    Really?One side with no veggies?

After I bought my two Junior Whoppers at this store, I decided to do research. It turns out that the hamburgers are NOT fresh or made at the store. Burger King has hamburgers made for them--shipped in 15-pound boxes, frozen, PRE-COOKED, PRE-FABRICATED, including the grill marks. Each store then heats up the HAMBURGER PRODUCT, the same kind you can buy at the store. Unbelivable. After all this time. I know someone who works there. So what's in these Burger King hamburger products? Not 100% beef. Something similar to: Beef, Seasoning (Spices, Dehydrated Garlic, Salt, Brown Sugar, Canola Oil, Modified Corn Starch, Silicon Dioxide [Anticaking Agent], Maltodextrin, Natural Flavor), Water, Natural Flavor. Okay, so--they do taste kinda good with the ingredients they add to the pre-made burgers, even though the stores heat up their burgers with a flame broiler, or so they say. So, knowing this, I am very less likely to have a hamburger after the ones I bought at Burger King. I do know that stores like Kidd Valley and Burgermaster and Wendy's use fresh hamburger, which is why they taste so much better and are more expensive. Meh--people will still buy them anyway, since they are cheap. But the TV commercials LEAD YOU TO believe you are getting something that you are not. By the way, Burger King's pre-made, pre-cooked, pre-striped hamburger products are made by Tyson.

The girl that was working the counter had an entire bussing station full of food and was dragging her feet around. I was like hey can I get my drink while I wait for my mobile order and she was like no I can't I was like um ok no big deal right it's busy I get it. Until I hear her talking about me in Spanish when her coworker asked about the impossible she said something in the lines of it's that assholes he can wait and then snickered. Her coworker did not seem too amused but had to shrug it off because he was working the drive through, then she gets to everything cleared out almost except my food then walks to the counter and starts helping another customer, glaring at me occaisionally the entire time. That was about minute 15 I had been waiting before I decided to just walk out.

Eat in California often. Come and try it in Seattle. Very quiet, not many customers at all. All orders are made to go. No need to ask customers where to eat. Easy, no need to put the tray, no need to wash the tray at all. very average service No smiles to customers at all. like being forced to come to work

I mean it's a Burger King. I'm not sure why the bad reviews, you get what you pay for. Personally, my boyfriend and I love a good BK burger for lunch or dinner. We get coupons like "2 whoppers, 2 fries, 2 drinks for $5," I mean who can beat it?? We went on a long trip earlier this year (pre-Covid) and it was the first thing we got when we came back.

The restaurant itself leaves a lot to be desired, but I'm not asking too much. I believe the owner said he was trying to revamp the place. I hope that the area comes alive in the future years, that should help. Here's the issue though, this is the slowest spot ever. I've waited 30 minutes for fries - FRIES. I don't mind waiting for food, but it should remain reasonable. There were only two or three people working, and one man did tell us this, but I need to be honest - this was on Super Bowl Sunday. No one was able to get anyone a beer from the tap for 40 minutes, the food took forever and it appeared that online orders were being prioritized (which makes sense, you make as you get orders coming in, but that puts your in person customers in an odd and sometimes frustrating position). To be honest, I probably wouldn't have minded as much if I just had some fries to snack on. I didn't mind as much this one time because I was just happy to find a place to watch the Super Bowl Half Time show, but other days, it's a little hard to look past. I wish this business the best, I live too close to not hope for its improvement! Looking forward to updating my review. At the end of the day, if you're hungry, it's late, this is your spot.

There was no garlic at all, but what I did get was a pretty large appetizer that did its job and more. The main dish, the hotstone beef bibimbap, was a lot worse. Firstly, this came with ground beef rather than the beef slices I was expecting. The rice at the bottom was dry like it should be in a clay pot, but lacking really any of that slightly-burnt, hard qualities that makes a clay pot rice what it is. It just tasted dry. But the ground beef was probably the worst part. It was dry, lacking in really any seasoning, and the portion was tiny. I'd finished the beef with still half the bowl remaining. This was not a bibimbap I would come back to at all. Overall, there are way too many better places in the international district for me to ever recommend this. 5/10

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

My only complaint is that the burger was a bit too salty. Service: It was mid. They messed up on our orders and instead of replacing it, she just walked away. They ask for tips which is odd because you have to go to the counter and order and clean the table yourself. They only bring the food and I'm guessing that has more to do with the lack of space. A tip shouldn't be asked. Also when we ordered, we didn't know thy would bring out the meal so we stood inside for a while. They don't take your name or give you a buzzer so I'm not sure how they can keep track. Lastly, it took a while for us to get our food. It wasn't that busy but it looked like there was only one cook. Ambiance: the inside is TINY but it's a vibe. It's small and oddly shaped but the ceilings are high and it's sort of an industrial open concept. They have a small seating outside and a bigger patio seating on the side street. Napkins, utensils and ketchup are all the table which makes it easier. But the place gets packed so you might not even get a seat. Overall: I'd go back because the burgers were that good. But it's not going to be my go-to spot mainly because of the service.
