Even for fast food this is bad. I've gone twice in the last week thinking the first time was a "bad day", but it was just as bad today. Most of the staff is very rude, and practically throw your food at you after they've taken your money; seeming very irritated at your very presence. Normally this wouldn't be such a bad thing if the food wasn't terrible as well, but unfortunately the food is just thrown together without any care at all. On top of that, it's not been hot food ( room temperature at best.) I don't eat very much fast food anyway, but I was in a hurry today and really hungry so I stopped. Food is ok. Never had an issue in this place other than the fries taste awfully stale. Breakfast menu is great and the impossible whopper is garbage but that is just my personal opinion. My word. I KNOW that Burger King isn't the place you go to get like, TOTALLY IMPRESSED - but as an American, I did grow up with The Whopper. It's generally a good sandwich, even if I do tend to have regrets in the aftermath. But this place was like an INSULT to the king. I was ASHAMED for the staff. Just when I thought people can't get any dumber or more incompetent, I get proven wrong by going to this BK. Everything was fail. Bad service, filthy restaurant, lacking displayed menu items, and the 2 employees in the back could barely figure out how to wrap the food, much less prepare it. Stay away from this place. Should have checked Yelp first as we left the Joshua Tree National Park but figured BK would do in a pinch after all day exploring. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Couldn't even get the chicken nuggets right. My daughter loves going to BK. Yesterday while in 29 we made a stop. I hate when she wants to go to this BK. It is always a hit or miss. Yesterday was the last time I will ever eat there! Our Whoppers and fries took 30 min to cook. We were the only people in the place and 2 cars in the drive thru. The lettuce on both burgers were the core of the lettuce. Hard white and yellow strips that we picked off... I asked for more napkins and was told "We do not have many, how many would you l need". I said, Like 4 maybe. She looked at me and grabs a bag and says," this is all we have so how many do you REALLY need" as she gave me 2 napkins. SMH My 12 year old daughter says," well there is a store right over there they could go buy some more napkins"... WOW! Ya think! My 12 year old could run this place! The Manager was rude and degrading to the 2 women who were working. When asked if he had orders ready he would reply with " Give me a break would you, I have only been in this store for 4 weeks". Um, don't they all look the same pretty much inside. If it took this guy 4 weeks to wrap a burger and he was sent to the 29 Palms store to fix it then it is doomed! If you love extremely slow service, so that when you get your food at last it is cold; and if you like to watch employees at play, rather than getting your order. And if you especially like to have your order wrong every single time you will love this Burger King! There are two other franchise hamburger joints, two cafes, and a taco place. It's the only BK in Twentynine Palms, and to be fair the food isn't bad at all, but... 9 out of 10 times you use the drive through, they always tell you to park out front. You'd think they'd have the simple stuff ready, they don't. It's irritating to order here because of how often they're unable to serve you at the drive through. Completely defeats the purpose. Another big negative for the early crowd, I can't recall how many times now you go in the morning and they're unable to take your order because they're not open, even though it's well past their opening times. Overall, the food is what's expected of fast food, but their readiness is so bad it makes the trip down to the McD worth the effort. My family placed an order with the clerk of the Burger King in 29 Palms and then got our order. Among the other items, I ordered a Double Whopper with cheese, no sauce and no onions. When we got home, I opened my burger to find that it was double wrapped. The outer wrapper was marked with no sauce and no onions. The inner wrapper was for everything. The inside wrapper and burger were cut in half. It had ketchup and mayonnaise as well as onions. It was also cold. Someone had taken a pre-prepared burger and simply wrapped it in a clean wrapper and marked it for no sauce or onions. My daughter returned with the burger and asked that it be replaced. The manager Autumn was rude, defensive, and argumentative. If this is the norm at this Burger King, my advice would be not to visit this place. I got a replacement burger and it was okay but with service like what Autumn provided, I will not be visiting Burger King again any time soon. Terrible service and tolerable food. This is like the bastard child of fast food in 29 palms. Its so far west i forget it exists until i leave or return to town then for a split second i smell their fryers and char broilign machine then just like that its a figment of a supressed memory. I went to the burger king in 29 palms, I went through the drive through at breakfast to order a breakfast sandwich and I get told there are no eggs. But regardless my wife & I still ordered the sandwich and French toast sticks because if you know 29 you know there isn't much that's in the area & we were tired of Del taco and McDonald's for a quick pick me up. This place was closed down about 3 weeks ago for a vermin infestation. Not sure who the Health Inspector was, but they reopened the very next day. The report stated that the OLD rat droppings were still present. Apparently as long as the NEW droppings were removed, they were given the okay to reopen. Today, they are closed again. Not sure why, but one has to wonder. I will NEVER eat at this Burger King. read more

This is the worst Burger King I have ever been in. The premises is dirty. If I could give a minus rating I would do so. I used the washroom before ordering, but after that I decided not to order anything. I have nothing to recommend this place. The main restaurant area needs a very careful cleaning. Food is BK, so you know what you're getting there.... But the service is dismal. I've never gotten my food within fifteen minutes. Last time I was there, the lady behind the counter had a guy at the counter and they were yelling at each other. He sat down when I went up to order, and as soon as I was done went back up and they continued. Ignored them, got our food and sat as far away in the restaurant as we could.... I used to love, love, love Burger King years ago when I was in high school. I could've eaten a whopper and fries every day and never tired of it. Back then, the buns and toppings were always fresh, and the meat hot. Now, the buns tend to be just as limp and soggy as the lettuce, and often times taste like they've been under a heat lamp for way too long. As some point, BK starting cooking their fries in some sort of a "healthy" oil, which gives them an odd flavor dominated by salt. read more

Absolute worst Burger King I've ever visited they're constantly out of things like cookies and when you catch them having cookies they're burnt and not edible. You should always check your bag and your drink if you're getting it to go. The fries are always greasy and smells of old oil. read more
