There was about a 20-30 minute gap between getting our food and actually eating it, and everything was still warm and really delicious! The workers were working so hard and kept apologizing for the wait, but honestly, the wait was totally reasonable considering how many customers they had. Overall the quality was good. But I prefer your Napa location. Well it might also have to do with visiting the wineries, lol. Ambiance - Good size location. Indoor and outdoor seating. Clean with an open kitchen. Service - Self service kiosk, counter service and self pick up. Self service water, utensils, cleaning our own tables, etc. Not sure why I even tipped... I almost ordered a second serving, but I'm so glad I didn't... or maybe I should have because they were that good. I went to Ferry Fest today and my friend and I decided to get an early dinner before the last band started. The long line was expected but it went fairly quickly. The woman at the counter was really friendly. I used to work retail and dealing with customers, even at the start of the shift, can wear you down pretty quick. So I gotta give props to her for being positive during this very busy day. I got the crispy hot honey chicken tacos, which is one of this month's specials. It came with delicious sweet corn, cabbage slaw, chipotle mayo, and a cilantro-lime crema. It's basically the flavors of elote with fried chicken and it yummy! The breading on the chicken was even and crisp. And I enjoyed the spicy-sweet flavor of the honey, which complemented the chipotle mayo. I also enjoyed the crunch from the cabbage and the softness of the flour tortilla. I paired with it the fried Brussels sprouts to get another veggie into my meal. Though I do love very charred sprouts, there was a hint of bitterness. I may have needed more lime to cut that. The jalapeño mayo was good. But I think tossing it in pork fat is the way to go with Brussels sprouts to really pump up the flavor. I'm not sure what oil they fry it in. I think I'll stick to their sweet potato fries, which never disappoints. It's always busy there, but it's never too difficult to find a place to sit. It's shared seating, with long tables inside and large tables outside. But my friend and I took it to go so we can have dinner with the show. And the timing was perfect - we didn't wait too long to get our order and we arrived about 20mins before the band started. They had 3 or so workers but the setup didn't look conducive to getting through orders quickly, with essentially one person just stationed at the iPad to charge customers. One of the things we really liked about this place was the nice bar next to it. They had a good selection of wines by the glass, including Rombauer Chardonnay, and the pricing was actually very reasonable. The burger was very full and generously packed with ingredients. The chicken nuggets portion was surprisingly large, and the fries were also very tasty. It was also one of those rare beautiful sunny San Francisco afternoons. Usually whenever we visit the city, the weather is cloudy, so being able to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine made the experience even better. We went for the Ferry Building festival. We had to wait in the line because there were so many people. It was definitely worth the wait. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was overcast in SF on Saturday. I tried this burger spot for the first time. I rarely have American-style burgers normally, but this one felt really unique. Their bacon is cooked slightly crispy and charred, which I think is meant to give it a nice crunch. The beef patty is super thick, and one whole burger was a little too filling for me. The fries are topped with a special kind of thin chives, and they taste amazing with ketchup. It's a bit hard to find if you walk through the mall. I ate here again for the first time in a couple years and was a much bigger fan this time around. I got the monthly special chicken Parmesan sandwich and it was great! The sandwich was massive and kinda hard to eat, but overall it met all my expectations. I do think their fries and some of the other items are a bit bland, but the sandwich was a standout to me. The cheeseburger was very good-super tasty-solid value-pretty spicy-it had Anaheim Chile,jack cheese,jalapeño mayo-I liked it quite a bit-I would order it again for sure.The Garlic fries were well made,they were doused in some serious garlic butter-very tasty. Phenomenal Organic Soft Serve at the Ferry Building! We stopped by Gott's Soft Serve at the SF Ferry Building location and were absolutely blown away. If you are looking for high-quality, flavorful organic treats, this place is an absolute must-visit. I got the Valley Ford Salted Caramel ice cream in a cup, and it is hands down one of the best I have ever had. The texture was absolutely perfect, and the balance of the rich caramel flavor and sweetness was heavenly. My son ordered the Straus Organic Dutch Chocolate in a waffle cone and enjoyed it a lot. My daughter went with the Straus Organic Vanilla with sprinkles in a cone, and she loved it just as much. You can really taste the quality of the premium organic ingredients they use. THE BIG: This Gott's location is inside the Ferry building of San Francisco. No seating as it's mainly order to go type fare. Limited parking, rideshare is the best way to get here. THE BLACK AND WHITE: The wife and I came to the Ferry building to do all the tourist things and saw straus vanilla ice cream being sold. I bought a gallon of the straus milk earlier that day and loved the taste. Fortunately there wasn't a big of a line and we got a cone of the vanilla ice cream. Super creamy and decadent. I'd have two if it wasn't a sin to have two. Gott's also sells burgers which didn't sound too appetizing but I do recommend the ice cream. Batter is on the thicker side, but I think that's ok given the batter itself has a good flavor and that allows the ring to maintain their crisp, even after delivery. 3) PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE COOKIE (4/5) The flavors of this cookie were excellent but it was a tiny bit dry which is why it's not a 5/5. They're very generous with the peanut butter chips throughout the cookie and they have a deep, natural flavor. They almost taste like they were homemade with real peanuts and minimal added sugar, which is way better than those artificial and super sweet peanut butter chips you can find in some other desserts. Gott's cookies are quite well done. 4) TURKEY CALIFORNIA BURGER (3/5) Overall was good and I appreciated the turkey burger option if you want to feel ~healthy~ eating a burger and desserts. That being said, I think the sandwich overall lacked moisture given the patty was dry and the buns didn't help. Maybe more sauce, or a runnier egg, or a slice of tomato could have helped. 5) REGULAR FRIES (2/5) I can't recommend these. Very dry and not that crispy, though we did get this delivered so I assume these taste better fresh. However, Gott's has plenty of other fantastic sides so it's no problem if the regular fries aren't perfect! ------ ENVIRONMENT We got our order delivered but I've been to the physical location in the Ferry Building countless times. They have a huge space with both indoor and outdoor seating areas.
