FOOD POISONING WARNING. I ate at this Burger King in Show Low around 5pm on 4/30/25, ordered a Whopper Junior Meal and order of churros. I was transported by ambulance to an ER in Phoenix sometime in the early hours of the next day with severe food poisoning suspected from staphylococcus. It's two days later and I am just now able to report this. The phone number to the restaurant is no longer in service and the Navajo County Health Department is not regularly staffed so I've been unable to let them know. An elderly person or child, or someone with compromised health, may not fare as well as I have. If someone could get a message to management there, please do so since I'm unable to reach them. read more

As far as Burger Kings go - this one is clean and the staff is well groomed and doesn't look like they fell face first into a tackle box. Service is good. How is the overall rating a 1 you ask... Well I wanted to add an egg... it's Burger King - have it your way right? Well forget that - if you want them to add an egg that's an additional $4.00. I'd gladly pay $2 more but $4... mercy thats $48/dozen eggs... that's a 1000% markup (with eggs costing about $4/dozen wholesale).... Dawg -- "the King" must be trying to be King Solomon! To get any breakfast sandwich with an egg in it you have to spend $5-$7.... That just cray-cray! A nice clean Burger King... but there are too many better options if they "force" you to spend $6-$10 for something worth eating. TIP FOR OWNERSHIP: I get inflation/inc min wage cost... But learn to market and drive traffic to your store already! If you fixed the pricing you'd get retiree regulars like me in 3-4 times per week during the summer months Im in town... and occasionally I meet friends for breakfast/coffee.... but only having options for 2 biscuits or $6-$8 or $6-$8 non "ala cart" poor value meals minimum orders KILLS traffic. I know you offer 1 single sausage (only) biscuit... but for the heck of it - allow cheese/egg to be added for a "reasonable" up-charge and watch what happens. I ordered online. I asked if it was all here when I went in to pick it . The Lady Mgr said yes. I asked where are the onion rings. She said they are added to the burger you put them on. I ordered No onions on the burger. Yes, I got a lot of onions, which I am allergic too. No onion rings what so ever. The Lady Mgr should have given better customer service and checked what I was talking about. She turned her back on me and walked away. Very rude. And poor customer service. 3.5/5stars This was my second visit to this Burger King. We had breakfast at 6 am and were exhausted from sitting at Verizon 2 hrs trying to get a jet pack working. This was on our way home and we just popped in to get a quick bite. Similar to our first time eating here. I was greeted at the counter by what appeared to be the manager. We got the 2 for $6 Whoppers, fries and a milk shake since fountain drinks were not working. I forgot to tell her we needed one Whopper without anything on it. The manager offered to give me a different one-even though it was my mistake. That is good business that earns my respect. I hadn't eaten at a BK in a long time but it surprised me and my husband that the sandwich was very tasty. It was huge and I only ate the burger and toppings. We weren't fans of the fries but that's personal preference. I wouldn't mind going back to Burger King if I needed something fast. Service is great. read more

Driving to the white mountains to enjoy a restful weekend and as I pulled into the town of Showlow. unaware of my surroundings and meal options I saw the patriotic red white and blue logo of Burger King. A trusted name and Whopper I value and trust. I ordered my Whopper with cheese and jalapeños. After slowly unwrapping my whopper and salivating the image of enjoying this warm sesame seed bun Burger I notice I had no cheese. I approach my cashier politely waited for a customers to walk away explaining to her there's no cheese she return with a open napkin in a piece of cheese attempting to allow myself to add it to my burger. I told her that's a bit disrespectful not honoring my whopper she hesitated and made a comment that she has a throw this one burger way I said yes I don't want it. We've been to this Burger King before on one of our trips and it wasn't particularly bad or good. Today I felt it was more on the mediocre side. There was a young kid that was the cashier and he seemed really despondent, never smiled, never really said anything. Earlier, I got in his way accidentally by going into the Women's Room. Then, as I went to go order at the counter, I once again accidentally got in his way again. He seemed pretty perturbed by it. So for his service, I give him a 1. However, as we ate, another woman, older with a neck brace, she came over and asked how was our food and how we were. That was really nice. We saw her treating everyone well. So, I give her a 5. The food, however, seemed mediocre, too. We ordered a Whopper and 2 other burgers and all the burger patties seemed really small, even the Whopper. They didn't taste all that great either. Our meal was $18 and it wasn't a lot of food, so I give this really a 1. (1+5+1)/3 = 2.3, rounding would give this a 2. I don't think we'll go here again. read more

I went into Burger King yesterday around noon . I ordered my food my bill came to $28.66 I didn't have my debit card on me all I had was a $100.00 dollar bill Danya the cashier looked at me and just stared at me. Then she said I can't take that I was like it's all I have she then pointed to small letters behind the register and it said nothing larger then $20 dollar bills. Before I could say anything else she walked away and got her manager. I then explained to the manager that this is all I had. She then also pointed to the sign behind the register and said nothing bigger then $20 dollar bills. I said but it's not like you just opened I don't have anything else. So I said let me go see if my husband had his debit card. I don't live in Show Low and every time I do go up there my debit cards get locked up and I was lucky my husband had his on him and not at the hotel. I came back in and the cashier Danya just stared at me and I then said do I need to tell you my order over again or did you suspend the transaction. I then said I need to change one of the sandwich I told you the wrong one. She just stood there and stared I then asked her are you going to finish my order or am I not allowed to order food. She then turned got her manager Anna again and said I need her card. I was like ok communication would be helpful. The manager just stood there and allowed her to be disrespectful to me and the manager was equally disrespectful. I then asked can I get the other two drink cups and she just stood there I said I did pay for them right she then said gosh then handed me the cups. I get having a bad day and I get having policies but this Burger King didn't just open and it was late at night as a customer I feel like they could have taken the $100.00 dollar bill but what really made this the worst experience ever was the way the cashier treated me and the manager allowing this behavior to happen. I complained and they said they were waiting on fries. But if they had bagged ours in the order they took the orders we wouldn't still be waiting. Finally the fries were done and we left. Fries were as expect very hot. Burger and Fish, as we expected were very cold. The Fish was a little warm but the whopper was VERY cold! The rest rooms were clean. The drink bar was somewhat clean.
