would highly recommend it! We had a catered lunch from chick-fil-A at the office. I was surprised it wasn't the chicken and waffle fries (which I don't care for anyways) but we got lunch boxes you could put chicken wraps, chips, nuts, and a cookie in. They also had these mini kale salads with like cranberry bits and some type of vinaigrette dressing. The wrap was extremely dry and had no taste. lots and lots of wrap and lettuce and very little chicken. The salad tasted good but later that evening I got the runs for hours. I got fried nuggets instead of grilled and I literally just got out of line and they still asked to see my receipt twice. so now the rest of my food is going to be cold . This Chick-fil-A tends to be better than average in terms of food quality. We've stopped in several times since they often do events with local schools like "spirit nights" where they raise money for the school. We also stop here in the winter when we need something for the kiddo to do - they have a pretty nice, though small, indoor play area. More often than not, the dining room is pretty dirty - not a lot of staff clean up on that end it seems like. There is also a drive thru at this location that is always backed up, but enough parking lot spaces in the shopping center that it doesn't impact you when you try to leave. read more

While I've never had a chick-fil-a disappoint this is by far the best one I have been too. This is the chick-fil-a that my family and I always go to because we really like the play area. The play area is much more colorful Nd has more to do than most of the other Chick-fil-A's in the area. This one can get super busy though and I have noticed that some Of the new staff isn't up to the company's standards of customer service but I think they will get better. Still our favorite location. The food here isn't bad it's your typical Chick-fil-A food however their customer service is kind of on and off one of my orders was messed up in the manager offered to fix it when I came through the drive-thru the female manager seemed pretty irritated with me when I asked her about it she didn't want to replace the food that they had originally offered to replace not by my request........ Recently I have noticed the customer service at this location has really gone downhill. Service at the drive thru and inside is slower than it used to be. I have ordered chicken burritos numerous times with other breakfast items and requested salsa to go with the burrito. Usually it's left out.....now that im used to the salsa getting left out along with the napkins, I have to ask at the window after checking the entire bag to ensure the order is correct and the condiments and napkins are actually in the bag now. Then they get an attitude and seem like they don't care. Maybe this is why the drive thru line is backed up because most folks have learned to double check their order due to incompetence. Slow. Every time I have gone there has been an issue from cold fries, wilted salad, failure to give gluten free buns. They have been consistently incompetent. If you do drive-through or carry out, make sure you check your entire order before you drive away, because you can be pretty sure it it is not correct. I never thought I would ever say I had a bad Chick-til-a experience...I'm not sure if this location needs new management or what, but my experience today was mediocre at best. Only 3 people in line and I was there for way long than I should've been. I go to chuck-fil-a because the food is great, and it's fast! This location failed both of my expectations. Extremely slow (which isn't a big deal if my food is good and hot), and my food was very pitiful. My chicken patty was flat and hard! Like it had been sitting for a while. Same with my fries. Dark colored and hard. Nothing about my meal was enjoyable what so ever. Only positive thing about this visit is they didn't forget my sauce, which is the only thing that made my food bearable to eat. I still love this restaurant chain, but this location needs some SERIOUS improvement. read more

I used to frequent this chick fil a often and usually the staff is pretty nice and upbeat. However there's ONE manager by the name of ASHLEY & SHE IS A RUDE BITCH!!! She's bossy rude as hell with a very nasty attitude. She brags about how she received a promotion which I don't know how because she definitely didn't get it with her funky rude nasty attitude. It's not what you say it's how you say it. She has a way of looking at you with a evil look. I can't stand that lady. Since she's "so high up" in the company why are you still bagging food with everyone else? Shouldn't she be in Corp in a suit or something? My family & I stopped eating here because of her. Ive seen her be rude to other people. It's a shame such a great company employes someone so hateful & mean. I've spoken to some of the workers there & when I've inquired about her they've ALL turned their noses up and say "she's OK I tolerate her". It's a shame when co workers cant complain about management without fear of repercussion of losing their job & or hrs. Luckily one of them told me her name & that the higher up manger of the store reads these reviews. I won't EVER go to this particular chick fil a again. If I see her working at another one I'll stop going to that one also.
