Bowls are always good at chipotle and usually consistent, so I stopped by last night and got one with chicken and the bowl was pretty filling. Originally I wanted to try the chipotle chicken that was on the big sign up front, but staff told me it was gone and they needed to change the sign out. Gotta do that asap friends, it's misleading and gave my hopes up lol. I also got a drink cup, but they gave me a dirty cup with what looked like guac smeared on it. DO NOT order in the app for pick up at the Northgate location. The portion sizes will be TINY. These tacos were a joke. My order was chicken, fajita veggies, and light corn salsa. Apparently they went light on EVERYTHING. These were not full at all. One taco literally 2 pieces of chicken. It felt like I was eating more shell than anything else. Pathetic portions every time I come here. This most recent visit there were no forks at the condiment/drink station and the food had an odd smell--heath score concerningly low. Female employee who helped me was polite enough but seemed confused by the English word "fork" when I asked for one; fortunately I know basic Español The male worker who rang me up absentmindedly and with his bare hands grabbed a receipt or something off the counter and simultaneously pulled a lengthy piece of lettuce out of my bowl which was disconcerting. Price was outrageous for such a measly helping of beef, veggies, rice, beans, lettuce, guac, and salsa, especially when those in front of me received such generous portions. I am convinced that in this brave new world that Chipotle is among countless multinational brands and corporations whose employees gleefully discriminate against white people. We were staying at a nearby hotel so we had Chipotle for dinner twice. We are from California where the employees aren't the friendliest and the food portions aren't that great. We were surprised by the super friendly staff during BOTH our visits and the portion sizes were fair. Felt like we were getting our monies worth! read more

My Brother and I went to chipotle today about 2:30 PM. There was nobody in line. We walked right up to order. The lady that helped us was not friendly at all., She was rather mean and rude. She was an older lady and she acted like she hated her job. She had a mean look on her face and was not friendly at all!! She literally threw the food in the bowl and I got a veggie bowl and she put a very amount of veggies., so I asked her if I could please have a little bit more, and she threw them in the bowl. This Chipotle in Northgate is far superior to the Interbay and UW Chipotle locations. Weekday lunchtime when they aren't swamped nor empty seems to be the ideal time to go. When they're not swamped they give great portion sizes, a satisfying helping of steak and an appropriate, pleasing amount of guacamole. When they're not empty the food is still fresh from the rotation. I personally enjoy getting a steak burrito with white rice, pinto beans, pico de gallo and a little of their red sauce, corn, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and guacamole occasionally as a treat or when the Chipotle app has free guac. The staff are also fairly alive and not utterly worn down from the trials of dealing with crappy or unpredictable people that some of the other locations suffer from. The music is a little bit too ambient-vague-electronic-vocally-repetitive but I don't really rate fast food based on music. I felt compelled to leave this review because I had a really good burrito today at the Northgate location and I was briefly grateful to have a Chipotle nearby that's good, unlike the other two I have tried that are stingier with their portion size or give you a small tuna can sized burrito if you order to-go. read more

Tonight's service wasn't great food-wise. I ordered a steak Burrito bowl with Guac. The female serving the condiment line was the one serving the guac; never bothered to notice she gave me nearly an entire avocado WHOLE. They never mashed it up and now It's just one big chunk in my burrito bowl. I had to pay for that. Second - they were quite busy in there, and no one noticed that they had no Mexican bottles of Coke left, so they had to pull some from the back and give me one warm. Just not a lot of forward-thinking tonight They were really friendly, young personnel, but they weren't operating at 100%. I have faith they will redeem themselves next visit, hopefully. read more

If you are looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, you can't go wrong with **Chipotle** in Northgate Station. The food is fresh, flavorful, and filling. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl with guacamole and salsa, and it was amazing. The chicken was tender and juicy, the rice was fluffy and well-seasoned, and the toppings were generous and tasty. The portion size was also perfect for me. The employees were very nice and helpful. They greeted me with a smile and took my order quickly. They also made sure that everything was to my liking and offered me extra napkins and utensils. They were attentive and courteous throughout my visit. The only downside was that the Coca-Cola I ordered was not very cold. It came in a glass bottle, which looked cool, but it was barely chilled. I prefer my soda to be ice-cold, so this was a bit disappointing. Maybe they should invest in a better refrigerator or ice machine. Also, Northgate Station as a mall sucks. It is outdated, boring, and has nothing interesting to offer. The only reason I go there is because of Chipotle. Chipotle makes it so much better. It is like an oasis in a desert of mediocrity. Overall, I highly recommend Chipotle in Northgate Station for anyone who loves Mexican food. It is one of the best places to eat in the area. I will definitely be back soon. read more

I went to chipotle this past Monday and I ordered a burrito bowl and a large side of guacamole to go. When I went to eat the guacamole there was a hard large piece of guac that was not edible. I could not smash it with a fork it was hard as a rock and I had to throw it in the garbage. This is the second time that this is happened to me. The other time was at the shoreline location. I am getting mad even thinking about this horrific experience again. By the time I got into this location, I was pretty hangry, but I am not one to take my hunger out on staff. I wasn't greeted, but they seemed pretty busy with ONE MAN ordering a few burritos to go. There was one person working line and one at the register. Maybe some of the cooks standing around could help out, or maybe the cashier could lend a hand? I get that this is a low paid job, but they do have a tip jar out, so they should realize that a little effort perceived by guests goes a long way. So after ten minutes, maybe more, finally one of the gals tells me she will get to me soon, but no smile or apology. Great. Now I'm not sure if it is just that I haven't had Chipotle in a while, but I remember the burritos being HUGE. Prices have definitely gone up, but shouldn't portions remain similar? My tiny, poorly rolled burrito was not what I expected or what I felt the price warranted. I don't think I should have to mention that napkins should always go into a to-go order bag. Total fail. 0 stars. Would strongly discourage anyone from ordering online from this location. Got two burrito bowls and both had the wrong meat and one was missing 3 additional items. Went in to get it corrected and were given two new bowls that still had the wrong meat and one was still missing one additional item. Went to get it corrected again and both bowls still had the incorrect meat. To preface my next point, online orders are made in the back kitchen where you can't see them making the food. I'm sure some of you are also thinking "Well maybe you didn't know what the meat looked like" and that's a great point we did not. When I talked to the individual at the front counter I asked them if it was indeed chicken in my bowl and both times they told me no before giving it to the back to make the new bowls. In the end we had places to be so we did not get them corrected for a 3rd time. Everyone we spoke to was nice but whatever was going on in the back kitchen wasn't right. read more

Stopped in for a quick work lunch on the run. When I looked up this location on Google Maps I feared it was inside the mall. Once arrived I was pleased to find it's on the outside and you enter directly from the parking lot. Service was excellent and fast, and the food was as I always expect. (This is not a specific location review, just overall Chipotle as a chain.) What can I say, it's Chipotle! Good (standard) taste, quick service, expensive guacamole that's so hard to turn down. The staff is hit or miss at every shop. I've met the spunkiest/fun people working, I've also met the crabbiest/unpleasant people working. Could go either way. Personally, I'd really appreciate more meat and less rice. I feel like I get less and less meat every time I go... So I tend to go less and less. But it's always there when I want it. So much painful diarrhea this morning. The guy with the beard and mask who put the hot sauce on didn't hear when I said not much. Because I was in a hurry, I didn't have time to have him make another one. He ruined the burrito, my morning and butthole. Also, the guy who folded my burrito had just been handling cash and didn't change his gloves. AGain, I would have asked him what the fuck that was all about but I didn't have time. I will NEVER go back unless I am getting ready for a colonoscopy because the amount of spicy diarrhea is certainly not worth it.
