I ordered the penne pasta with white sauce and shrimp, and the portion was generous enough that I had leftovers. I served them the next night alongside steaks, and the pasta was just as flavorful warmed up as it was when it first arrived. So many wonderful flavors in every bite! We sat at the bar both times, and both bartenders were outstanding--attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely fun to chat with. They had the soccer game playing, so we were able to enjoy a great meal, relax, and watch the game at the same time. After a long ski day at Sunrise Ski Resort, we headed back to our cabin and needed to feed 28 hungry people -- kids, adults, picky eaters, the whole crew. Red Devil Pizza came THROUGH. We needed something quick and delicious, and they absolutely delivered. The ordering process was easy, the food was ready fast, and everything was hot and fresh. First of all -- shoutout to them for offering a cauliflower crust. That was perfect for our crew members with dietary restrictions, and it was actually GOOD (not cardboard pretending to be pizza). We went with Meal Lovers and all I can say is Chef's kiss for anyone wanting all the flavor without the traditional crust. The kids devoured the classic cheese and pepperoni. Zero leftovers on those. The veggie pizza had great flavor, variety and didn't feel skimpy on toppings. There's no way that this Red Devil in Pinetop is part of the Red Devil chain. I've eaten here about a half dozen times over the past several years and I always think it will be as good as other Red Devil restaurants. Huge mistake! The food here is hardly palatable and the service absolutely sucks. I've had 3 different versions of what they call an "Italian Sub" and it's always been bad. Last night was a roll with two slices of salami, some onion and Swiss cheese that was melted at some time during the process, but then served cold. No lettuce, no dressing, no tomato, no nothing. The service was just as bad. If you're a server on the rag, stay home! No one should have to deal with your attitude. I've always tipped a minimum of 20%. That was the last time. I've been to Pinetop many times over the last few years and kept driving past Red Devil for other restaurants. However after giving it some thought and on recommendations from family we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately we hit the restaurant during the Pioneer Days holiday that occurs during this time of year so they were short staffed. But that didn't stop us from having a great time along with some amazing food. Regardless of the lack of kitchen staff we ended up getting great service as well from our waitress. Once our food did come out we were starving so either everything tasted good because of that or they really do have good food! Either way it was delicious. We will definitely be back to Red Devil whenever we go back to Pinetop. Fun Tip: if you're staying at the Worldmark Pinetop resort Red Devil gives 15% off your bill if you show your room key. We came here celebrating my partners birthday, and learned it's a family owned business. They have a form of an espresso martini here, but I like mine made a specific way and they had everything needed to make me the espresso martini I wanted. We ended up getting a small Hawaiian Pizza, a Hawaiian calzone, and the chicken parm. All were DELICIOUS. We devoured the chicken parm instantly, and my 2nd favorite was the Hawaiian pizza. The pizza i got last night was kind of disgusting. I wish i had took pictures but i started eating it i was so hungry and only came back to review after being sick today. Tons of cheese, way too much cheese, like absurb ammounts, and dough seemed underdone in the center . Probably from all the cheese . We were there over the 4th of July days, so every restaurant was super busy at the evening meal times. We'd waited for awhile at another restaurant, but weren't getting seated, so came here. It was our first time, although the other couples already knew it was good food. We were seated right away, but were warned it was taking about an hour for the food to get to patrons. We figured it'd be better to wait indoors with water and complimentary bread while waiting for entrees. Our server was great and got our order in quickly. It took some time, but I don't think it was an hour. I ordered the chicken piccata and appreciated that they had several options for sides besides just pasta. The chicken was a big portion and very tasty. The mixed veggies were one of the better ones I've had in a restaurant--squashes, peppers, onions, etc. I couldn't eat it all, so had it for breakfast the next day! After driving the three and a half hours up from warm Phoenix to freezing Pinetop, I was craving a bowl of Italian Wedding Soup at, of course, a good Italian restaurant. I checked into my hotel and had done zero research on what kind of Italian options PT might have, but whaddya know? On my way back from shopping at Safeway, I drove by a Red Devil. Brakes screeching - ok maybe not that dramatic - but I did do an immediate U-ie b/c I love the RD in Phoenix. No Italian Wedding Soup that night but they did have homemade Minestrone. I sat at the bar where gasp! I was offered ciabatta bread & butter. SO many restaurants just don't serve this any more (ok ok Olive Garden does but that's not any place we go to). Hockey game played on the overhead televisions, couple eating at the bar chatting with the bartender they obviously knew and one of the wait staff heard I was from Phoenix, so we started talking. Love these kind of places! I manged on a delicious Chicken Piccata - just the right amount of lemon, capers, wine and handful of diced tomatoes - served on a bed of fettuccine + a garden salad hit the spot. Again, excited to find another Red Devil & nerded out, researching to find out that there are four locations total: two in Phoenix, one in Tempe, and one in Pinetop, all family owned. Sweet! P.S. What a good place for good Italian food! This place has a good environment with tvs playing sports and a bar to enjoy drinks with a nice outside patio. The service is also really good too I was checking out some of the pizza's on the tables and I really needed to give it a shot. Went with the all time classic standard pizza and salad for dinner. The pizza wasn't on the thick side but just a nice mid range of thickness that you can enjoy a slice or two to fill up. The amount of cheese was great and had a nice cheese pull. The toppings were good and fresh tasting. The chicken apple salad was nice and light with a good amount of chicken with a good balsamic dressing to keep it light. Really enjoyed that salad! This is the spot for some good pizza or pasta. They have a big selection of different dishes you were able to order. They also have salads and sandwiches on the menu which creates options for everyone in your party. They do not take reservations but you can walk in and put your name in and usually on a Friday or Saturday night it is pretty busy. I recommend getting takeout if you're looking for a quicker option to eat sooner. The bar is first come first serve so if you do have a smaller party you can always just sit there if there are seats available as well. We do love coming here for dinner anytime we are in Pinetop and recommend this place as well! read more

Food choices, many. Probably the best tasting Italian sausage I've ever tasted! Didn't get pizza, but what both my wife and I ordered was delicious, had to take back to the hotel.
