This is not surprising once you learn that the owner of Yum Rockets is a Cordon Bleu graduate and has been a chef for 20 years. The concept is a modern take on Retro/Vintage Diners. Serving gourmet hamburgers, sandwiches, french fries, and more. It's a family-run business which is another nice perk. Of the various burgers on offer, the California Gold sounded the most enticing. A craft blend patty served with signature sauce (similar to Thousand Island), American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and bacon guacamole. Served on a brioche bun. Just one look and you know it will be delicious - and it was. Everything about it screamed fresh, high-quality ingredients, and expertly grilled. If they had a bricks-and-mortar restaurant, it would be your new destination for burgers (luckily, they offer catering, too!).
