Every time I come to this Burger King it's always the same young lady over charging cards can't put the order in correctly if you been doing this for months there isn't an excuse why you can't get it right catching attitude rolling her eyes is not OK. Visited this place for the first time and noticed only 4 people working the entire place with a line of cars and 5 people waiting to order. I honestly cannot reduce the stars as I noticed the poor manager multi tasking and the kitchen working like mad people to get the orders out. We called, and the line ran without an answer for so long that a voice came on and said "Welcome to Verizon. The manager treated me like trash she refused to give me my order the way that I wanted it claiming that it was too confusing. All I asked for was a meal with two of the toppings to be put on the side. She said that was too confusing to the cook, even though I have gotten it that way a number of times. They have dead insects inside. They always have a very terrible, rude attitude if I'm supposed to be able to have it my way at BK why is it that she told me either take it the way that she rang it up, as everything à la carte, or she just would ignore me. Terrible service. Terrible attitude. Lines were long. Watched two cars move forward in other line while I was ignored. Said "hello" into microphone and was chastised for "yelling" and that I needed to wait. Woman couldn't understand the code I was giving after three tries. On third try I spoke up. I was told to stop yelling at her again . She said I had To wait since they only had two people working and then continued to talk to coworker about me and laugh while still on a "hot mic". This is their answer consistently... we only have two people working. BK... you're not a poor struggling company, hire folks with better customer service. No worries... This is the "newer" burger king at 4570 34th St S, St. Petersburg, FL 33711. There was no one in front of us and the wait time was nearly 15 minutes for just a few items. When we left and looked at our food it was not edible at all. The mozzarella sticks were old and the cheese was brown and the chicken sandwiches were hard as a rock with wilted, soggy lettuce that looked old. We will not return here. Waited forever in line. Person Kametra taking the order was rude. Kept asking "is that all" after everything and I only ordered 3 meals and kept getting cut off. Get to the window to be told I ordered water with my meal which I did not but she sounded ready to fight over it so I just apologized and asked for a Sprite. I'm a BIG fan of the Impossible Whopper but this particular store takes the cake in poor quality food and service. Although there are always long lines with two order lanes, I have never seen the "pay" window staffed so you know you are in for a long wait. They always seem to be short staffed. The food was never particularly fresh tasting but now it is actually room temp or stone cold. Not the slightest warmth so you know it's been sitting out for awhile. I sat in the drive thru line while 3 other cars got their order taken at the other speaker. I thought maybe the speaker wasn't working until someone pulled through behind me after I got fed up and they took their order. I didn't even get to speak to an employee because they would not speak at all but took the person behind me no problem. This location is an abomination. No wonder they have 1.5 stars. Ordered two breakfast sandwiches and paid for them with gift card containing $15 of value . I was handed the sandwich with a receipt slip showing I now had $10 and change remaining on my card which would be correct had she deducted the $4.28 for the sandwiches. Before I could pull away from the window, the woman, dark skin with large long hair net, stop me and insisted I owed her $4.28. she refused to discuss her error and repeatedly insisted stated I owed her $4.28. I showed her the receipt that said my card now had over $10 in value. She refused to return it this register print out and continue to, in a rude loud tone, To insist I owe her the money. I return the sandwiches and left the property. I immediately went to the Burger King on North 34th Street where are used the same card to purchase the same two sandwiches without incident. It was at this point, looking at this new receipt, that I realized my card had been charged $4.28 at the South 34th Street restaurant. The person working the window this morning between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. January 27th 2002. Refuse to discuss or even acknowledge the possibility that a mistake might have been made. She charged me for a food I did not receive. I am owed, at least, an apology, $4.28 and compensation for my time, travel and aggravation. read more

I haven't been out in quite a while. I had originally gone to BK's main competitor to get Chicken nuggets but they were out. So I decided to drive across the street to BK to buy an original chicken sandwich and large fries. I was shocked that the cost was $8.01. I should have canceled on the spot and gone to the grocery store and bought a good steak. But I bit my lip and stayed in the lane... At the drive up window, I asked whether the fries were hot and fresh and she assured me they were. For $8.01, I really expect to be served quality and freshly cooked food. The sandwich was cold and absolutely disgusting. I loved BK's chicken sandwiches. This tasted nothing like what I used to enjoy. The fries were cold so I had to throw them into the microwave and reheat them, then the Ketchup covered the taste. There was nothing I could do to save the sandwich though. I doubt that they care, but this will be the last time I visit Burger King. High priced and disgusting fast food just isn't worth it... read more

Decided to by pass the usual McD pancakes and try the King's french toast sticks for a change during a trip out of town since the drive thru was empty. I should have taken this as a hint of what was to come. My order was easy. #10 with a coke. What I got was burnt black charcoal sticks of old cooking oil with a side packet of oil nuggets. I went there and the sign stated buy 1 whopper and get one for $1. I ordered the two whoppers and a large onion ring. I was charged the two for $6 Whoppers. I went inside because I thought it was be faster since I was the only one in there. After I placed my order, about 6 customers came in and placed orders as well. One person had a big order with special instructions. The cashier was quick to take the orders and the money with everyone standing around waiting. What pissed me off was, everyone else were getting their orders except me. I as for my money back and the manager took her time and didn't say a word. Not even an 'I'm Sorry'. Worst fast food experience in my life I arrived at 11:45 am on a Sunday. I went through drive through and placed my order for a fish sandwich and hamburger and was told the cost of my order and to pull around. It was literally 25 minutes before I got to the window because they are so slow. I pulled up and she asked if I ordered two whoppers and I said no and repeated my order. She said that she didn't see that in her system and I would have to place a new order and pull around and wait because they're so backed up. The manager came over and told me that since they didn't have my order I would have to drive around and get in the back of the line. I couldn't believe it. She wasn't rude about it just shows she doesn't understand customer service. I'll never return to this Burger King again. Got up to the window to order and they told me my line was closed and I could not place an order. I ordered the easiest meal ever....the buy two whoppers for $5. Although my order seemed simple...it took forever! The drive-thru lanes were packed. I ate my meal when I got home. Once I touched the sandwich I immediately noticed it was cold. This location is known for messing up orders, long wait times and lousy service during the lunch and dinner hours. This was the most average BK I have ever been to. The restaurant was reasonably clean, but that could be due to no other guests in the dining room. The counter service was really slow, with the single counter person being a pregnant person. The grill person appeared to make one sandwich at a time, forgetting she had two hands. Worst Burger King I have ever been to. I order a bacon ranch chicken salad with grilled chicken regularly and I get crispy chicken more often than not. It also takes ten minutes for the order. We just went through the drive-thru and frist it took 20 mins just to get through the line. When we got to the window, they didn't have the drinks ready and we had to tell them what drinks we ordered. They then proceeded to hand us a Strawberry Shake and ice cream cone that we didn't order. Then we got our food and we checked the food and we realized that they didn't give us the sauce we asked for. Luckily we were still at the window so we got our sauces and left. When we got home, we started eating the food and the Chicken fries was not even hot, they were warm and the whoopers we got were the same.
