Wow lot of bad Reviews here and 5/4 stars but i had a great Experience then one on mission st. I had a 10.00 Gift card and wasn't sure how used the B/K app so i asked the Manger and she was really nice about it instead of tell me you figure it out she got her employee to help me and she did it in five minutes and got my ordered in. She was very patient & listening to me when i was talking took my order done it correctly and even brought the food to me at the table that's customer service even though it's a fast food place. So Thank you to Manger and her Employee "Sorry" didn't get her name. As i was sitting here and eating i seen her dealing with a lot of people she was listening and she was very nice to the customers you need more people like her working in fast food. Oh and the food was done right and was hot and fresh. :) Thanks for reading my latest Review.

A cool place to grab a good quality fast food bite. Only things are they been out of Coca Cola icee for months. Came the other day ordered some things and tried new burger. Bread wasn't toasted, and I did not receive jalapeños requested.

Why I will never eat fast food again. Ordered two original chicken sandwiches and two medium fries. Tell me why the chicken sandwiches has "bones" all throughout both sandwiches to the point where I couldn't eat them. The fries were cold. I worth part is I ordered on the inside of the restaurant and had to wait 15 minutes because they were backed up with orders. I was order number 25 and they were just calling order 16. Tried to call but nothing but that's most fast food place!!!!!!

The food at least for me has always been good, the food is hot or warm, nothing cold, and when I add extra pickles/onions, they always deliver, same for when I ask for big mac sauce on my burgers. Half the time I come here the tables, bathroom, and some parts of the dining room is dirty. Plus it doesn't help when homeless people grab other people's food without permission and just make a mess. I know it's a tough job to clean after people that leave a mess but it's hard to eat if someone just takes my food and makes a mess that forces the workers or management to fix. Other than that I never have a problem getting my order or have issues with the employees. Most of the workers are very friendly and quite understanding all the times I been here. Not comparable to San Jose banh mi but probably the best in SF. Their bread is made fresh every…read moremorning as opposed to other banh mi shops in SF and East Bay which pick up their bread from a distributor. They don't make their bread by the hour but they make a huge batch for the day each morning. They use quality flour and the prices are a little higher but the bread is fresh and crispy. This type of banh mi reminds me of the $1.00 banh mi that my family used to eat back in the early 90s. The baguette is much longer and the bread tastes the same... nowadays the banh mi shops have adapted a thinner baguette and the bread is not the same recipe as back in the 90s, it's either too airy or too hard and sharp. So this banh mi here held some nostalgia within me as we were eating it. The bread tastes exactly like childhood. Firm not too airy and crispy (ghon as we would say it). We ordered different types of banh mi and enjoyed all of them. There was even a sardine banh mi which is something I'd see growing up or eating at home only. Not a lot of banh mi shops offer sardine version. I had the fish cake banh mi, sardine banh mi and chicken banh mi while my husband had the cold cut banh mi. We both thought it was good for SF standards. The street is very busy and there is no parking. My husband waited around the block as I went in to order and wait for the banh mi to come out. It's not really much of a long wait. And this area is pretty out of the way for most. We just happened to be around here to see what this shop had to offer. This is a hole in a wall kind of place. So don't expect any sort of ambiance. Get your banh mi and go. Most families buy their banh mi for kids as snacks in the afternoon after schools done, or at least that's how I remember my parents doing it for us !

Omg the smell of fresh bread outside the banh mi factory is sooo enticing. Even if you're not…read morehungry when passing by here, the fragrance of freshly baked baguettes will draw you in. This was not my case though. I called an Uber from across the city to come here for lunch just to get my hands on these banh mi straight from the factory and figure out what the hype's about. After ordering at one of the four kiosks inside the banh mi factory, I perched on a little red stool at one of the two tables to wait. While waiting, I observed multiple other patrons stop by and each pick up two huge bags full of fresh baguettes. One patron even carried out a giant plastic container packed with them. At the shockingly affordable price of just $1 per baguette if you order in-store, it's no surprise this place is popular for good reason. When my order was called, I picked up my lemongrass tofu banh mi and passionfruit tea from the counter. I tried the lemongrass tofu banh mi immediately. The baguette was very crunchy, and the filling was quite savory. The tofu itself was seasoned and had a dry, meaty texture, but it wasn't fried and didn't actually carry a strong (if any) lemongrass flavor, so I found it a bit lacking in authenticity, creativity, and texture. I decided to order another banh mi to-go. I had been eyeing the fish cake, so I went with that. I wrapped up the rest of the tofu banh mi to save for later so that I could try the fish cake banh mi when I got back. I think the fish cake was an upgrade from the tofu, but what I most noticed was the excess of mayo and some sort of dripping white sauce. That's on me for not requesting light mayo when ordering, but as for the liquid white sauce, I'm not sure what it is but didn't taste authentic at all. I'm really not a sauce person except for the classics like fish sauce and soy sauce so just something to note for next time. Also, the passionfruit tea, despite having real fruit chunks but no passionfruit seeds at the bottom, wasn't very good and didn't have much passionfruit flavor. It kind of just tasted like a really sugary fruit tea, which was a letdown. I conclude that the banh mi here are good but could be a bit better. The fresh baguettes are the main selling point. I don't think the other ingredients (tofu, mayo instead of egg butter, etc.) were quite up to standard, and what I got at least quite didn't quite live up to the hype. I'd be down to come again though and try more menu options.

In fact, I was quite forlorn having presumed this location of Limon was permanently closed. I liked the way they prepared their pollo à la brasa because the Peruvian-style chicken was consistently succulent. I'm guessing maintaining the quality and profitability of a sit-down restaurant has been economically challenging since this was not the only Limon that has closed. I was encouraged that they kept the space and reinvented it into more of a fast food/takeout operation replete with a cartoon chicken mascot and an animated mural along the northern side of the building. I came by in the middle of a weekday afternoon, so I wasn't ready to eat on the spot. I decided on a takeout order of the $21.95 Half Chicken Pollo à la Brasa with two sides. I think I overdid the starches and went with the Plantains and Yuca Fries. I only noticed afterward that I could've gotten salad or cole slaw instead. When I got home and started to eat, I was immediately disappointed that the chicken tasted overcooked with the breast piece particularly dry. That was too bad because the skin from the rotisserie had the familiar flavorful seasonings. The plantains were tasty albeit a bit oily, while I had to nuke the lukewarm yuca fries to bring them back to life (Photo 9). Next time, I'll time my arrival closer to lunch or dinner, so I can dine in-house. My hope is that the chicken will be closer to the quality level I recall from Limon. But keep in mind that it's a takeout only restaurant, so there is no dine in seatings. Overall, the portions are generous and the fish tasted fresh. The flavor was decent, not the best poke I've had, but definitely not bad either. If you're looking for amazing poke, this may not be your spot. A coworker recommended this place, and now I recommend it to everyone. What stands out is the balance--everything is done well. The meat is rich and flavorful, the tacos themselves are just as good, and the consommé ties everything together perfectly. I've tried places where one part is strong but something else falls short, but not here. You also get free sides like onions, cactus, radish, and beans, which make the meal even better. I've been coming back ever since, and I can easily finish three tacos in one sitting. On my most recent visit, I had two birria tacos and tried their birria ramen. It was surprisingly good--comforting and flavorful, more like a homemade dish than anything instant. For drinks, I've tried all their jugos, and the jamaica is the standout--get it in a large. Service: Friendly, efficient, and straightforward. Orders come out at a good pace, and the staff keep things moving even when it's busy. Ambience: The space has a Frida Kahlo-inspired design, which adds character and makes it feel lively and unique. There's one restroom available. Parking: Parking can be a bit difficult in the area, so expect to walk a little--but it's worth it once you get your food. We asked about the consommé and I don't know if they just forgot it or what happened but we never got to try it. The shrimp taco was tasty and absolutely filled with again generous amount of shrimps. Ironically, it wasn't my favorite. It just was lacking the level of flavor that I really wanted. The Carne Asada was mediocre at best and not something that I would order again. The winner out of the numerous items that we ordered was the pork belly and the Al pastor. Between the two, the Al pastor is the one that you want. Incredibly well seasoned, a nice hint of light spice, the meat was juicy and tender, and the combination in the taco was outstanding. Seriously so good that my mouth is watering just thinking about how tasty it was. The chips were nothing to write home about, and I didn't really care for salsas that came with the meal. Really reasonably priced, generous amount of food, and absolute worth the push in enjoying their food!
