Would definite from here again. Everything was cooked very well just needed a little seasoning and condiments. All of the ingredients were fresh and the bun for the burger and chicken sandwich was surprisingly soft, chewy and held together well. Out of everything we ordered (dry rub wings were great, v9 burger was fair, jerk chicken sandwich good, cookie was good, tots were okay, onion rings meh) the Mac and cheese wouldn't be on the reorder. I may have the perfect new addition to my lunch rotation! I've driven past this place a few times and a friend recommended it to me. I went for lunch and there is so many great options from burgers to salads to wings and quesadillas. Since it's my first time I started simple and got a single smash burger with Mac and cheese. Did I mention you can customize your Mac and cheese!!! There's lots of seating options both indoor and outside. The food came out hot and fresh. The ingredients were really fresh and I thought the smash burger was absolutely perfect. The Mac and cheese alone was the perfect consistency I did add black pepper for additional flavor but that's just my preference. I've been here several times now since it is a block away from my house but after my experience yesterday, I fear I won't be back. My husband refuses to go back. The older lady with the long ponytail who I'm assuming is an owner is honestly the one of the rudest individuals I've ever experienced working in HOSPITALITY. The food is good so it is unfortunate. With the good use of ceiling fans, dehumidifier, and a couple of overworked AC vents they barely managed to keep the inside more comfortable than the outside. The food is good. The fries are crisp. The burgers are tasty. Sautéed mushrooms and onions are truly sautéed and a lemonade is homemade. Burger fries and a drink total $21. Just a little bit overpriced. I had a Swiss mushroom burger, and my wing man Gary had the Smashburger. Both were better than average. I stopped in here and it was a very bright cute place and very Florida. It was an old gas station converted into a restaurant. I ordered a steak breakfast burrito and it was delicious. There was an upcharge for onions and peppers but worth it. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I do wish that they served breakfast later than 11:30 for us lazy risers. Yes, I absolutely recommend V9!!! I love this place. I typically get their smash burger with fries and it hits every single time. I also love their fried okra & tots. The employees are super sweet and quick. Last time, I ordered in my pjs & she told me I could go wait in my car and she'd bring it out to me. Super thoughtful and not necessary! The inside has super cool art all over the walls, and the outside has some sick murals as well. We go about 3x a month, so we will be back for our routine visit soon because we are due! read more

I ordered a shrimp po' boy and asked for no remoulade, but it still came with it. The service was okay, though the server seemed like she wasn't really in the mood to take my order. That said, the po' boy itself was pretty good overall. The only downside was the remoulade had a strong lemon taste that kind of overpowered the sandwich. I'm from Louisiana, so I know a good po' boy when I taste one. With the remoulade fixed, it could definitely be a solid sandwich. Cool looking place on the inside and outside will definitely come back to try a hot dog. read more

'Fresh' and 'Homemade' are painted on the walls of the interior. And they serve frozen food. I asked the staff why have these words plastered all over the establishment if your food is from the Sam's Club freezer section? The owner and staff had no answers and didn't really seem to think it was a big deal. Cool. I won't ever be back, but seeing as how I was the only diner in the entire establishment, the rest of you probably already know. Also, cucumbers are NOT pickles. To the genius who thinks you're pickling cucumbers you might want to actually taste one. read more

Had a delicious lunch with my man at V9 EATS today! We the Schnitzel sandwich had a super soft bun with homemade pickles and pickled onions. The Loaded Tater Tots were the bomb! Served with homemade chili, bacon, cheese, onions, and jalapeños, we dipped it in their homemade ranch which was amazing! This local establishment is around the corner from our home, and my family loves to ride our bikes here. The food is excellent- you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The fry in everything is fresh and delish- their fish and shrimp sandwiches are incredible! The cost is on par with anywhere else in the city, with an average children's meal or an adult. Let's face is our city isn't cheap to live or eat in. But this place is worth it. One MAJOR pet peeve is that they don't provide you cups of water without cost. And while it's not significant- .25 cents for a cup of tap water, when you are already paying market price for food, is annoying. Anywhere you go these days, provides at minimum, water without cost for table service- especially when you are also tipping for the service. We will continue to dine here, we bring our water bottles with us. read more

The food is decent. I would give more stars, but I only really eat chicken. I've gotten the jerk chicken twice. The flavor is phenomenal. However, the reason for 3 stars is because the quality of the chicken is virtually inedible. I ripped it apart and it's just tendon, silver skin, and very tough pieces. I ended up throwing the sand which away, which is a bummer because the idea and flavor is good. They just need a decent piece of meat. Fries and burger are good though. read more

To start things off, I've been driving by this place for the past (3) years and not really gave it much thought...then I got on YELP and read the reviews, I need to try this place out. Then I said to my self, "Self, lets go to V9 and get a burger". And I was on my way. Pulled in the rear parking area and took a look around, was not expecting what I was about see inside. Entered threw the 58th street side door and wow, first time here, it's got the atmosphere for sure. And plenty of seating. Ordered the Angus Smash Burger with cheese and fries...Sprite to drink. Friendly fast service...not a long wait and my burger arrived. Put together correct too. Lettuce on the bottom to keep the bun from getting soggy. (See my review on PeppaJaks). If I have to compare the burger to a chain it would have to be Culvers. However the fries are better, perhaps one the best I have had. This place is just few short blocks from my house and now my go to place for a burger and atmosphere. Looking forward to trying the steak and cheese. A quirky repurposed gas station and garage. Everyone was so happy with their choices. Jerk chicken was moist and tater tots were crispy. Po Boy- perfectly cooked shrimp and the sauce was different. Fried okra nice and crispy. We had a few visits from the owner and he talked me into trying a sauce, it was awesome. Waitress didn't stifle, very sweet. Last weekend, we checked out V9 Eats in St Pete for lunch. V9 looks like it was an old service station that was converted into a restaurant. It is hard to miss as it is brightly painted. It has cool murals painted on the side and has a small kids area out front. Cool little neighborhood spot. We arrived a little after noon and looked over the menu. We decided to get some wings, schnitzel sandwich, mushroom & Swiss burger, cheese steak, and a turkey O'Toole sandwich. We placed our order at the counter and then found a seat. Our food came up in good time and it looked pretty tasty. The wings were smoke fried with a sweet Thai chili sauce. The flavor was good, but we would have liked them a bit more crispy. The schnitzel sandwich was a hit. My buddies son really enjoyed it. The mushroom & Swiss burger was said to be quite tasty. The cheese steak could have benefited from a little seasoning, but it was tasty overall. The turkey O'Toole was my favorite. The pretzel bun with the turkey and honey mustard was a great combo. The side of cheese sauce to dip the sandwich in was clutch. The mac & cheese it was served with was pretty exceptional as well. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch at V9 Eats. Looking for something quick before heading to the movies. Deb did a quick search and this place popped up. It used to be a food truck but now they have put down some roots in an old gas station. Great vibe here. Awesome menu with lots of great sounding options. Great having pictures of some of them on the counter too. I opted for the schnitzel sandwich. Amazing! We have been waiting for V9 to open for so long! I was finally able to try the past week and was not disappointed. Yelp steered me well. I ordered the po boy and it was fried to perfection! My friend got the carrot dog and liked it. We split the eggs that were super yummy! I wish they had more of a selection but it seems like they change some menu items on the daily. the service was friendly and quick! I can't wait to try more off the menu. I stopped over for their Sunday BBQ and ordered the rib plate. It came out quickly and was everything that I needed on this cold Sunday. The ribs had a tangy, sweet vinegar glaze on them that was so perfect. I ordered the sauce on the side and I'm glad I didn't. The meat was very tender, moist and came right off the bone. I had a side of beans and those were pretty good, as well. Although I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the food because I was just hungry, I did manage to get a pic of the car meet that was outside. They had some kei trucks, from Japan, hanging out. There was a Mystery Machine inspired one that was absolutely adorable. 10/10 would come back for the Sunday BBQ. read more
