Despite the lower reviews, I think this is becoming one of my favorite burger fast food places to…read morego to. It's very reminiscent of a cross between five guys and shake shack. Service was quick and easy. It had a classic diner and five guys vibe to it. Overall solid food that you can't go wrong with. Definitely filling and a bit heavy but if you want a real burger and tasty shoestring fries this is the place to go.

They doubled down and would not refund the burger that was completely wrong, but I did eventually get a refund for the missing one. Minus the tax I paid. Listen, if I order something and don't receive it, I expect a full refund. I'm not a confrontational person, I'm just sick of throwing money down the McDonald's on Carpenter hole and nearly always being shorted on something. Or there's hecking onions all over it when I say no onions. They don't like picking up the phone, and when they do they say you have to come back to the store and argue with the manager about it there. If you order oatmeal, there is an option to have a couple of coffee creamers included. They have NEVER included this in my order although I always request it. My order today of NO ONIONS on my burger got me double onions and NO lettuce. The happy meal I ordered for the kid had so much ketchup on it the burger could not be eaten. IDK how they let it go out the door like that, but it was more ketchup than burger. I've paid extra for add-ons to then never get them added on in the end. DUring covid the only option was to go back and sit in the drive through to deal with it. They would not answer the phone then. Double burgers are often not so double when we get home. I cringe every time I order. All husband wants is no onions. Every other order still has onions. The fries are cold 3/4 of the time. If I order extra salt it will come without any salt at all. The breakfast buttitos are either overmicrowaved or still cold in the middle. If they do bother to give you lettuce there is so little on there it makes no difference. When the shake and ice cream machines are working at least I can say that these taste fresh. I am always hesitant to buy this from McDonald's because I know how they are with the machines, and you can often taste something spoiled in the shakes in general. Anyhow, I think this place does an OK job with the machine maintenance because they do most of the time have it, and it doesn't taste rotten. We are frequently missing entire burgers. They will not refund you over the phone even when they admit that they forgot to give you the burger and it's sitting right there in front of them. You have to drive back no matter what the circumstances are. I'll just keep doing chargebacks for my missing items. It beats having to deal with an argumentative employee in person. This place really needs (as others have said) a hard reset button.

I'm so used to being asked back in San Jose. While the sliders were ok, I could not enjoy the fries or chicken rings because it was dry for me. It is a very inexpensive meal meant to be shared by 2-3 people. I was very hungry, so I assumed what I ordered will do the trick, but I could not finish it hence, I DoorDashed from Slurping Turtle to the hotel after my last meeting. The food choices are the same, with the introduction of chicken and fish. I honestly cannot recall having that before. The fries are good, and I would advise just skipping the onion "chips" (not rings - chips.) Yes, I will be back. The catfish and perch were both delicious (I tried both) - crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. I kind of wished they made their own tartar sauce instead of getting packets, though. Will try again next time I am down that way - much more on the menu for us to conquer!
